Like you expressed your opinion, I expressed my own. None of what I said was done to drag you but merely to provide a general comment that included a response to your post - whether this was received well is up to your interpretation, similar to how people in the thread had their own interpretation of your original post. Personally, I don't believe your post was based out of hate or being irrational, you're probably just as concerned as the rest of us.

 

However, my personal issue/ concern with what you wrote was that you want Taeyeon to censor herself more so, when it's pretty evident she's already doing so. I understand your POV because we all know Taeyeon is sensitive however she's also shown she's capable of withstanding the hate and that she is a grown woman living her life. Unfortunately, hate will continue to thrive because people will draw whatever conclusions and make up whatever FF stories to suit their own agenda. So regardless of what Taeyeon posts - netizens will continue to be mean. Therefore, what I was saying is its better for us to support Taeyeon through it all by respecting the fact its her life, her IG and ultimately herself who is affected the most. 2015 is an important year for SNSD x Taeyeon x Sones but I think it would be far more enjoyable if Taeyeon lived it being who she is and knowing that regardless of the hate, her fans understand and support her. I suppose this will be dependant on what we all see her doing this year and where we want her to end up.

 

Anyways, the main part of my post that was a response to your post was noting that the hashtag she used wasn't actually related to Bacon so Taeyeon being too real shouldn't be a concern at the moment. But ultimately, I was commenting on the content within your post and in no way was trying to drag you - this forum is actually pretty cool with discussions etc, so in no way do we want to scare you away.

Dropping by to say that in regards to Taeyeon's latest post, I just wanted to say that I really dislike it when we try and dictate what she can and can't say on her personal IG. It's already gotten to the point where she's so careful about even being personal with us out of fear of rejection or 'No, you can't do that' , 'That must have something to do with Baekhyun' or 'She's just deceiving us' etc. Taeyeon may be strong but she's also really sensitive to Sone thoughts and comments (cue her recent comment about reading the comment section of her IG). 

 

Now netizens - bitter fangirls - are already on her ass for anything, so why can't we fans just try and be there for her instead of trying to control her actions? Taeyeon isn't perfect - but she's perfectly human. I wish everyone could understand this and respect her right to grow up and make mistakes, be able to express herself without fear of condemnation or misinterpretation and to support her fragile dream of just wanting to sing. We will never be able to stop the hate - unfortunately with mass love, jealously and hate will tend to follow - but what we can do is support her through it.

 

It doesn't mean that we condone any act or behaviour but it means we respect Kim Taeyeon - both the idol and human side -  and her right to live her life. To be honest for any of us  -who stand firm in our love for our bias - what we want is to know we are an important part of her life. Based off the past 7 years and Taeyeon's endless efforts to convey her gratitude and love, it is kinda ridiculous to even ask. For Taengangers x Taeyeon and for Sone x SNSD, this relationship has always been a two-way street. In our case, Taeyeon has always tried to express her gratitude and love with little things and comments throughout the years - for example defending us on TV, giving us food during schedule break time, making an IG for international fans, singing to us on Youtube, talking about her fear of losing us on TV etc.  It's obvious that the love is mutual.

 

On a side note, the hastag that people seem to have a problem with #탱화백 = Painter Taeng. The hashtag has nothing to do with Baekhyun lol so please for the love of all thats Kim Taeyeon, ask someone who knows korean to translate her posts before you draw your own conclusions.

 

 

 

     

 

   

 

I've said this countless times since we first got a sneak look into this photoshoot but OMGF <3 I love the whole concept, I love all the pictures, I love Taeyeon lol 

 

On another note just how on point with their photoshoots of Taeyeon are High Cut? I get slayed every single time    

 

I was expecting an answer like this. "Taeyeon defines friends differently... Her other friends understand..." Maybe this is true, and if it is, I don't agree with Taeyeon doing this. Both Taeyeon and Heechul have stated they have a deep understanding with each other. Kangin was with her everyday(?) for a year on their radio show.

