    spoiler-unrelated EP3 thoughts What's up with the mentor vs mentor team thing? Way too much of the mentors talking. It kinda detracts from the show imo; I'm not here for the mentors. (I say this but also did Yibo's 天天å‘上 clash with the episode filming or smth? His presence is sorely missed :P) Did the 腾讯 editing crew just give up on the episode or what? Chinese subtitles suddenly stopped appearing about halfway into the episode. RIP english subbers if they don't get added back it; it's pretty hard to identify who's talking from voice alone. EDIT: also the volume mixing on the episode is.... iffy. Episode feels like it got rushed out.

    Even this extended cut is missing stuff (it's really jarring to me that the very first teaser clip shows YiBo going "crying can't solve anything" but the scene isn't actually in the episode. Unless I missed it? I'm guessing it should be when he was evaluating the dance progress of one of the ranks)

    Was busy with work so couldn't catch it live, but congrats to the final 9 Now that 3/7 of YH is in, I actually feel obligied to the follow the group pretty closely dammit Personally agree with a lot of what Zenist is saying, but at this point all one can do is support those you want to support and ignore the others. The trainees' reactions to certain trainees/companies in the introductory EPs mostly came true after all. I really hope that the trainees who had their debut dangling oh-so-close to them don't get too discouraged. They've made it this far, after all. -- Obligatory: YH debut when?

    Thanks for the insight! Yeah now that I think about it; her ambitious statements are probably linked to the fact that they want to IPO. mildly OT: I haven't started following PD101.CN closely yet, but the few times I ventured into its OH I've been rather impressed by the videos of the trainees. Hopefully they won't disappoint

    The part I don't understand about this interview "YH will probably push out 3 groups this year, and thereafter essentially put out (groups) onto the market according to a tempo of 'one male group, one female group' every year" Whatever she's smoking, I want some of it. Most Cfans think she's talking nonsense. EDIT2: I hope what she means is that they'll start hyping the IP7, the YHBoys & unknown girlgroup this year and the actual debuts will be spaced a year apart from each other with altenating genders. And not what she's literally saying. Because 3 groups in 2018 + 1 new group every year after is nuts, even if one takes into account that yes YH does have some kind of branch in KR. Also, article states that YH is also trying to go for IPO, not sure how I feel about that... EDIT: Thanks for sharing the link btw, I saw a thread on Tieba about this interview the day before, but couldn't find a link to the actual article so didn't post anything on OH.
