  1. So I was reading the Privacy Policy section of the Blanc website and I noticed that the mailing address is in Hong Kong? c/o BLANC Group 14/F, The Broadway 54-62 Lockhart Road Wanchai, Hong Kong Tyler Kwon?
  2. HQ Chain Reaction http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/3jOKBMGQ26k/ -edit- it's flawless as expected -edit2- Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LcKHLIK_-M&feature=youtu.be
  3. Beautiful Stranger is probably my favourite non title track from SNSD across Korean and Japan releases... so glad Jessica chose it!! TAENGSIC HAS RETURNED
  4. It will lessen the pressure on her definitely but it would be a very bad PR move, making such a move would make people think she is indirectly admitting that she was wrong when she wasn't and she will cop even more flack for shutting down the last avenue of communication with fans - not all fans are angry but if she closes insta, even those fans might get mad
  5. In some slightly fun news, Yunho and Changmin from DBSK attended SNSD's show tonight. They are also in Osaka on their dome tour Source: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1s26uoj
  6. Look, the argument about whether k-fans or i-fans are reacting reasonably or not is not going to go anywhere and frankly, it is not important. What we as i-fans say is correct, yet, honestly dnm also has a point about how k-fans make up more sales and therefore income for the company and SNSD. The important thing is that whether you agree with how kfans are reacting or not, unfortunately, real damage has been done both within the fandom and from the point of view from the public. What we should focus on now is how SNSD and Sones are going to get out of this situation and rebuild the rapport and trust and move on from this.
  7. What's evident is that most fans will calm down, but a sizeable number of fans have lost trust and the SNSD brand is no longer as infallible as it once was with the public. I think we are at a turning point and the next two comebacks - TTS and the group album - are going to determine the fate of SNSD. Right now, working hard is the best way to remind the fans that SNSD loves them. Show the world the famous SNSD "rookie mentality" that has been missing of late and prove that there has been a mistake that has been made but underneath it all, the same old SNSD is still there. Remind them of the SNSD that cried seeing SONE fanevents at their concert, the SNSD that survived Black Ocean, the SNSD whose work ethic, teamwork and bond with the fans led to them becoming the reigning queens of Kpop - show the world that they're still here. We know that they exist, we know SNSD are eternally grateful for their fans and their support, people just need to be reminded again.
  8. Honestly, I think k-fans are blowing this way out of proportion but I do see where they are coming form. As i-fans, we buy their albums, we watch subbed videos that they're in, we got nuts over airport photos and concert cams. The thing is that K-fans put in the hard yards to make this happen. For many k-fans, SNSD aren't just a hobby or a group that they like. We might think of this obsession as crazy, but these fans are the ones who fly to Japan to take fancams and photos at their concert. These are the people who give us airport photos and fancams of recordings. These are the people who defend SNSD against other fandoms, against netizens and the ones who clarify malicious rumours. Can we say that we would skip work/school/class to go watch them at their schedules? Can any of us here really say that we would be willing to fork out hundreds/maybe thousands for flights, accommodation and concert tickets for SNSD? The truth is that well, yes SNSD does owe much of their fame to k-fans and that's not SNSD's fault, its just that the way Kpop works makes this true. SNSD's music makes us casual fans, their personalities make us dedicated fans but the reason for SNSD's success in the fandom and in particular, the public is the hard work that fans put in to make sure that SNSD has a positive image. The things k-fans seem to be the most mad about is that Taeyeon has said before that instagram was to get closer with fans and fans are mad that this was apparently a lie (Like many of you have said, I think its stupid that 1 or 2 photos out of hundreds is such a big deal). But more importantly (and I think this is a fair point), k-fans seem to be pissed that despite covering for SNSD and making sure that the public perception of SNSD is clean, Taeyeon herself was careless. The argument is that after being a veteran of so many years, she should have known how the industry works and how to go about having a relationship. The implication is that she was either careless or worse, did not care about how this played out. I think things will settle fine, SNSD and Sones have been together for 7 going onto 8 years and its clear how the girls feel about their fans. This was careless of Taeyeon's part and I think after the initial period of disappointment and anger, things will return to normal, maybe with a few fans less but SNSD and Sones will be intact. What I'm worried about is the public image of SNSD. Before, everyone thought SNSD's public image was indestructible and that they can do no wrong. Now, the public aren't going to be looking at them with such a positive attitude and it's going to take a lot of work to build that up again.
  9. It's a touchy-feely subject. I think Kfans are getting better in that they are ok with idols dating and having a private life. But for kfans, that part of an idol's life and the part interacting with the fans are clearly defined areas which do not overlap. Previous examples include Kim Woobin sharing a fan gift with his girlfriend. The most similar case is L from Infinite who landed in a tonne of hot water because he was leaving all these tweets which everyone was for fans but it turns out it was for his girlfriend. Then Woollim denied the relationship, only to retract that and admit it which led to fans thinking that the company and L himself was belittling their concerns by denying it which led to a lot of his fansites going on hiatus. The fallout was quite intense and it's probably why L and the main Infinite group has been on the down-low for almost a year. TBH the reaction from Korean netizens and fans is worrying, the previous reveals didn't lead to fans being disappointed
  10. Getting kind of worried for SNSD, this media circus from the start of the year has turned into a race between the tabloids at the detriment of SNSD. Once the wound is open, the vultures start circling and it looks like SM had no say this time unlike with Yoona, otherwise they would have waited until TTS promotions were over. Not that genuine fans should have any problem with this dating stuff but fandoms in general don't change and there is going to be some sort of impact.
