I saw someone mentioned Shuhua (forgot where/too lazy to look up kiii) and let me tell you: I love this girl so much! I've seen plenty of people bashing her and asking how she could be the visual of Idle when she's not even pretty. Now, beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I personally love her look. I feel like K-pop is filled with many many many extremely gorgeous girls. But many have that very typical 'celebrity' look that is obviously in one way or another artificial. And to be completely frank (maybe I'll get hate for this) I feel like many girls in K-pop don't really look "stereotypically" Asian. As in, there's a huge huge discrepancy between how female idols and regular girls look. And that's exactly why I love Shuhua so much. I feel like she has a very genuine, 'ethnic' and a bit common pretty girl look. In an industry where most girls look drastically different from the local population, I think it's refreshing to have a designated visual that looks like that cute girl you go to uni with. I truly hope she won't mess with her face. Especially not her nose and jaw because I've seen people call both too big :/ PS: not sayin there aren't other natural girls.. she's just a very striking one because she's the visual of the group without looking like your typical visual member

Did Loona's Chuu have double eyelid surgery? Her predebut pics look like she had monolids (albeit bigger eyes due to shooping lol) while now she has a bit of a visible crease, although nothing too drastic. Opinions? before now as you can see the crease is still very subtle and she still has an epicanthic fold

I know everyone's like 'ugghhh jessica looks frozen and like a gangnam unnie' but tbh.... I like it on her. I think yes, she looks obviously fake, but it still looks tasteful and chic. Like she looks like the wife of an oligarch or something. Not trashy or botched in the slightest sense, despite her work being obvious.

Is it just me or does Lia look very "tight" in the face? I find her resting face absolutely gorgeous but when she smiles it looks very... idk, unnatural in a chungha-filler sort of way. She's super young, so I think it'd be very sad if they/she already started messing with fillers.

Yes OMG Haseul snapped. I really feel like she'll finally get what she deserves. It was clear to see during the vlive that the girl was working HARD on herself. Sorry for OT :(

Yeah Hyunjin looks very bloated. It's hard to say if she gained weight since Hi High because the hanbok is quite "baggy". Go Won actually still has her angular jaw but for some reason she photographed "softer" here or they edited the pictures. And I agree, Heejin shines as always. She's probably the one who changed the least during the past 2 years.

Okay, so either Hyunjin gained a lot of weight (which I doubt, considering they're gonna comeback in 2 or so weeks) or they messed with fillers.... in a really bad way. I truly miss 1/3 era Hyunjin. She was untouchable during her solo + 1/3 activities :(

Great observation! I'm not sure if you watch Loona TV but if you watch some of the past 10 or so episodes (LoonaBirth arc) you'll se the members with little to no make up and the majority f the girls look soooo much more natural and beautiful. I hate their make up artist lol.

I noticed the weight gain in the girls as well (except for Heejin as you pointed out). This may be an unpopular opinion but I think they all looked better pre-OT 12 debut. I do think that the puffier faces due to rather rapid weight gain plus horrible make up makes them all look much more plastic than they actually are. And shoot me but Hyunjin looked so much better during Loona 1/3 era. I mean she was a legit 10 at her lower weight. She is still exceptionally beautiful but she looked more elegant if that makes sense...

Definitely nose. Other than that I'd say extreme weight loss, different make up and different eyebrow shape. She also seems to go for a more innocent/cute look by facially expressing a certain way which pulls the inner parts of her eyebrows up (sad puppy look). I think she may be influenced by Japanese kawaii aesthetics.

I know this is completely K-pop unrelated but bear with me! I've been thinking about this a lot lol. Do you guys think that Olivia Munn had jaw surgery? Her face shape changed a lot. I don't think I have ever seen any Western celeb having this sort of procedure so I am a bit skeptical. What I find interesting as well is that in the West people actually like square jaws (at least in celebs) like Angelina Jolie's or Olivia Wilde's, so it's surprising to see a Western actress changing her jaw (if she actually did it) from a "chiseled" square one to a more rounded oval one. Could it be botox? Or perhaps she has cheekbone fillers that make her jaw in comparison look smaller? But the shape changed too. I am confusion... Before After

Lol I agree I like LE's fake look. It suits her badassness, the same way it fit Bom's unnieness. At the same time, please let me appreciate the fact that Yuju never shaved her jaw. I just watched this and damn, Chungha really doesn't look good. It says a lot about the amount of PS/work she must have had when SinB looks natural next to her. This video kinda made me appreciate Seulgi even more. Is she perhaps the most natural idol? Maybe some nose fillers or something? But other than that nothing?

Do you think Vivi had a jaw shave? I honestly think the complete opposite is the case. I think she has naturally a very receding lower half of the face and now has a chin implant to balance her face a bit. Like she literally has no jaw and a very very small and receding chin. Whereas now she at least has that little pointy thing of a chin lol What I'm trying to say is, I think with Vivi things got added to her lower face rather than taken away.

How do you guys detect botox? I mean I can see it with Western celebrities like Nicole Kidman or Renee Zellweger. But I have a hard time seeing it with idols. Like what do I need to look out for?

Lovelyz Jisoo. I think an ex lover might have spread the rumors from four years ago out of envy/jealousy. But I still think "there's no smoke without fire" so I believe the lesbian part of the story may be true. Not the abuse part though.

That’s what I’d call a rather unnecessary procedure. Why would anyone do such an invasive surgery for such a subtle result? Is there a possibility that the subtle change is more due to Botox injections rather than a jaw shave?

Seeing Wendy just makes me sad. They literally ruined her face for life. She managed to look a lot better this comeback but seeing her profile or 3/4 profile is still painful

That could be the case as well. Looking at the Loona TV episode where she did her first solo photoshoot with Kim Lip, before shooting the SITR MV, she was skinny as hell.

It's for sure a possibility. BBC loves to photoshop the fuck outta their pics. Just look at Heejin's and Hyunjin's pictures from their solo releases. They're unrecognizeable on some pictures. But this one irked me a bit. I actually thought it was JooE for a second when I saw it on my feed on instagram lel.

As much as I love Loona and Jinsoul, she does look a bit weird here. Don't you agree? Her face seems really puffy (fillers?) and her nose seems suspicious as well. I also have always suspected that her jaw might have had some work done.
