Probably will get negged for saying this but ladies of Blackpink has gotten very skinny recently. Yes yes I know everyone has always been very slim, but looking at their recent touring/Coachella pictures, Jennie Lisa Rose have all gotten extra skinny. I wonder if this is YGE's doing or the girls' own preferences b/c it feels like it all sort of happened recently because none of the girls lost this much for the entirety of their careers 'til now.

When I first saw their MV and heard the song, I thought they were great, vocals and dancing were both very strong and the song production is pretty amazing. Then I watched 3 of their live performances, by the second one I had the feeling when I first saw BTS live: that this group is very special and they're going to places. Everglow is a very strong group in both talent and visuals (haven't watched anything non-music related so can't comment on their personalities just yet) and with the right marketing, which I believe YH will do right by them, they're gonna be big as long as they keep dropping catchy tracks like BBC.

I honestly think most girl group members (in this case, Blackpink) get minor maintenance on egular basis: botox, fillers, basically injectables. So we often see them looking bloated, stiff, wax-like, etc etc. Yoona, to me, is one of those girls that I can never quite pin point exactly what she has done (part from the obvious nose job and forehead), but every year she looks better than the last; It's probably a combination of great self-care and subtle tweaks over time. The only thing I can see people question is her eyelids. In a younger school photos, she seems to have mono-lids but her double eyelids these days are very prominent (but she could just be using tape?). Overall I think Jisoo is most likely surgery free, just really grew into her looks. Combination of getting older and regular minor maintenance. Most of them don't look drastically different from their debut days (but of course, some have already had things done by No Mercy, their survival show b/c they were most likely more or less told they're sure fire to debut). Also styling can change a lot.

Everyone always says YG is terrible at artist management and unable to promote them properly. Personally it’s not he can’t, it’s he doesn’t want to. Take Blackpink for example, before this comeback they were looking like they’re going on tour with less than 10 songs. With Big Bang in the army, iKON pretty much handles their own business (B.I writes almost all of their music and they do their own choreo a big chunk of the time), WINNER also piggyback most of the work themselves; you mean to tell me a company as big as YGE don’t have enough of resources to create and release more music for one group? Like what is keeping all his producers so occupied? I honestly think YG enjoys the thought that he can be the only man in the industry who can say “I have a huge group who is selling out world tours with just 9 songsâ€. Like really feeds into his egos that he can do the minimum with Blackpink and still gets huge returns.

It really puzzles me how so many reactors did not get the storyline for B.A.P's One Shot, especially toward the ending. The MV made it dead clear he was an undercover cop but like so many people didn't get.

That could be it. They seemed relaxed each other in the car clip. Like there weren’t the whole “oh hi hello, please sit here†politeness people tend to initially have with people they don’t really know well.

Maybe he’s a certain way around people he doesn’t know and I’m way off the mark, but it kind of feels like him and Yeri know each other (like they’re friends). Also it true his management didn’t send anyone to go with him?

Been bing re-watching iKON TV for the past few weeks. Part of me really wish they would make season 2 this year, but other part of me knows how much work goes into each episode and rather them get some rest, then the 3rd part of misses iKON content. LOL I'm just a ball of conflicting thoughts today.

This thread deserves a bump. What I like about them is they have a friendship type of relationship despite One being older. Since in Korea technically you can't really refer to someone older than you as a friend.

Don't put too much thoughts into idol Instagram posts because chances are, those that are allowed to have their own account most likely have a separate/private one they use to interact with others.

Hmm maybe I'm seeing things. I was scrolling through some Instagram posts (airport pic of them coming and leaving the U.S this past few days) and thought he had gotten thinner. I also realized I don't think I've ever seen him in non-sneaker shoes on his own before. He wears dress shoes for "work" but on his own I think I've always only seen him in sneakers (same goes for Bobby too I think).

Yeah but hopefully with all the recent news YG will be forced to step aside and YGE will appoint a new head honcho to run things. But I feel with LS being such a monster hit last year, and them having such an active 2018, their potentially is limitless, especially seeing how fans responded to their recent US events. YGE would be stupid not to promote them well. On an unrelated topic, is it just me or B.I has gotten thinner? I mean he's always been lean but he seems to have gotten even thinner recently :(

Not 100% sure but I think most contracts are about 7 years. They debuted in 2015, so maybe 2022?

I really dislike the "who is gay/lesbian" threads. A person's sexuality is their own business, and should they choose to make it public knowledge, that's their choice, it's none of our business. All those chatter over-analyzing who may or may not be gay is really off-putting. ---- Crazy fan girls shipping idols together. All groups will at one time or another get the question " do you have a favorite girl/boy group, and who is your favorite member in that group". Once an answer is said, some fans will go into crazy inspector mode looking for the smallest "hints" of these two idols' romantic desire for one another. If they are actually interested in one another, great! Otherwise imagine how uncomfortable that is.

Seeing how unique each individuals were (talking about visuals only) when BTS first made their debut, I was surprised to see TXT members' photos because they almost look like one another and all falls under the standard textbook young flower boy image. Nothing bad about that again just surprised since their big brother group are so diverse in terms of looks.

Not exactly a random thought but I wonder with all the negative things coming out about Seungri and YG, how it will affect YG artists. Obviously the artists cannot, and should not be blamed for their colleague or boss’s actions; but we all know k-nets loves the whole guilty by association thing where if the boss is bad then every single person under that company is bad. BP is going on tour for a little but and winner’s come back isn’t til a little later right? Is B.I and Bobby the next one up? (I don’t want to read comments like “have YG artists no shame?)so I feel there’s a good chance their album may be delayed; know YG said Lee Hi but I believe it when I see it since he’s done crappy job promoting her. Also it would seem like YG’s new boy group is slated to debut this year.

Completely agree. Invasive surgeries tend to not age well and you end up having to have revision procedure, or additional procedure in order to keep up appearances, or you may not like what you see in the mirror. Especially if you've had surgery and you're also a frequent user of injections, you'd have to really diligent with your upkeep or you're going to look a little "off". I understand wanting to be beautiful, and a lot of girls consider their late teens to late 20's their most beautiful/youthful years so they want to take full advantage of that. Getting things done is ultimately a person choice, but life goes much beyond just your 20's, so maybe don't be in such a hurry to get so much done so soon.

There are so many groups going on tour out west, as someone who lives out west (the U.S. to be exact), I can appreciate the fact international fans will get a chance to see their favorites in concerts, or maybe even interact with them if there's a fan sign event or something; but it just seem like KPOP is literally everywhere these days and strangely I don't feel all that excited. Don't get me wrong, I love KPOP, I mean hello that's why I'm on OH hah, but it's on my fb timeline, it's in the comments on videos I watch (that has nothing to do with KPOP or Korean culture period, but there fans telling them to react to KPOP or try Korean food). It just seems the KPOP market is overly saturated these days it's not as enjoyable? for the lack of a better way to describe how I feel. But one thing that has kept me in still is the musics are still good.

People give Jennie too much credit for her style. The whole human Gucci thing was just weird. She's a pretty girl with a nice body, and never goes "outside the box" (aka take risks) with her style so it's not revolutionary she looks good in what she wears most of the time, and Gucci just happens to be one of the label she wears. Lately she wears a lot of Chanel and people are dubbing her as the Chanel girl. Diane Kruger is a Chanel girl, Kiera Knightley is a Chanel girl. Jennie is a girl who wears a lot of Chanel.
