Thanks for your explanations & clarifications. As much as I dislike horror movies, dark humor etc there are many people out there enjoying it, it ain't a crime. After being asked the name they saved each others' phone numbers under, MMM told the truth instead of lying / playing he fake innocent like many other idols...
What happened to all of those OH'ers who backed Sulli up after her 'bold' moves like supporting a rapist lolita photographer, posting herself dubbing & laughing at an eel being grilled alive before she ate it, sharing many sycophantic/scary selfies of herself that she was probably on drugs etc. Aren't the same kids who can find that vid of Mamamoo able to check Sulli's insta? This is what we call big3 priority I guess...
For the 'mocking' thingie, people say that she could've refused to do it. But we all know what happened to KARA's Jiyoung & Hara after refusing Kim Gura's wishes on RS. The same knetz bashed them to death that Jiyoung had to escape to Japan as soon as her contract ended...
That hypocrisy...

You're welcome and I agree with everything you have said

Hi fellow Moomoos, I'm back. I saw an NB article after the Soba awards & there were some really questionable comments by netizens. I'm posting those comments here & I'll be thankful if you provide me explanations or contents. Thx in before

1. [+812, -41] She's the only normal member in the group. Solar and Wheein bragged about enjoying and singing along to a Fatdoo song that talks about chopping up his ex-girlfriend and describes the blood dripping from her neck as strawberry jam ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
2. [+673, -34] At least she's not like Solar who mocked a senior singing in front of her with vocal cord nodules and enjoys singing a song about chopping up an ex-girlfriend. I got goosebumps when she said that while smiling. Whasa is so much better than that bottom barrel of a character.
4. [+43, -2] What's the point of Whasa working so hard on variety shows when Solar goes around bragging about singing along to a song about murdering an ex-girlfriend ã…‹ã…‹ Are they ever going to apologize for that Fatdoo song and mocking Hwayobi for her vocal cord nodules?????
5. [+33, -3] Well.. she's a fellow member of Mamamoo, best friends with Wheein who always causes scandals and a member of a group with Solar who's the leader.. ã…‹ã…‹ I really think Solar needs to give feedback for why she told fans that she enjoys singing a song about murder and chopping up a body... why hasn't she apologized...??
7. [+24, -0] Who even released a song about chopping up an ex-girlfriend? The fact that the Korean music market is allowing a song like that to even be sold is disgusting
I find it ironic how they were all trying to drag Hwasa for over 4 years since debut but now how they "love her" and how she's "so much better"... The same people have been constantly saying "Mamamoo would be a pretty girl group without her" and other very disgusting and horrible comments (including colorist remarks) since 2014...
Honestly the whole situation is bullshit and there's proof it was started by pressed fake kfeminists who after not being able to shame and degrade Hwasa and Solar for their stage outfits and were then shut down by moomoos they tried to dig up some old things from 2015 and misinterpret the entire situation and twist everything to fit their narrative... if you watch the actual videos it really shows how bs all these comments and claims are.

Ok so just to be delusional for a second I would like to point out the fact that Hwasa specifically said "married" (assuming the translation is right but whatever). Statements are made like this between idol members a bunch but most always say "dating". Given that Wheesa live in a country that doesn't allow same sex marriage I can't help but feel like a hint was being given here. Basically Hwasa saying, "we've been dating forever and if one of us was a dude we'd be married because we'd actually be allowed." Just saying FOLKS
Exactly! That's what I thought! And you can tell she was being serious when saying that and not just "joking".
Even if we look at how Hyejin described Whee In when she first saw her (she brushed her hair back,, spun her scarf around her neck etc) and how she approached whee in ("hey i fell for you. do you want to be friends?") and consider everything else in this thread it looks like some feelings that go beyond just "best friends" are involved and it doesn't matter what they label themselves as.

Tipsy Live 2 gifs.. ok but they have been so natural and nonchalant about everything like they've done it a million times before (which they probably have)
link to the full subbed video:

now the question isn't really "have they kissed/done it before" it's more like "how far tf did these 2 go?" (considering they have been best friends for over 10 years)

look closely at their reaction... (those fcking eyes and that smile,, later whee in gets even more flustered and you can tell by her eyes but it's not in this gif) obviously they know what it means based off of the reaction so like sis,,,

In a behind the scenes video of recording the Woodie Gochild and Hwasa collab you can see her phone and has Whee In's polaroid under her phone case

So they just had their 4 Seasons Concert and they were asked questions etc and Hyejin deadass said this!!
*talking about how wheesa have been best friends for over 10 years*
H: If only one of us were a man... we would have been a married couple by now.

