  1. SuperM should star obviously. This is the perfect vehicle for SM to use.
  2. Hmmm here too the Abrahamic religious voting blocks objected, but thankfully the general younger generation is mostly supportive - so both court and government ignored them. I also do not understand why should governments wait for consensus on cases like this. If the general public is conservative and demands laws contrary to basic human right to life with dignity eg. blasphemy laws, should the government bend knee? The laws must be beneficial and give equality to citizens. Once the decision is taken, then slowly public consensus should be built.
  3. Yes, I considered that as an option. But, in light of SM's history I do feel worried when they do not give specifics, as in are they trying to surreptitiously put the guy in permanent hiatus or contract trouble? Like, feeling relief because at least this time they've given an update on him so he is still in the group.
  4. I pray they get a million-seller album, and cross 10 Million albums in total too!
  5. Nakago from Fushigi Yuugi - but I was too young to realise why was I so attracted to the villain. After being a teen, Sousuke Aizen, because intelligence, power and rebel-vibe together? I obviously couldn't resist.
  6. That is suspicious! Why won't they say, like - anxiety, stress fracture etc.? Anyway, whatever it is, I hope it isn't too serious and Jungwoo gets healthy again fast.
  7. No, I was the fan of WannaOne. My bringing up WO is to compare - X1 unlike Iz*One to IOI isn't an improvement on WO - they'll not be able to supplant SVT temporarily in the boygroup hierarchy like WO did. Wonyoung has public popularity, Sakura herself gained a huge fandom in China on top of the fandom she had in Japan. They aren't less compared to Somi or Sejeong. Compared to Niel or Jihoon, Yohan or Wooseok aren't as high. And, Chinese or not, it is obvious that Jun and Minghao do better in China compared to them. SVT cannot show the instant popularity of a Big3/Produce boygroup but they have been steadily rising. And among boygroups their digital charting is quite high - Home did do quite well. Also this year has been bad for all idol groups digitally. If SVT is only doing better due to album versions or collectibles, let's wait for the next album's performance? And it isn't that other top boygroups/girlgroups haven't had multiple versions or goodies in albums before. If multiple albums meant that the fandom size hadn't increased, would they be touring so much better though?
  8. Ooh! Excited and off to hear.
  9. The difference of hand size is really hot though! It was cute how Mark kept touching fingers. Gosh Jeno, Jaemin, Haechan are all grown-up now! Did Renjun show abs? (In my mind's eye, they still are stuck in Chewing-gum era adorableness though!)
  10. WannaOne was popular in China, but what was their level in Japan? Dome tour level? (I actually don't know, so I'm just asking.) SVT also just won two prestigious awards in China. And WO badly flopped in US touring, so I suppose I-fandom level is something we can disagree upon. SVT has Minghao and Junhui, who have much greater popularity than Yohan or Wooseok. Yohan or Wooseok are not Niel's level in SK even, and with the rigging scandal I don't think they'll make WO's impact either. SVT are from Pledis i.e. a company which was on the verge of tanking, and like BTS took a longer time to build up their fandom than a group from Produce who basically debut with Big3-like readymade fandom. Now that there's Ode to compare, let's wait to see how X1's next album performs?
  11. I hope there is at least some discussion on civil union? What is the legal stance on homosexuality? Is it decriminalised? (My country's government just recently allowed decriminalisation because until now we had the British penal provision for locking up gays). Hmm, but what I meant was Seungyoun has seriously pinged my radar since Uniq days, and Vernon has at least been clear about being an ally (https://www.newsweek.com/vernon-seventeen-svt-lgbtq-1448100) and I think Kino is outright gay. I just want some discussion on whether their friend group is based on queer identity and if so, in what ways.
  12. Oh wow! Those hands seem pretty large, so is that Lucas? Also, who is that in your sig?
  13. I don't think X1 would have matched to SVT's relevance in Japan, China or SEA. Does X1 have a Guanlin or Niel? SVT also has a sizeable I-fandom, with touring power in quite a few countries.
  14. I feel like Seungyoun (Uniq), Kino (Pentagon), Vernon (Seventeen) being close friends is kind of a LGBT or at least ally group. All three seem possible to me. What do you guys think?
  15. Junior boygroup to Infinite. Has Infinite Sungyeol's brother Daeyeol in it? NCT Mark or GOT7 Mark? Mark Lee does seem bi-curious at least. Or since he grew up around so many guys like Taeyong/Ten/Jaemin and being followed around by Donghyuck he imbibed the behaviour? (Since you're from the exact same background, would you elucidate a bit more on what seems familiar to you?) Mark Tuan could be straight, since he had that rumoured streamer girlfriend?
  16. I hope all the members get released from contract, get paid in full, TS shuts down and some new law is brought in to stop this widespread abuse of trainees/idols by unscrupulous companies.
