Newer acts got to learn from predecessors failure to launch. Newer acts also benefit from the evolution of communications technology. imo BoA success in Japan and failed attempt in the US inspired others to dream big and learn from her mistakes. TVXQ and WG in Japan and US showed that you need to hustle hard with divided results. BB showed a more global friendly sound could be taken more seriously even further abroad and showed the beginnings of the power of social media where the got some European music award. BTS the group, BH and ARMYs got to take all those lessons from above and by hard work and luck have achieved things I don’t think anyone could have thought were realistic. Lots will benefit from BTS and their success but only time will show who can take things to new heights if at all.

Oh where did you see them teasing new music? Just checked out their IG and seems like they’ve all had selfies in a bathroom. Don’t know how to post it here but could that be their dorm? If it looks like a nice place.

Harmonies is probably the only thing about sm that I like. That said there no point having a group is you’re not going max out harmonies, better off listening to a solo artist.

I’d love to see different concepts as long as they don’t do a cute concept where it’s all aegyo and whiney and pitchy to listen to. I’d love to hear them do ballads like SNSD All my love is for you since aespa seems to be a vocally strong group with each member having their own colour. I’m excited thinking about the layering of voices and harmonies they’ll do in the future. I’m even open to them being SMs version of mamamoo if they do have the vocals do so.

factory denim off cuts. BoA's Eat You Up was ahead of it's time. Kinda wished they had given her a few more singles/attempts at the market. She actually had a whole album in English and not just an English version of 2-4 songs.

I’d hate to see extra members that then leads to some dumb luck that every member gets more than half a line in each song. I don’t expect them to become professional youtubers or tictokers for more content. I’d be happy with another 1-3 songs and a behind the scenes for black mamba and maybe something extra that’s longer than a tictok video. This would allow me to see more of what each member brings to the table and also something for individual personalities and group dynamic. This would last me for several months. I know this would last a few months better than just one song. this route probably also isn’t too difficult to manage with COVID going on in the background. Haven’t followed promotion cycles of groups this year to see how they’ve handled it.

I’m already craving for more content as it is now. A lack of media content probably played a role in me loosing interest in RV. Hopefully if they remain as four members only who are all over 18 and have no restrictions with working hours allowed we won’t have to wait over 6 months for a mini album.

Didn’t think I’d get enticed by yet another am group but here I’m am loving black mamba. Also not gonna lie that Giselle and her predebut clips and pics have contributed too. Divided about potential additional members. Fine with NCT and most of the units but late edition of yeri killed it for me with RV. For me the difference was just being upfront about what they were doing versus being blindsided.

Lockdown starting to get me down and realised I should have started to play Become Undone, 1000 years, Run With Me and Keeping Love Again earlier since they've had a healing effect in the past.

I didn't think I'd be getting into anymore new groups and this debut comes along. It is the most solid one I can think of in a long time where there are no filler songs that a varied but still cohesive. Also one of the more balanced line distributions for the whole album for a nine member group.

Or Apple Music or iTunes. Those two albums have some of their greatest songs.

The nostalgia with some of Shakira’s songs also made me question why I hadn’t kept up with her since she’s clearly an amazing performer with loads of good songs.

I like hip and the overall vibe of their album. is there a full list of song and lyric writing credits? I don’t follow this thread religiously.