 

Even if some of her other friends understand why she does it, it still must hurt to not be acknowledged. Especially to those that don't understand.

And back onto the topic, I guess it's easy as outsider observers to be upset over the unacknowledged friends but ultimately if they are close to Taeyeon they must also know why she gives such answers. Furthermore these individuals know her backstory and not just what we as the public gleen from select moments we see given to us by the girls and by the media.

 

For example I have recently met a friend who has been hurt too many times to count by people she has trusted wholeheartedly eg supposed friends, ex-boyfriends, family etc. As a result, in a short time I have grown very protective over her and am well aware that I have yet to make her shortlist of people whom she considers friends. These lucky people she has known for a very long time. This however doesn't change the fact that I have chosen to consider her as MY friend.

 

For me I make friends easily but she doesn't. Do I hope to be considered by her as a friend: yes. Am I upset that I have yet to be defined as such: no.

 

Why? Because  I understand why and also because although I may not be on the her shortlist I am well on my way to it. We hang out together, I get invited to places etc. Small steps people and patience is a virtue.

 

Now back to Taeyeon - Heechul, Kangin and Amber probably have insight into Taengoo's why and accept it. They must also be aware that they are the closest to her outside SNSD which I would consider quite a success. I mean Taeyeon has known Soshi girls for 7-10 years, whereas the others for a lot shorter time plus not as well. I know you mentioned that Heechul said they have a deep understanding of each other and Kangin hosted a radio show with her for a year, but to me the fact that they are in her outer friendship circle goes to show Taeyeon acknowledging and valuing their relationships. 

 

Yes she may refer to SNSD as her only friends, but this is by what she defines friends as. As I noted earlier everyone has different definitions of friends, family etc. It doesn't mean that she doesn't value those in her outer friendship group though. It just means her definition of a friend is different.

Firstly before I talk on this I think its important to note that for everyone, what defines a friend is different.

 

For Taeyeon, I believe the term 'friend' isn't given lightly and only to those who know her - all of her - both the idol and the human aspects. It's not a surprise when we consider how introverted and emotionally invested she is into things that are important to her like singing. I believe Taeyeon refers to SNSD as her only friends because they hold big parts of her heart and understand and value those pieces. They have also (based off the fact she still calls them her only friends) kept and protected that side of Taeyeon - I mean for the past 7-10 years SNSD have literally been there for her through her ups and downs and live the same crazy lifestyle. 

 

Whereas for people who know her outside.... I remember several interviews the girls did back in the Chin Chin radio days where they ultimately said, 'Unless your Soshi, you don't know'. Taeyeon has mentioned several times that even when talking to close seniors about the struggles she goes through, they don't seem to understand and say 'but your SNSD'. It seems to me that for Taeyeon the only ones who seem to want to hear her struggles is SNSD, the ones who understand what she is going through and can relate to it is SNSD and ultimately the ones who care the most for her and whom she cares the most for is SNSD. Not going to pull out receipts but we all know how much Taeyeon loves SNSD and Sones therefore it makes sense that Taeyeon considers SNSD her only 'friends'.

 

At the end of the day, no one who is in her outer friendship groups has ever NOT spoken well of her (i.e. Heechul, Kangin and Amber) whom all come across as people who are extremely protective over the little pieces of her heart they hold a place in. The fact these outer friendships have been made and kept for years gives hope that one day they will make it to her shortlist (lol) but really, I assume they have real insight into why Taeyeon only mentions SNSD when asked such questions. I also assume they are fine with this because they continue to pop up in her life.

 

But really though, as a Taeyeon stan who knows my bias has a lot of emotional scars, I want her to protect her heart by continuing to choose who she lets into her life carefully.

Does anybody else have trouble finding this thread via the tags? I usually access here via my follow list but I have realised recently that I can't find this thread via the 'Taeyeon' or 'SNSD' tags. I don't want to defend but you should view the topic in different side.

