minhyuk (btob) moment on weekly idol: skip to 15:40 to be fair, he was trying to play a super aloof and non-committal persona the whole episode. but still, it's quite dismissive. especially when you realize that minhyuk is also really high on the poll of gay korean men's favorite male idols. now, i don't really think he is particularly "gay" and he doesn't really give off many vibes to be, but... going along with the other video above where kyungsoo is also very "...as long as you like it, it's good." this may be a stretch, but do you think that maybe they or their companies are aware of their large gay following and are thus just playing to their strengths in that way? also: i never noticed how very handsome and cute ilhoon is. i think it was the awful haircut and styling they gave him before.

what's going on at USJ? a LOVE&GIRLS flashmob? omg, this one is the most amazing. so gorgeous and sweet.

SMH.' i actually don't expect LOVE&GIRLS to sell very well at all, either. esp after Flower Power and it's whatever sales and horrid lack of any sort of promotions. and i haven't heard any news of them actively promoting LOVE&GIRLS outside of... their concert tour, which isn't exactly 'promotion' when 95% of the people that will see it are already fans who will buy it.

it must be that he points his feet and/or knees together a lot. i don't know if it has much significance in the western world (i think pointing feet inward or outward is vaguely considered "incorrect," but doesn't have much more meaning than that), but in at least japan and korea it's super feminine. like... just look at any anime with female characters in it (idk any that don't). chances are, at least one of them will be advertised as "the cute one" and point her legs together. (also, many strong, "masculinely" written female characters will still have moments where they blush or become shy and turn their legs inward) it's just part of body language there. examples of what it looks like: I TOLD YOU it's such a trap

i made an IGAB-inspired shirt design in animal crossing today because i wanted to try out designing stuff. the back of the shirt is what you see on the stand next to me.

i wanted to make a pro design but i couldn't think of anything... then i decided to make this: an IGAB tank. i made a sleeved version, too, but it's SUMMER and it's the same exact thing only it has sleeves (which are blue). the back is the little IGAB soshi logo with the leaf/wings (which you can see on the stand next to me) i was gonna QR Code it, but i realized i have to unlock that ability :v.

who knows. they probably aren't, but they way they ACT sometimes is pretty gay :P doesn't mean they are, though

just watched 100% on weekly idol... i have to officially retire my gaydar. it died and i don't think it will ever work again... i'm not even talking about the weird candy kissing parts. rokhyun's gestures when he's talking about his aegyo, chanyong when he's talking about the stares he gets (something about the confidence seems like "yeah bitches you ain't gettin dis"), hyunsik's everything... and just the general gestures and the way they speak (which has always kind of set me off with rokhyun and hyunsik). not to mention the MCs themselves. i have watched many weekly idol episodes and they are always saying "oh damn, too bad it's not a girlgroup" but then they seem to really like boy groups (and teasing them). it's pretty scripted i assume when they get as many people as possible to show abs, but "we'll make them come out by slapping them" and "we'll look at them even though we won't show the camera" is a bit weird (and they've done it before for other boy groups). honestly, the LEAST gay thing in the episode is them passing candy from mouth to mouth while speaking supportive words to each other (because they look really uncomfortable doing it). i can't really point out a specific clip that stands out because... just watch the whole thing or nothing. that being said, it's just not feasible for this much gay to actually BE gay... which is why i have to forfeit my broken gaydar and accept i will never have any idea when it comes to idol sexuality.

fans have plenty other opportunities to see their idols -- for instance: perfomances. if you can't go to those, unfortunately you should just bear with it because otherwise you are making their lives HARDER and more stressful. there is no excuse for disrespecting somebody else's personal space and ESPECIALLY security unless they are physically threatening you. crowding airports causes problems not only for the idols themselves but for airport staff and OTHER PEOPLE in the airport who are just trying to get about their lives. being in an airport is already uncomfortable enough, having to keep track of your stuff before/after spending a few hours stuck in a plane seat. even if that's the case and they are doing something amazing that fans would want to see...if you are a fan of someone, it means you like them, right? so, why would you intentionally go against their wishes? why would you disrespect someone you really like and who hasn't done anything wrong? they have their freedom, but i think it's not healthy when fans obsess over their work to the point that they start trying to make it into reality. a little bit is okay, like cute couple banners and stuff like that... but many fans take it too far and try to push these couples together, cursing off anybody else who one of the pair might talk to. it's uncomfortable for the idols in question and for other fans and very rude. but i think that fanfics and fanart are fine as long as they realize that it's their own creation and don't force it onto the idols themselves.

I love woohyun and key together <3 the make the cutest gay best friends i think it may be a testament to how close they are that they're both the best pronouncers of japanese in their respective groups (though it's a tossup as to whether woohyun or myungsoo is actually better at the language). also, i read a fanaccount from infinite's time in LA that said that woohyun's english was surprisingly fluent as well, which matches how key is probably the best english speaker in shinee. actually, still on the topic of woohyun's japanese, i was just watching infinite's concert footage in japan and there were a few moments where i got some vibes from him. lemme sift through and try to see if there was anything notable or if it was just me being me. */doesn't sift through; i want to take a video break because that was 2 hours of concert footage ;^;*

biased towards keyseop versus jongkey? only because their relationship comes off as "more gay." more jongkey would be great here if there was more content to be posted. again, i really fail to see the big deal here. if you're a fan of jongkey specifically and want to see lots of jongkey, then go to a jongkey blog or start a jongkey thread. the title of this thread is "which male idols do you think are gay," not "let's represent everyone's favorite ships as balanced as possible." ah i see... :/ to be honest, i appreciate jongkey as well, it's just we need more content and that's not something we can just "create" (well... as the issue goes we apparently CAN, it just isn't worth very much to the topic of this particular thread). it's something that depends on jonghyun & key ... and sometimes SM :P