  11. I'd be very careful of fan accounts like these, I really don't think that Happy Camp/SM would actually make a video saying things like that...
  12. Apparently they played a very emotional VCR and Lay, Luhan and Suho cried Somehow I don't think Sehun is crying for the same reason... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bp2ke-ECMAE7f4b.jpg And then this... http://instagram.com/p/pGr_KnAYBm/ Lay: "There would be times where its tiring, but endure it and it will go away. It's no big deal, we're a team right?"
  13. HAHAHAHA watch the random hand pump to the music at 3:03, another random hand at 3:12, Jessica (?) at 3:15
  14. Not sure if the streamer is sitting close to the SONE section or if the entire stadium is singing along... most likely the latter lol SNSD started with VCR, then Mr Mr. then talk and closing with Hoot now. LOL did the entire stadium just try to sing Taeyeon's first high note?
  15. The latest in pink lightstick technology. cr: soshi_bond K-sones got some futuristic high-tech equipment going on.. Sorry, someone already posted pages back!

  17. Press Conference Roundup: Naver reports there will be no new member. Luhan says they will continue to promote in China as EXO-M with no major changes to the original plan From the press conference thread: [140525 PRESS CONFERENCE] EXO member's comments on Kris Suho: "At first, it was very confusing. We were more concerned about fans. We wanted to give them a perfect performance. We talked about it a lot. We worked very hard in rehearsal, we hoped to give everyone a great performance." Lay: (regarding the situation about Kris)"It was very disappointing." Tao: "Everyone has been affected by this but I hope that won’t be what people focus on. We will grow stronger from this." Luhan: “There won’t be much changes to our activities, we’ll be having our concerts in Korea and Hong Kong. M will continue promoting in China.†Suho: "More than anything, we were thrown aback. All of the members struggled both mentally and physically, with the concert in one week." Chen: “EXO has grown stronger after Kris’ incident.†Luhan: "In such a short time, everything had to be changed. everyone & the staff worked together to give a perfect stage. we’re very moved." Chen: “The ground has hardened after the rain. This allowed the members to band together even closer.†Lay: "We were interviewed in China as well, but we were all very hurt by this situation. We were pained that it seemed to split the fandom and create misunderstandings. We hope that this won’t happen again and that we can become more united as one EXO." EXO: "We won’t stop until we’re number 1 in Asia, number 1 in the world, as 11." New stops on the tour: pic.twitter.com/RMlmGgJBlH Hong Kong, Wuhan, Chongqing, Qingdao, Taiwan, Shanghai, Changsha, Xi An, Manila, Singapore, Guangzhou, Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka and more to come
  18. HAHAHAHA OMG CHINESE FANS... well Kai's hair looks wild enough to be like a monkeys...
  19. Translation of the Chinese parts (by me) Luhan: After completing the Seoul concert, next we will be at our home - Lay: Oh, your homeground/country? Luhan: No, no, our homeground (Lay: yep yep, we will visit a lot of places there right?). We will be having a lot of concerts throughout China, hope everyone is anticipating it! Tao: We are very excited and happy to be able to go back to do a concert in our home country China. We are very touched. We have wanted to hold a concert there and we're very happy and fortunate to be able to realise this dream. Lay: Hope everyone will support EXO's concerts! T/N: Sorry I know it sounds pretty disjointed, first time translating! Homeground/country (literally: main area) is a word which is hard to translate - the closest is probably "your area" - in a sports context, it means homecourt, normally, it could mean your country, where you live or a place where you are the most active.
  20. Me too! Hope the c-fans figure out soon... Just worried about the psychological impact of this on the members... I remember Yunho admitted that he was depressed for a long time after JYJ happened, lost sight of his dreams and he would wander around Seoul aimlessly and drink But yeah, SM really needs to do something about the situation in China before the damage is permanent
  21. Honestly, I was surprised at how quickly it turned personal in China, I thought it would be the usual "we hate SM" "Kim Young Min is Satan" sort of nonsense but this PR firm is unfortunately very good at what it does. I think this will impact their career. DBSK, while still very very popular these days, could have been so much more. Same thing with SJM, the reason why Perfection (the album following Hangeng's departure) was heavily promoted in Taiwan and not China was because they needed to take time off there for the public sentiment to cool down. But the campaigns to destabilise DB2K/SJM were not this well organised so I'm not sure...
  22. See, the thing is that its Kris who wants out from SM working conditions, I doubt he agreed to this campaign to harm EXO as individuals. The other members have no concerns with SM, in fact, Lay specifically said the members had no issues with SM in an interview today. The situation that each side finds themselves in is not the same, you can't expect them to react the same. I'm just saying, I believe Kris cared/still cares for EXO and I don't think he should be standing on the sidelines about this because he is the reason why this started. Well knowing how close-minded many K-netizens are, they were never going to support Kris anyway. But the point here is that it's not about us i-fans or k-fans, its about the c-fans. The abuse that's being hurled at the members, the disgusting searches and trends being associated with EXO, the hacking of fansite and fanbase weibo's, the entire point of this is to throw the c-fans into chaos and to ruin SM and EXO's credibility with the public and frankly, its working very well.