Lion King who? I only know the Lion QUEEN.
Honestly, Hwasa is the only woman who will perform Lion King, then crown herself and proclaim she's the queen and proceed to redefine what "fatal" means once again.

~~~WARNING~~~
...excessive hotness...
Loco doesn't know what to do and looks so flustered- awww that's so cute. Hwasa definitely knows what she's doing and is honestly a legend.
Funny seeing that Korean guy compare the girls to Mamamoo while most fans get into the Black Pink argument. It's good to see Idle establish their own style though. As a rookie group comparisons are normal but as they put out more content, the comparisons should abate.
I think being compared to Mamamoo is more of a compliment and what he means by this is that they seem to have already found their sound. If you listen to both Latata and Hann (and their other songs) you feel and know it's an i-dle song. Mamamoo and (G)I-dle both are/were regarded as monster rookies. They both also actively participate in writing/composing/arrangement of their songs and help with choreo, especially Soyeon. I-dle also has some nice charisma on stage which is really cool to see and never disappoint with their lives, especially as only rookies.
Back in 2014 Mamamoo was being praised for their uniqueness, veteran-like stage presence, amazing vocals and their retro-jazzy sound that can be heard in their early songs. These days when you hear a Mamamoo song you know it's a Mamamoo song no matter what genre it is (retro, jazz, funk, pop, r&b, ballad, rap and more).
You can see how much Mamamoo achieved in only 4 years and they all had to work extremely hard for it considering they were their company's first ever idol group. Btw mamamoo have a huge fanbase in Korea. A comparison between the 2 groups could also imply i-dle's possible huge future success.
Sometimes comparisons can be good and taken as compliments. It's really sad to me how many blinks tried to immediately bash i-dle for literally breathing and it was definitely toxic and not ok.
sorry for the rlly long post uwu
If they ever come to Europe, no matter which country, I'll definitely try to get tickets.
To be honest, there is a limited number of performers not just in South Korea but worldwide who could go this intense with consistent live vocals for over 3 hours. They're on that level.
And I just have to stop for a moment and think about how this isn't just talent alone - they've truly worked hard to reach the performance capability that they have. You can have the best vocal technique on the planet but if you haven't put in those practice hours you won't last for a 3,5 hour concert with choreo and jumping around on stage. Couple their talent and stamina with their genuine love for the stage and you've got true powerhouse performers and artists. I really admire and respect them.
Ahhh agree with everything you said!! See you in the future Europe concert because you bet I'll be there. No matter how much it will be it will be worth every. single. penny.
Just like many people I've met these past months since I discovered Mamamooo, I didn't even like Kpop at first.
I knew about the genre and all that because of Twitter and I remember even listening to a song of BTS and thinking that it just wasn't my style of music.
I stayed out of it until a friend shared me a song called "I miss you"
Guys, I was infatuated. The Harmony, the incredibly powerful voices, the simple beauty of the song, the rap! (And I've never even been into rap wth?) Ugh everything about it captivated me, and I was so incredulous at first, thinking that they probably just used autotune like many artists do and fixed their voices in an studio to be able to sound like that, imagine my face when I searched for the live version and turned out that it's even better...
It's been around 4 months since that, I've cleared the whole Mamamoo trans guide for videos, I've bought merchandise and their original physical albums, I'm totally in love with the whole band and every single member, it's amazing how talented, funny, kind and humble they are, and I'm not even embarrassed to say that at my 36 years old I'm a total fangirl for Mamamoo.
So please accept me in the fandom guys, I will do my best and fight for these girls, I've never been in one before and I feel kinda silly saying it, I just want to talk and share my love for Mamamoo.
Of course and welcome to the radish family!! I fell in love Mamamoo really quickly and recently too so I know exactly what you mean ahaha. Enjoy your Moomoo adventure with us!
Told y'all Cube would bounce back with i-dle
I just watched it and honestly, it was great and very entertaining. Seungri has a very extroverted personality and is extremely charismatic. I found a few parts strangely hilarious, maybe due to the irony (for example Seungri vs Hwasa when it comes to alcohol skshdhd).
Can't wait for Hwasa's part!! Really excited!!
-
Ahhhh so happy to see Soyeon being appreciated and loved so much!! All the other members too!! Monster Rookies of 2018 for sure!
ahhh i cant wait for the english subs!! so excited!!
i know that you probably didn't know and mean it but j** is an offensive slur that was and is still used against the Japanese people. let's use jpn instead
