It's always been like that.Whats with all the pressed salty bitches in the teaser thread.
At this point Winner could release a folk song with African beats and Spanish guitars, and someone will still call it Trop. House.
And everyone knows that the oversexualized comment was an abysmal reach. I mean it does fall in the matter of perspective, but it's ironic when the accusations come from someone who likes K-pop. Lol that contradiction alone invalidates most arguments.
I actually liked the element of surprise with this release. It gave little away, which is always the best way to tease as it doesn't raise, or lower expectations. I know Trap is niche in S. Korea so I'm hoping the boys do a good job with making it appealing to the public.

I was often heard about YOF but haven't watch the show...Is it good? Is there a chance WINNER will be in the show as a whole group? Please PD-nim,cast my kids

It's a good show if you like travel shows with bad travellers.
And Winner's chance of being in it is actually really probable judging by the last 2 seasons. For the Peru and Laos season there was only three cast members, but for Iceland and Africa they had four. So I'm pretty sure it won't be too hard for Na PD to include all 4 boys into an idol spin off (kind of like grandpas or noonas over flowers.)

Yeah, that's why YG put LMLM as first title, but still good of him to let the boys release Island as second title track and not only put them as b-side on full album w/o MV.
That's a smart move on YG's part since the song is bound to do better outside of Korea anyway. I'm just glad that after so many years he's finally being smart with regards to WINNER.
-
Reggae and dancehall inspired songs will only do good in the charts if it's extremely catchy.
Figured S. Korea would prefer LMLM since they don't generally like Caribbean sounds that much... and specially not loud ones.

Has there ever been a case where a scene got cut from HC because of spoiler?
In the past there's been assumptions that scenes were cut due to spoilers, but honestly they're just cut because they weren't interesting enough. I remember Exo fans leaked lots of videos of Exo in HC and the scenes were still aired. Those rules they have are just to deter leaks, but are not strictly enforced. However, if they do cut scenes they'll still probably be aired in an upcoming episode.
I think ICs should just work on not spreading the circulating pics. That's honestly better than wasting time forcing someone to take them down as that will only bring forth more attention to the subject.
-
Oh. Well if that's the case then that's not good.
Hopefully they'll still enjoy the show, though. Winner isn't BIGBANG but they're still a lot of fun. I hope it will be positive exposure for them.Yeah, it's all good since most of them like Winner anyway. And if they don't then they can easily sell their tickets or give them away to C-ICs
-
Lol if they're trending it's mainly because CVIPs are pissed that many of them got tickets for the show after they announced and media played BIGBANG guesting on HP... only for it to end up being Winugu instead.
Though for the most part they're just angry at YHS, not Winner.

Also I took liberty into looking at some of the Japanese Arenas and many of them are booked for the dates that fall around Winner's Tour. Guess that's why Avex chose to book another Hall Tour (with much bigger venues ofc). But it's all good since Hall venues are a lot more intimate and directly cater to fans, whereas Arenas + Domes are often centered on concert-goers and the public.
Though from what I see Japanese IC'S are really happy to see them again, so I'd expect more dates to be added to the tour... and of course as consequence the mythical 'X' release will probably be delayed.

Guys I'm so hyped for the new song!
Ideally, I just wanted a pre-release and a full album, but I'll try to be positive. I just hope that after the mini album we get the other half (or the repackage if there's any) towards the later part of the year. That will give Winner enough time to really polish the other half well. And since the release will be spread out the public won't tire of them as quick, they can do tours or Japanese promos in between, and YG can still promote other acts... plus you girls will get to see them more towards the end of the year.
Like some of you said; if executed well this could be a win-win for Winner.