Many Baekhyun's fans (and I think TaeYeon's fans too) don't care about the dating. The problem is they were bashed because of it. Just thinking, TaeYeon is one of most popular member but now she gets bashed everywhere. Baekhyun used to be one of the member who has most fans too. TaeYeon is established and popular idol but not BaekHyun. He has long way to go.

All they want are

1. The scandal die down.

2. Their relationship is serious. If not, break up please. 

 

I don't see any people I know talk about Kang Dong Won or other guys but with Chen, he is EXO's member. They think she should be more careful. (I don't read her IG comments so I don't know what happen there. All B's fans I know didn't say anything when she post Chen picture but long time after that.)

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways on another note I do pray that they come out stronger from this and make decisions for their relationship based off what they themselves want as opposed to being influenced by all this negativity.

We actually did a last attempt because Onstyle mentioned the possibility of  a 'Only U' MV and to be honest there are 10 Bonsang awards not including the Daesang so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

 

Most important to note for everyone before they question the award is that fan votes were not the only deciding factor.

 

Awards based on:

30% voting

30% 100 person committee consisting of stylists, photographers and creative directors

40% research/ surveys

 

The only thing I will say I am surprised about is the fact that JS didn't win one as well.

 

In saying that, considering SIA = MNET = no attendance means no award - I am not surprised.

I really enjoyed todays episode of The TTS - it was really cute to see each member with friends from outside soshi. I really felt that love and thankfulness that Taeyeon and Heechul place on their relationship    . Gosh it was just too cute <3

idk.. maybe you all will feel different from me watching the fan cam, but as a fan i found it very disappointing. and its not like im a new fan, ive been following them probably longer than more of you. i know taeyeons style and i've never been bothered by it before.  And I've been to IU concerts before where she sings really sad ballads and she still manages to engage the audience and seem like she wants to be there.... Regardless, I realize it was kind of assholish of me to come to the SNSD thread and rant about taeyeon, especially in light of all things coming up and everyone blaming taeyeon.. but i just wanted to post about my experience and this has nothing to do with the jessica scandal. my point is,  Theres a difference between the feeling during a ballad and staring at the floor.. but i dont think you can really sense it as well in the fan cam. We waited 2 hours to see them and sat through so many shitty nugus, only to find taeyeon looking like she'd rather be any place but there. my friends and i all felt so awkward and disappointed afterwards. Anyways. i dont want to argue or upset people anymore, that wasnt my intention. I will take my disappointment and leave~ i hope if you guys get to see or have seen snsd it was or will be a better experience than i had today

 

 

 

i also think some people should learn to admit when their fave is in the wrong.. and just move on from it rather than come up with every excuse under the boat to explain their behavior..

 

 

I have a couple problems with your statement:

 

1. 'I've been to IU concerts'

 

Firstly its not justifiable to compare the stage manners of two completely different singers (IU is a soloist and Taeyeon is an idol in a group). You can't expect one to be the same as the other.

 

Personally I've seen Beyonce, Kanye, One Direction, Kylie, Joss Stone, SJ, Big Bang etc. All have different ways of performing and it would be naive of me to think that what one excels at the other must do the same otherwise they're just not 'wanting to be there'. Every performer has a different way of interacting with their fans as well.

 

The comparison's you made between the girls is also something that I have an issue with. All the nine girls stage presence is different, the stage performance is different, the way they feel songs is different and the way they interact with fans is different. Judging a member based on what they're NOT doing in comparison to another member is far fetched.

 

2. 'Difference between feeling the ballad and looking at the floor'

 

Okay I may come off as attacking you, I'm going to own up to that, but really look at the most recent TTS Sketchbook performance or even their showcase and you will see Taeyeon does ballads by mostly closing her eyes, glancing down or if at most looking at the other members. That is the way she sings and it shouldn't be something you judge on a personal viewpoint or comparison between the way the members all 'feel' the ballad. Some stare at you and some look at anywhere but at you - that is the way it is.

