  1. People who like K-pop should get rid if their superiorty complex over other genres. K-pop is not more innocent or safe. It's just not as obvious
  2. I posted this in another thread but idk if this is a popular or unpopular opinion: Why sm did they even bother adding a japanese member(Yuta) in the group (nct)? He feels useless (not saying this because of skill, it's because they don't give him a role of any sort). Like, he adds nothing to the group, if he was removed nothing would change at all. They don't seem to need him for anything, the others members do fine in Japan without him. Lol, the only useful thing he does is correct the other member's japanese on stage, how sad
  3. Chung ha's roller coaster mv copied scenes from scenes one of Aimyon's music videos. Yeesh
  4. I once saw japanese netizens refer to the pointy rounded sm chin as a "popcorn chin". Thought that was a good descriptive word for it lol
  5. People argue about "stage presence" so much that I'm not even sure what they mean by it anymore.
  6. Fillers harm your skin too, beauty always comes with a price. If I remember correctly, fillers make your skin weaker and sag, and if you keep on using them your skin will get really damaged and you feel the need to continue using them to maintain the shape you made.
  7. Why are you saying "they"? He could have wanted it himself too you know. Most idols want surgery to enhance their looks, and there's a lot of competition. Only some are actually forced. Anyways Ten seems to able to do quite a few things for himself, I don't think he's powerless or has no choice.
  8. People who get upset when they're told not to use the abbrevation "Jap". It's a racist slur and you're disgusting if you know that and still use it.
  9. Men, I had no idea indonesian users were like that P.S. sorry lol
  10. When I saw his pictures after he was gone for quite a while I was telling my sister I'm pretty sure Ten got jaw shaving and she agreed. It looks different from before and the shape is off like you said
  11. Taeil would have been better off as a solo vocalist. He is one of the best K-pop vocalists I've heard and his skill is being wasted in the mess that is nct system. Hope he leaves and becomes a solo singer (not a part of idol-pop)
  12. Ok so I've always found this confusing: A lot of people say that Yuta's face always looks plastic and unnatural even when they were smrookies before he got chin fillers, and I I always found that so strange because he (besides mark and most of the dreamies) were the softest and most natural looking ones to me. Also after seeing his predebut pictures he looked exactly the same as he did while being an smrookie, are they saying he got surgery at age 14? A japanese schoolboy living in a small little town? That sounds really unrealistic. Is there anyone who doesn't think Yuta's face is all plastic? This is what he looked like when he joined sm which is pretty the same way he looked until he got chin fillers. I highly doubt he got surgery as a kid People like to use this picture as an example that he got surgery, but he looks pretty much the same here too, he just had more of a rough style. If you're wondering why I'm saying this here and not the Ps thread, it's because most people there think hes all plastic (and always been). I wanted to post it on his thread to see what people who visit his thread think
  13. All those people that call certain idols "LGBT icons!" or "Gay king/queen!" Can you just stop. If they are gay they never admitted it and they do nothing for the LGBT community in their own country. Those titles belong to people who actually are honest and contribute
  14. Till now I still cant decide, is the j-idol industry much more corrupt than the k-idol industry, or is it equally corrupt and they're just much better at hiding? I find myself way more suspicious of the k-idol industry because things hardly get out so you don't really know what goes on
  15. Probably because everyone was talking about him (or making fun) when he got the chin fillers, and since the shape of his jaw/chin has been changing over time, people still like to discuss it. Whats ridiculous is a lot of people seem to think that hes the only one who continuously touches up his work, when that's nowhere near true. A lot of the other members have been changing their faces so much throughout the years they're hardly recognizable. It's just that their surgeon does a much better job on them so people don't really call it out.
  16. Thanks for these examples. I've always noticed this but for some reason a lot of people don't believe he continuously gets work done
  17. Whats funny is I don't think he got work done except for the jaw/chin area? His face moves a lot too. I'm by no way in denial, it's just what I see. If anyone can really prove he did get other work done I'd believe it.
  18. Isn't his chin longer because the chin fillers? Or is it something else? I'm not sure. I think what happened was he tried to even out the pointy fillers he had at one point and now his face is longer. Also yeah Idk why he doesn't get better angles when taking selfies (he should be smarter than that smh). The other members obviously put a lot of work into them. I saw him once take a selfie in a split second when the others took sooo long with angles and filters (during a livestream) P.S. Yuta has been discussed many times on this thread
  19. Yeah that's definitely bichectomy work done. Also that jaw work was extremely unnecessary P.S. Do you have pictures for examples on Yuta too?
  20. Even though I starting watching k-dramas before j-dramas, I enjoy J-dramas way more. A lot of k-dramas have really good production quality and supposedly have exciting and thrilling storylines. However their actors are supposed to be "good looking" but the extreme amount of plastic surgery really throws me off. Most of them have stiff faces and are quite expressionless (not all the time tho) which is something I really don't like. Also their strive for perfection is unrealistic and not entertaining imo, and their acting is nothing special, and there are a ton of other reasons I have. I used to think j-dramas were lame because I didn't know much about them but when I starting searching I found a wide variety of fun genres. I find the way their actors are not perfect looking and much more expressive while acting more entertaining, among other reasons.
  21. Yeah it is very tight. I think the point is for the resting face to look gorgeous. It's not surprising to see young people doing this *sigh*
  22. Yeah I don't know, do you have pictures as an example? Because I can't remember when that was
  23. I don't really know it depends on what the person does to their face throughout the years. Most likely the face sags and the surgery (jaw shave) become really evident, among other things. You just need to look at celebrities who are old now but have had a lot of work done throughout the years. One celebrity I can think of(though he's not really old yet) is Jang Keun-suk. He had a jaw shave and nose job and maybe other work done when he was young but it really hurt him when he got older