It's been a while since I last popped up in here. That messy thread is best ignored, but some of the points brought up there were so idiotic that I just felt the need to address...
Personally I'm fine with Winner being delayed if it's favorable to the overall production of the album. I've been a VIP since BIGBANG's debut and that taught me much patience, but it also taught me just how flawed the YG company really is. As flawed as some of the people in that thread.
Those individuals who love to bring up Akmu, Lee Hi, etc.. in comparison to Winner's delayed comeback are simply idiotic. There's absolutely no point of comparison that can be drawn between an idol group and a solo/indie artist- the correlation is plainly nonexistent. I can understand comparing them to how long BIGBANG and 2ne1 were in hiatus, but making analogies between solo/duo acts? It's ridiculous. Lee Hi and Akmu have totally different demographics, the promotion tactics for them are different too. Vips never compared Gummy/ se7en's promotions to that of Bigbang's because solo acts don't take much precedence when compared to a group, they also don't generate as much profit either. Besides, a solo act comeback can be squeezed in at any allotted moment, it can be done faster since it takes less planning, but an idol group is different. You can't just pop up Winner's comeback a la Beyonce, it takes a lot more work and planning since there are more artists that need to be catered to. So if people want to cry a river for Lee Hi and Akmu, they should but at the expense of YG's incompetency, not as a medium to negate IC's complaints.
Also, I want to mention that out of the 4 YG groups debuts I've witnessed, Winner's debut is honestly the one with the most missed opportunities. The utter disregard to capitalize on their momentum honestly baffled me last year and still does. It honestly seemed like YG was an amateaur, but even when he actually was an amateur (i.e Bigbang's debut) he still did a better job than what he did last year. Anyway, I can't really compare Winner's debut to BB's or 2ne1's since it was long ago, so that leaves Ikon. Ikon's debut wasn't that great either, but arguably it was planned longer and it seems like YG learned a thing or two from Winner's debut... This basically continues to leave Winner as the experimental group, which isn't always a bad thing.
If YG is smart he better take his head and hat out of his ass soon because his ticking clock is almost running out.
I guess I'll pop up again when the album's out... whenever that is

The way some of the medical personal are treating this Ebola issue, is a little embarrassing.
3 days ago I was visiting a friend in NJ, and fell ill due to some food poisoning. I was vomiting a lot, so I just went to a clinic to get a prescription for some good Antiemetics. But as soon as I told them my symptoms, the desk girls looked terrified. I had to assure them 3 times- That no, I did not go out of the country, specifically not to Africa
As I was waiting for treatment, all the medical staff would come out to stare at me. They also purposely removed the water dispenser, for some idiotic reason. Then, when it was my turn to get checked up, the medical assistant was a trembling mess. She apologized, and said she was scared, and that since she was new they forced her to treat me.I have a wide medical background, so since I was very annoyed at the unprofessionalism, and I didn't want the dumb bitch near me, I ended up taking my own temperature, my weight, my own vital signs, and my own blood pressure. Then the doctor came, she assessed me all the way from the corner, did not get close AT ALL. She asked for my symptoms, prescribed me antiemetics, and then she left. The checkup was done within 2 minutes tops, and the bitch didn't even diagnose me!
I was so enraged at how ignorant these supposed 'medics' were being, but I was too drained to do much about it. To think they did all that just because I had a vomiting issue. Honestly, I wouldn't rant about this shit, if it weren't for the fact that this clinic is "supposedly" one of the clinics trained by the CDC to handle Ebola issues in NJ. I should sue these motherfuckers

Wow such accurate observation. Even i who deaf one ear never noticed that. After you mentioned it, i noticed a lot of them quite the same as me. I tend to talk aloud without myself noticed it. People around me always tell me that i'm talking too loud which is opposite to my thought. Even about the gesture too. You can become a detective ;)
Haha, don't know about detective, since I'm actually a Chef, who's going to school to become a surgeon :p
But like I said, I like to observe people a lot. And I'm also a little hard at hearing, so some of my observations also come from my personal experiences.

