  1. "I want to have kids" is a way you can IMPLY that you like girls without having to SAY that you like girls. that is, if you're gay don't want to lie but you also want the safety net of people assuming you're straight, it's a pretty nifty tool. I want kids, too, regardless of whether or not I'm ever going to adopt any.
  2. funny you bring that up, because the OP of this thread is actually not the OP of this topic. this topic was carried over from the board that predated onehallyu, onto which it had been carried over from an even older board. can't remember who the OP was then, but if i remember correctly it was originally started by a troll user.
  3. even if he's straight, that reads as bullshit. tbh it sounds like an unserious comment over-read by a fan.
  4. not sure i believe this happened, though i don't doubt sehun thinks so.
  5. :c i'm really worried about people he was close to... it must be so hard. i'm worried about woohyun because he's always so sensitive and lonely. posted a comment on his insta, i wish there was more i could do. :x
  6. very high chance it is true :/ but this is not the topic at all. please go to one of the many threads about it.
  7. 1. sungjong2. woohyun 3. myungsoo 4. sunggyu, hoya 6. sungyeol, dongwoo
  8. this was like... literally the most explicit this movie got. disappointed tbh. korea has made far gayer, far more artful, and STILL far happier movies.
  9. omg this is precious there's the "2+2=13" people but this fool can't even get "2=2"
  10. ooohhhhh, i didn't see the "AMA" receipt. yeah sorry this "blind item" is fake AF, unless there were at least 5-10 kpop boy groups at the AMAs.
  11. i assumed it was referring to [potentially-]bilingual expatriots. also this is an anonymous post, not about BTS.
  12. also why are you in a bar if you have a boyfriend, are very famous, and want to canoodle
  13. i agree that's why she was brought up.i'm just happy one of the members mentioned her before gaga~~ (diana ross is a classic gay icon in america -- not sure how well known she is to gays outside)
  14. OMG which bitch is it that said "diana ross" at 1:18? that fabulous fucker is gay :P(i'm honestly surprised though you guys are latching onto the gaga callout and not the diana ross one. gaga may be very gay to english speakers but in countries with less english she's also just an easy callout with high modern relevance) also RM at 2:15, straight-up: has RM or BTS been watching drag race? it would really explain the diana ross callout as well.
  15. these are EXTREMELY literal translation notes, lol. "it's not limited to the opposite sex" is already a potentially misleading translation; you would almost NEVER translate that as "i'm not limited to heterosexuality" (i can't think of a context in which you would, because in those cases you would say it a different way). 〜ã«é™ã‚‰ãš is... literally "not limited to," but it's actually a pretty regular common grammatical form in polite speech. "limit" tends to be a stronger word in english, but in japanese (and very likely korean, which shares many of the same structures) it's about as unnoticeable as "not just." so more like "it's not just [when dealing with] the opposite sex." (i know "dealing" sounds negative, but i just woke up and i'm tired) or "it's not just [when it comes to] the opposite sex." basically he is just expanding his 'ruleset' for the opposite sex as a general approach for all people, men and women. it does possibly imply bisexuality (the fact he even brought up that these are things he values in men as well), but it is not as suspicious as the original translation, and CERTAINLY not as suspicious as that second one. it definitely still feels like a "wait... did he mean this or did he mean this?" moment though.
  16. look at leeteuk's face when he starts his sentence about a boygroup. he realizes what he's saying and then immediately, without making a large "LOL HAHAHA I SAID BOY OOPS WHAT A MISTAKE" gesture, acts like he never said anything until eunhyuk made him own up to it. wonder if eunhyuk is just clueless or if he knows it needs to be turned into a joke.
  17. they're not in the same promotional group or even under the same company...also i'm not in disagreement with you -- i'm saying it's neither here nor there. is there anyone arguing that it's ENTIRELY manufactured?
  18. i doubt it was entirely a marketing tool, but i also doubt there wasn't fan element involved. if there wasn't, they wouldn't share anything. they're likely at least pretty good friends, but they also know as celebrities that anything they do will be consumed by fans, so they do play things up out of appreciation for/duty to their fans.
  19. why are people spoilering their posts despite being on-topic. it's not even like you're protecting readers from large quantities of images or video. what?just because we're arguing there is a fanservice element to their interactions does not mean they don't have a real friendship. calm down. this is about gay-or-no-gay, not kpop friendship politics. ----- i don't care how "bad you feel" when you try to post shipping contents. if you want to prove us wrong, don't just complain to us about how we're not taking you seriously; SHOW US why we are wrong. if we aren't buying your material, find better material. this isn't the "feel validated about your favorite relationship" thread. i'm so tired of this repeated bullshit.
  20. have you watched the korean gay movie REC (2011)? even now, a very high percentage of gay men get married to women (and have kids) around a certain age out of work/familial/societal pressure. not sure how this is gonna pan out with the current generation of SLIGHTLY more "in-your-face" gays after the recent series of global pushes for LGBT rights/awareness, but not only is it NOT surprising for a gay man his age to have a wife and kids, it's pretty much EXPECTED. "more acceptable," yes. the same way that youth in any country is more accepting. they're still far behind.
  21. i don’t really like it except yoo ah in’s character who i wish was the gay one ;; it’s just too BL manga.
