i was gonna reply to your previous post but this bolded section will work: as you said, korea is NOT open-minded. however, you can't change who you're attracted to just because society tells you that you have to. just because he SAYS "girlfriend" on TV doesn't mean it's actually a girl. i live in asia and i used to refer to my (now ex-)boyfriend as "my girlfriend" when talking with coworkers and random people i didn't know (i was extra lucky because he was a nurse, which most people assume are girls anyway). i also had a close friend of mine vouch for my "girlfriend" despite knowing the truth (she even made up a girl name for my boyfriend that we used when drinking with coworkers). now, i DO agree with you that there isn't really much in the way of evidence, and i'm pretty sure that bit about him being seen in gay areas is not true (i have never heard of it either despite being a long-time inspirit) -- but i wouldn't say he's necessarily straight just because the word "girlfriend" was used. i do believe, one way or the other, that he had a very bad breakup (it affected him for months and months and his whole TV/stage persona shifted). i just couldn't tell you with any certainty whether it was with a girl or boy.

aaanyway, finally watched that taemin video. shit is gay AF. i wasn't sure if he was gay or straight or bi or whatever -- i noticed recently he seemed to be enjoying showing off his body to fans through concerts and MVs and whatnot, and before that there was that time when he played along with gay jonghyun in that gay sex duet, but it wasn't until this video that i could really pin down any particular gay sensibilities with taemin himself. BUT DAMN. i mean a huge part of that is SM creative teams but there's just so much ... honestly that was everything. i usually try to stay conservative with my perspective on LGBT members of groups but i am pretty convinced with taemin now and already had no doubts about jonghyun and key being LGBT. which makes at least 3/5 i believe aren't straight.