Omg how did you notice?? I didnt know at all!! Like what details made you notice?
Im a ball of emotions right now. I dont want to mention it too much because that doesnt define him but I cant help feeling extremely proud!!
Sorry, was on my way to work. Since I'm on mobile, I can't be fully detailed. But this is the basic gist;
Like I said, I'm painfully observant so I just picked up little things here, and there. Honestly, what gave it away the most for me, was the way he sings. I actually thought he was tone deaf at the beginning.... But, of course, I later disproved that thought.
Anyway, I first really began to notice during Win. He would always position his right ear closer to the speaker, if said speaker was more than 5 ft away. Also, he had/has a tendency to read lips. I noticed this during WIN as well, he needs to look at the person intently, and concentrates fully when they speak to him within a distance, as it makes it easier to understand. He speaks loud sometimes too, in fear that people can't hear him I guess. Also the way he puts on his in-ear, or the way he wears his headphones- specially when he DJ's.
During that episode where he acted out that Jinwoo-GD scene, he only instinctively put the headphone on his right ear first, and was in deep discomfort when the noise was too loud. Far too much pain for anyone with normal hearing. During the quiz show in Winner TV, I noticed that he was having a hard time hearing the questions. Also, when he fell in the pool after Mino pushed him, I think he wiped at his right ear first. Not to mention the fact that he always articulates with exaggerated hand movements. Sometimes you can tell that he asks people to repeat themselves a lot, specially during fanmeets. And when someone whispers to him, he always puts his right ear forward. And the members always whisper to his right ear. As funny as it sounds people who have a hearing impairment tend to flip their hair a lot too. But I think that what cemented the fact that he had a hearing problem was the fact that he tends to avoid social situations where he will have difficulty following conversations- Like that recent Zico interaction he got so much flack for.
Anyway, I reiterate that these small signs, only told me that he was hard at hearing. Which is normal for singers/musicians. But once again, I had no idea he was actually deaf in one ear.

I am so proud of Taehyun.
All throughout WIN, WINNER TV, I always knew that he had some kind of problems with his left ear. Yes, I'm painfully observant, and the fact that I used to work with the hearing-impaired helped me arrive to such conclusions. However, I thought he was just hard of hearing... I had no idea he was actually deaf on his left ear.
I am honestly at a loss of words, right now. This information explains a lot of things to me, but most importantly... it solidifies the attachment I have for these kids. The fact that he never mentioned it, and never used it as an excuse makes me revere him more. He obviously knows that his disabilities do not define him, or his music. And I respect that.

They're all strong rookies indeed. Personally, I'm keeping my eyes on Mamamoo, Park Boram, and Winner.

Heroin? Knets are reaching with this one...

I should be paying attention to my meeting, instead of being here... but oh well:
Guys stop wasting your time with those obvious bait threads. Let it die. No matter how much you argue stubborn people, and haters will not see it your way. It's just a waste of time.
Instead of being defensive, let Winner defend themselves. If the only thing all those people can grasp at is that the boys are 'overhyped', 'bland', and 'boring, then that's good... since we know that's not the case. Overtime Winner's bound to release more upbeat tracks, and once they go on varieties they will show they're far from dull. And all those people will look like fools.
Let's also not go into negging sprees, those are never fun.
Just my 2 cents

So is this just a rumor, or was it confirmed?
Either way that woman is pretty, looks young, and is experienced. I don't know how her personality is like, but still what more can a guy ask for?

Guess it's time to reactivate Twitter.
Exactly. YG is doing things right for once. This type of teasing (though ambiguous to fans) is specifically good for Winner who already has public attention. Since the teaser gives little away it forces the public to fully listen to the song upon release. As opposed to hearing a snippet, hating it, and ignoring it. Though this marketing scheme can go down the gutter if we factor in the earlier mishap. Prayer circle so that the actual song doesn't leak +++
Lol I'm just trying to keep my once in a millennium post short. And good thing it's not a 19+ rating, since half the time it doesn't merit it.
