  1. Wikipedia does not really tell much. But thanks.

If anyone is familiar with the Chinese entertainment, I would like to know more. :)

William Chan is pretty famous in mainland China right now :), but I wouldn't call him extremely famous compared to a lot of other Chinese actors. He wasn't that popular in Hong Kong and got a lot of hate back then because he was dating someone who was much more popular than him. But he just recently got popular (a few years or so ago) and is rising steadily. He starred in a pretty popular drama this year with Zhao Li Ying and a sequel is coming out from that drama, so I guess you can assume the ratings were pretty high. So overall, he's pretty popular but I personally wouldn't put him up with A-list actors, but he's a rising star if u get what I mean.

  2. Lols, I have mixed feelings about Jinho, but I don't think he did anything wrong with trying to help Jungmoon. There's a difference between being an outcast and being an outcast who has no idea that they're the outcast. lol. Just like jinho said, she was basically a captured chicken without knowing. Which probably made him pity Jungmoon more because she had no idea that they were making her last.

  3. Yes, I mean publicity...

In one event where he sang the Nengmyun, Jessica could not attend due to other schedules, so IU sang Jessica's part. This was in 2010, so IU was not the power house that she is now in Korea.

He is now paired with IU on this year IC and even after IU said multiple times the type of song that she would do he still picked her, only to ignore her and force his EDM style into the song. K-netz were getting tired of his shit, multiple comments calling him on that.

Also, while he does not make money from the songs directly, he does make money indirectly. Because he does DJing in music festivals, so if his songs are popular he can ask for a bigger pay check and he has more requests to DJ.

A song from years ago being popular again wouldn't allow him to request a bigger pay check or have more requests for him to be a DJ though. Besides that song isn't exactly EDM friendly... which wouldn't really correlate with him asking for a bigger pay check or have more requests to DJ.

Lol, yeah. I watch IC. But if there's no drama, it's no fun. Park Myungsoo is a comedian after all... If you watched the latest episode ( well eng sub one lolol) you can see how hard he actually tried to sing those parts and even told IU that she could release her original version if she really disliked the festival version (or something along the lines). If you looked closely, from the episode where they ordered the food, you can tell he cares for her. They order the wrong food and he literally insists IU to have the food. Dunno how to explain it, just lol re-watch that part haha.

Tbh, I dont think Park Myungsoo gains any publicity for Jessica. He doesn't need Jessica for attention, he's in IC where so many people are watching right now because it's the festival. I mean there's over 10k + upvotes on IC articles.

Anyways, idk if this is considered arguing and I don't mean to lolol. I just feel like people are overthinking Park Myungsoo mentioning Jessica. If anything, I personally feel that Jessica has more to gain because she hasn't appeared on broadcast for so long. I'm glad that someone like Park Myungsoo isn't afraid to talk about Jessica on broadcast.

  4. I don't think Jessica would fit this year in IC, since the guests have to write the songs. From all the things that Jessica is known for, that is not one of them...

Park Myun Soo talked a few times about Jessica in his radio show due to their duet in IC, but I think that is for about him than Jessica. Their song was quite popular, so it's a way to remind people of it and for him to get some $$$ from people going back to listen to it. But that is me, I don't have a very good image of him.

None of the IC members make money from the songs though. They're all donated to charity.

  5. At first I thought people were just exaggerating about Jungmoon and I thought it was reasonable for her to do what she's doing because she wants to survive, but after watching episode 6... I'm so done with her. I was cringing watching her act so pathetic x.x (especially when she wouldn't stop talking about herself, when they were trying to get kyunghoon to win. thank god junseok called her out for that.)

  6. I can't stop remembering it actually...she gave so much to SM including her HEALTH and this is how they repay her

I don't want to bring this up, but remember that time she was sexually harassed and had to suck it up because of the person being a higher up ugh. And how SM released a statement saying nothing happened. She suffered so much, only to get this in return. She devoted basically her whole life to SM. :/

  7. It's kind of sad how he has to apologize for his 30+ year old son's mistake.

I don't get why people do illegal shit that have extreme consequences like the death penalty.

"Oh let me just smoke this blunt and sell a few in a country where I could get my head hacked off for doing just that." Jaycee knew damn well the extremities of doing what he did and yet he still did it :imstupid:  Should've just gone to the States or any place that won't kill you for it.

lmaooo it was fucking 100 grams too LOL.

  8. After watching episode 7 I feel so bad for Krystal.. getting up at 3.15 AM wtf.. It seemed like the manager forced her to get up or something.  :rlytearpls:

Don't they know you will perform alot better when fully rested? Better to work less hours if you can be more effective that way.

If anything Jessica had it worse. She stayed up the whole night and then went to Japan. But that's the life of an idol. It's not only Krystal and Jessica, but rather basically everyone in the industry. I wonder how they don't yawn though during concerts/music shows/interviews or whatever.