 

3. 'admit when faves are wrong... move on... rather than coming up with excuses'

 

We don't have a problem admitting when we're wrong - most of the time - but do not present a fan account with minimal and lacking evidence and expect us to believe it when photos taken and fancams all suggest otherwise. We understand your viewpoint but honestly focusing on minute details of the way certain members perform is a bit naive.

 

Anyways let's put an end to this discussion please. I'm sorry that the experience you expected wasn't what you had.

okay my bad yall!! my university called it a TTS concert so i just said that but it was like.. idk this weird concert thingy. they have it weeky and people like nuest or orange caramel usually headline but today was TTS. 

 

 

we had great great seats!! so i was really close to the stage. probably closest to them i'll ever get to be ever. so i actually saw SNSD back in 2012.. but.. tbh they were sooo disappointing today. mainly because of taeyeon. i felt bad because her mic wasnt working but she was seriously... she didnt even smile once. They sang Whisper, then Only You, then holler. during the other girls parts of only u, she literally just stared at the ground or closed her eyes. She seemed actually angry she had to be there. Seohyun was alright, honestly i was kind of dissapointed by her. but i'll give her some slack, i know theyre probably busy and this event thing was really low budget, but to be honest almost the whole crowd was there just for them so you know it would have been nice for them to try a bit harder. the tickets were expensive (for everyone except my school)

 

i have to say, tiffany was great!!!! she BY FAR out danced them. she was killing me during whisper, she tried so hard!! even though theres barely any dancing. She was so into the body waves. She was smiling and giggling a little bit too throughout the whole thing. She also did pretty much all of the talking. She was so extra on the high notes but it was nice to see some effort as opposed to pissed off taeyeon who seemed like it was a burden for her to be there. 

 

 

you guys might not think its a big deal watching fan cams or whatever, but when someone acts like that, especially when theres only three members, it completely kills the mood and the performance when you're watching live. and all kinds of nugus performed before them and really tried their hardest, so it just makes her look so bad. I understand tehyre going through a huge controversy right now, but i wouldn't make a big deal out of this if it was just some little thing. she sang fine but.. idk.. its like your fucking job, at least act like you want to be there. i'm sure ANY of the nugus would pay to be in her place.. idk... it was just super off putting for me....

 

 

tldr TTS was alright. Seo was okay, Tiffany was great, Taeyeon sucked the life of the performance. overall, dissapointed... I've seen tons and tons of idols perform and i've never seen anyone act as shitty as taeyeon did today.

 

Receipts please because from all the photos I have seen there has been half serious and half smiling so..... its kinda at odds with your statement.

 

I'm not saying that you don't have the right to rant, but what I am saying is Taeyeon during ballads = taeyeon very serious and closed eyes i.e. practically never staring at the audience. No idea why but that's just her style (This coming from a fan since 07).

 

Also I've seen a couple fancams already and it just looks like her usual self - fun and happy in holler and very serious in the ballad songs - so I think you may be focusing to much on a certain aspect of the way she performs to influence your entire experience.

 

Anyways to everyone else sit your asses down and wait for the fancams before you jump on to the over-crowded Taeyeon hate boat.

Whatever may come, will come but it was never going to be easy.

Because ultimately we've survived the fiasco of the past 4 months so I know we will be able to survive this - even if it may be our toughest battle not only as Taeyeon fans but as Sones.

 

 

In regards to the hate f*k it!

At least this way we see the true colours of those in our fandom. 

So stay strong because SNSD and especially our Tae baby needs the support with all the s* that is constantly thrown her way.

 

 

Love is seeing the first tear, catching the second and stopping the third.

 

 

So trust and protect our baby, trust in what we believe and ultimately trust in what we have seen and learnt throughout the past 7 years <3

Just coming in to say I am absolutely disgusted with:

1. the amount of individuals who are not Sones offering their two cents; and

2. the amount of venting and figure pointing so called Sones are doing on IG, Twitter, in news articles etc.

It hurts like hell what is happening to our girls and honestly I am beyond hurting - but never as a Sone would I ever believe in taking a side.

For christ sake being a Sone is all about OT9 - supporting the group as well as EACH member is the role description.

