SM giving members solo albums is a tactic they always use to 'persuade' them individually when the whole group refuse to renew. they are looking for the ones who are the most profittable too as a solo artist so they can convince them (individually to stay). its the exact same tactic they used on snsd

Today EXO lost copyrights of some of their songs including love shot, been through, oasis, and tempo. The reason is bcs SM stopped caring and isnt willing to pay additional royalties to Marz Music (the composers) Fans (including chinese exols) found out the reason SM stopped paying is bcs EXO most likely told SM last year they're most likely wont be renewing (EXO themselves dropped hints to fans abt this), alsoprobably this is why SM cancelled the repackage). here is the current situation between SM and EXO according to an entertainment insider a few weeks ago

okay but i remember exo fansite masters back in 2013 complaining about the struggle when they took pics of junmyeon next to other members bcs they would want to brighten the pic but they couldnt bcs he was so white compared to other members, like when they increased the brightness he would literally look completely blinding white.

it was the members decision to keep jongdae in the group. im glad they did what they had to do and im glad they're standing up for jongdae. im looking at the responds from kexols and cexols of this news and its sad tbh, i cant understand why they're acting like this. cant believe 90% of the k and c fandom are against him and members' decision. im seeing a lot of tweets saying they have no choice but to unstan the group, seeing a lot of big fansites closed down immediately. looking at all of this, EXO will definitely lose most of their fans in korea and china.
