I'm actually kind of optimistic about Yixing getting a teaser, since there are 9 songs beside the title track... It'd be a bit weird if there was only one song not being teased.... I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment again lmao.

I'm starting to think the order for the songs/members is completly random. Unless a smart detective-Eri finds out some mindblowing theory about it, I'll just believe SM's planning team is throwing these at us by making the members play rock-paper-scissors. Neither of the titles sound very related to Baekhyun's superpower, but who knows, maybe they threw in smth like 'you're my light' in the lyrics to make some sort of connection lol.

If there is one, then it's most likely gonna be Bad Dream. That sounds like THE angsty song of the album, from both titles, English and Korean. Damage also sounds angsty, but an angsty bop lol. I personally want She's Dreaming 2.0 (someone's gotta continue the great tradition of EXO's dreamy RnB songs) and Playboy/My Lady 2.0 (the top EXO sexy jams).

Guessing from the titles of the songs, Smile On My Face and With You sound like they're gonna be the soft ones. Damage and Bad Dream sound angsty. 24/7 could be anything, from the softest piece of fluff to the sexiest jam. I have no idea about Sign tho (maybe the RnB track we deserve?). We already know what Tempo, Ooh La La and Gravity sound like (kinda), and that Oasis will be The Eve 2.0 (thank you, Marz). I think I'm gonna like the soft ones (I always do) and Bad Dream, but oh well, I might be wrong. Idk if this has been mentioned (if it has, sorry for repeating) or if anyone's interested, but, for the Korean titles, With You's means 'sometimes', Bad Dream's refers to the aftermath of a storm (the negative phase), Smile On My Face's is 'i'll be here', Oasis' is... well, oasis. Ooh La La's kinda depends on the context, but it could translate to 'the moment we touch'? A more literal translation would be the moment (something) reaches (another something). So, I guess the whole superpower thing could still be true. I can see how the Korean title could be related to teleportation. The ones that sound more obvious, if the superpower thing is legit, would be Jongdae - Bad Dream, as someone has already mentioned, and Junmyeon - Oasis. Maybe Sehun could be Bad Dream too? And Damage could be either Jongdae or Chanyeol? Idk.

So far, I'm enjoying the snippets of the songs we got more than the ones from The War. Kyungsoo and Jongin look amazing. I'm positive I'm gonna love this comeback. I actually really like the retro pop sound they're aiming for (hopefully, not too much EDM lol); still hoping for some R&B tho.

I'm hoping it is, since we have a month left and that's usually when comebacks should be announced lol. And the logo looks amazing, the whole motorcycle thing turned out to be legit! I'm really excited about this possibility of following up the comic, maybe we'll be seeing Sehun in his full Dokgo Rewind action glory. Tbh I really want them to have two M/Vs, because I love split concepts and it's not very likely we'll much after this. I just hope SM takes care of this comeback, I feel like a mother with her unborn child or smth, we've been waiting and suffering for so long.

On a more positive note, this will be a relatively good comeback for EXO's hairs. Jongin's mullet actually looks good, Jongdae's hair didn't get unnecessarily cut off, Chanyeol, Sehun, Baekhyun and Junmyeon's colors are pretty... And I'm crying over Kyungsoo actually having a good amount of hair after 3284793 years. The only one I'm upset about is Minseok, but I think the main problem is how they styled it and not how it's cut (at least he doesn't have a useless mullet and no bangs, like poor Jongdae in Blooming Days), so I'll just hope the stylists realize it's a terrible idea and make it look more appealing (they can't leech off his beautiful face forever), or at least make him wear that adorable beret more often. His hair during KoKoBop was so perfect *dreamy sigh*... When I said I wanted dark-haired Minseok again, this was NOT what I meant. I really hope the comeback happening to be in fall (we hope) means we'll get to see the more classy side of EXO again, a la EXODUS. The War was great and fun, but I want to see them rocking some R&B jams, they owe us that much after having deprived us of Kyungsoo's heavenly vocals for such a long time. I can only hope this whole Pathcode madness actually means something, I don't want to get excited over smth that will not happen (ofc I will eat up anything they put out, I'm that whipped). And I'm praying that this long wait means they will deliver smth on a completly different scale of greatness. We deserve that much after having been put through this long and tortuous suffering.

There go my hopes of all the members actually having good hair this comeback... And thinking I was feeling better about Jongin's mullet after seeing his glorious pics, and about Kyungsoo having grown his hair so much.

They always make sure to do at least one member dirty. Poor Minseok, I don't understand the need of puffing his hair so much. Do they geuinely think it will make him look more attractive?? It's only because it's Minseok that it doesn't look completly terrible.

I actually believe SM is meaning to skip the award shows. The earliest EXO will comeback would be veeeeeery late October (which is looking very unlikely already) and that would already mean skipping MMA and MAMA, for example (correct me if I'm wrong). Good news is we won't have to go through more drama this year, we'll have to wait 'til next year for that lol. I'm not really aware of their schedule, but if they have festivals until early November, I'm guessing they will comeback after that. It wouldn't make sense if they came back and then CBX randomly went to a festival by themselves. Maybe Taeyeon for the first few days of November, RV next week and then EXO? Wouldn't surprise me. I agree that EXO should've comeback in September. There was only that SNSD single (with two songs) and SHINee's compilation album, which only had like one new song. And ofc the stations, but they don't really count. They could have used Baekhyun and Chanhun's releases to hype up the comeback (esp since Young did so well). The latter half of September is so empty af, that it's making me believe THAT was when EXO was supposed to comeback... It would make sense in the timeline. They wouldn't overlap with Yixing or NCT (or anyone else for that matter). Another month wasted by SM (disappointed but not surprised). I actually think SM is planning to not promote EXO in China anyway (not like they can), so that they can make space for NCT China. There's a possibility there won't be a Chinese version anyway. Unless Minseok's PhD business worked out, I don't even think there will be a repack and, if it will, it would be without him (and SM doesn't seem to have ANY intention of promoting EXO as a group after that).

There's no other explanation for this secretiveness other than SM themselves have no idea of when they want EXO to comeback and are going back and forth with the three remaining months... Either that or they're being bitches and want us to suffer (which doesn't seem unlikely). SM could have at least announced the month or smth, not leave us hanging and crying over the incorrect timeline. It's been months of them saying 'soon', and I'm starting to believe that's an actual spoiler of the comeback, because November or late October is nowhere near 'soon'. The sad thing is that I'm 90% sure of when every remaining SM act will comeback. Yuri, SJ and NCT are confirmed for October, and Taeyeon will most likely go in November, bc there's already an SNSD member solo release next month. RV are after Taeyeon, so they will also probably be in November. NCT China is kind of irrelevant for us, but I'm guessing sometime in early December. But SM skipping EXO from their supposed turn and not saying anything other than M/V announcement is making me imagine the wildest scenarios. Suddenly, the whole January 1st is starting to seem less and less impossible... Also guys, I figured it out. SM actually made a typo when they were making that timeline and meant to write Yuri, but wrote EXO before NCT 127. Suddenly, everything makes sense.

It was pretty much the only thing we got in months... I was hoping things would speed up from there, more announcements, some rumours, some details... It's already been over two weeks and nothing EXO, come through with the spoilers for the v live!!!