Be disappointed, be hurt but give them all equal opportunity to speak before you start to cast stones.

No one knows the full story other than OT9 and for now we are only getting one perspective + SM's stance.

 

Wait it out and believe; if not for yourself as a Sone but for the girls we all either did/do believe because at the end of the day the ones who suffer the most are the ones directly involved.
 

Just want to leave this here - this is my stance after some very heavy thinking:

 

Until the end of time I will stay loyal to SNSD - no matter what anyone says they gave me 7 years of happiness - and for that they deserve to be treated with respect and given the right to each say their part before any shading or finger pointing.

 

I will say I am disappointed with the way things played out - it should have been kept private until all details were sorted, all avenues of mediation were exhausted; but it is what it is and I hope all Sone can have the decency to not s* on what has truly been an amazing run for the girls.

 

Soshibond was and is REAL; there wouldn't be such a emotional response if the girls weren't all invested. All we can hope is that the hurt on both sides will ease, that forgiveness is given and that friendships will remain intact.

 

Ultimately I will wish Jessica the best with Blanc and her future endeavours because I will always love her for giving me 7 years. I will also continue to support ot8 because at the end of the day no one knows how hard it was for each and every one of them - SNSD is their brand, their life, their image.

 

Whatever pursuits, whatever decisions, whatever comes, SNSD in our minds will always be OT9. Give the girls the respect they deserve to resolve the issue but also support their decisions because at the end of the day they are the ones most affected - even if we are all hurting like hell.

Other than that I agree with

 

 

Okay here is the explanation of the music video how I understood it:

 

The girl you see wearing the sunglasses and trench coat in the beginning represents Sone (i'll call her that for the rest of this post). The girl that runs to go and bring over her husband and kid represents SNSD. This scene is all happening in the future (I'll explain this later)

 

Then the majority of the mv is a flashback to high school. Sone becomes acquainted with SNSD through the school play - which can represent SNSD performing music. It becomes clear that Sone develops an interest for one of the members of the play - like picking a bias in the group. So then everything seems to be going pretty well until Sone discovers that SNSD is romantically involved with the teacher. This would obviously be a scandal in high school and they use this scene to represent all the dating scandals that were revealed. Sone feels really hurt and betrayed by this, but the show still goes on.

 

Now flash forward back to the future. SNSD is showing Sone her husband and kid and is sharing with her how happy she is. This represents how SNSD want to be able to share with us their happiness, like getting married and having kids.

 

Of course this is just my opinion! I don't understand Japanese so this is based off of the lyrics to the song and the visuals of the mv! The dialog between the characters could justify or go against my theory, but I'm not sure what was said LOL. But basically, SNSD told us through this mv that as time goes on, they are going to move onto different things just as we will and that one day they hope to be able to meet again and share their happiness with us because just as they are important to us, we are important to them.

This perspective supports what Tiffany was trying to say in that MV explanation.

 

The only thing I would change would be if the person SNSD had fallen fall had been a fellow student.

 

Does anyone else still not understand.... I am hoping the other versions are better suited because frankly that Storyline is confusing as heck

'Off topic: 

- Does anyone know it The TaeTiSeo Onstyle show will only be mainly focus on their comeback (preparations, filming, practice, etc) for the whole episodes? Because I realize, it is completely different from JungSis Show; which show most of their relationship, they being at home most of the time, they went to cafe, talked more about their personal heart etc.

-Of may be because it has only been 4 episodes for TTS. May be I should wait more. Because it is nice to see their hard work for the comeback, but for me, it is kind of boring.

The whole concept was to focus around them as a subunit and give insight into their fashion, lifestyle etc without delving too much into the personal. It is also only for 6 episodes so I doubt we will get to see much into their personal life but there will probably be a more laid-back take to the last two episodes.

There is a Music Core special tonight where various artists are performing at Incheon Airport Sky Festival for a Music Core Special.

 

Not too sure what this means in terms of whether they announce a winner though.
