  1. Just a little appreciation of Kyungsoo's powers over older male actors

That last gif on the bottom left, they're both shy around each other, that's so cute. He looks so tiny compared to them lol

What I like about this is that no matter Kyungsoo's orientation, it's still so good and pure

If he's gay though, then he must be lowkey appreciating all of this attention, all for simply being himself

Honestly with him I really don't know, gay or straight, any outcome wouldn't surprise me. Kyungsoo is a gem.

  2. Hope she doesn't do it again

Anyways I posted it here because I was surprised.

From what I heard about grindr I didn't think asians would be popular BUT she did say that he attracted a lot of guys who thought he was a submissive bottom based on the fact that he was asian and sometimes even guys up to 35 years old lmao

So I guess "cute asian bottoms" do have demand but at the same time it's sad for the rest of the asians who don't fit that fetishized stereotype.

Since this is the LGBT thread here and it mainly discusses asian men I thought I could bring up the racism many asian men who don't look like kpop idols face which is sad.

Well to be fair, a lot of asian men tend to have a skinnier build and softer facial features, which would put them in the twink/bottom category.(Unless they're jacked or have more facial hair, or a stronger build.)

It's the same with that disgusting fetish some non-asian men have for asian girls, where they automatically view them as more submissive. Barf.

It is a racist stereotype, unfortunately.

  3. Which is weird because why would she do that and later complain about all the dick pics she got.

I mean sis what did you expect lol...

    oh honey no

    giphy.gif

lmao girl was in the official dickâ„¢ territory, even some gay men complain about the amount of dick picks they get there.  Ain't no place for a girl, much less a lesbian

Guess she won't be doing it again lol

  4. I told her it's not okay don't worry.

I don't think she fetishizes gay men at least she didn't give me the impression.

    She is lesbian herself.

I think she just wanted to troll some guys and used yoongi's pictures for that.

I told her it was an asshole move to trick those guys but she just said I am lame prude lol

Yeah it's weird then, as a lesbian she should know herself that it's not ok. Welp, guess not everyone has the same common sense. And you're not a prude for telling her, you just did the right thing.

  5. A lil OT but whatever

Someone really made a grindr profile trolling with yoongi's pics lol.

She said he was quite popular which shocked me cause I am more familiar with the lesbian dating scene but as far as I know a lot of gay men tend to be prejudiced against asians or at least don't have a preference for asians in the US.

Is this girl fetishizing gay men by any chance? Or is she a fujoshi/shipper? Because that's not really a good action on her part. I certainly wouldn't like men parading as girls chatting me up online just for shit and giggles or to gauge my reaction.

(I am not blaming you btw, but these people should know that it's neither a funny or cute thing to do. Sigh.)

  6. I hear this all the time "You could choose to be with the opposite gender so it's not as bad for you." That is so bs. You fall in love with who you fall in love with and a bi woman dating a man or a bi man dating a woman is not a "straight" relationship because the bi person is still not straight.

People have told me "Gay people don't have a choice but you do so it's your fault if you get discriminated against."

I'm so sick of this kind of biphobia and it starts from things like that.

Woman + man = straight relationship

Man + man = gay relationship

Woman + woman = lesbian relationship

I literally never heard anyone say that it was my fault that I got discriminated, sorry you did.

The only thing I experienced was homophobia, because some of my friends happened to be relieved that I was attracted to men too, not only women (because they didn't want me to be a dirty lesbian, of course).

If I fall in love with a woman I'm going to date her. If I fall in love with a man I'm going to date him. Gay people cannot fall in love with the opposite sex, and some have to live their life pretending that they do.

Unfortunately, I don't think that my struggles as a bi person are worse than gay people, so I don't get offended by simple facts. Not everyone is the same, most certainly.

  7. That is a biphobic statement so I really hope you didn't mean it like that.

Idk I'm bi and I'm still trying to see how that is biphobic?

I think what OP meant was that we, as bi people, can choose a simpler life by being in a straight relationship, and still feel happy and fulfilled. Which is something that unfortunately, not every gay person has the chance to do.

I could live my life passing as a straight person and literally no one would bother me about it.

  8. I don't think most kpop fans would bent over backwards this much to prove their biases' "talent" if they weren't good looking to begin with

You can pretend that you like Kpop because of your faves' "meaningful lyrics" to look wokeâ„¢ but really, idols are just performers meant to appeal to the most people they can, whether it's with their visuals, their on-screen personnality or their singing/dancing...but they still need to be good looking cause that's what sells best in the end.

    Kpop ain't that deep fam

  9. Why are vibes most of the receipts people are relying on, my femme ass probably gives off very little vibes bc of my love of pink and dresses yet in still a lesbian *shrug*

When people talk about "getting vibes" I think they are usually not referring to stereotypes, it's more of a feeling based on body language and interactions. Kinda hard to explain or put in words, but I'm femme too, I have long hair, wear makeup, fancy clothes and heels and a lot of people (mostly gay or bi women) have told me they knew I was into women before I even told them. Kind of like the aura I give off I guess. I feel the same whenever I look at people, even in public I can see who is a couple or nah, they don't need to be kissing or intimate, it's just the vibe they give off...if it makes sense. I think it's probably just our brains that subconsciously reads micro body language signs that we are not consciously aware of, so we just end up calling it "vibes".

  10. Yeah it is really sad :( but I get why she did it.

Amber and Miya have their other group members to fufill South Korean expectations of feminine women, while she’s debuting as a solo artist, it’s much harder.

Even on Superstar K they were already pressuring her to change her look (and succeeded).

I really admire her as an artist. I hope that new idols/singers in the future won’t ever have to be pressured to change their looks or who they are.

Yeah I would have done the same thing if I was her. Being a solo artist must be harder too, because there is only one person to represent the "image" as opposed to a group.

Best of luck to her though, and if she really is gay then I hope she is still able to have a private life with the person she desires.

  11. Do you guys know of Minseo? She sang the soundtrack for The Handmaiden alongside Gain. She looks feminine now but this is what she looked like during Superstar K2. She's super pretty and talented I wonder if she pings for anyone?

    Now:

    MdnTJGv.jpg

They definitely "prettied" her up to be more marketable to South Korea, that's for sure

Boy these outfits were gay af

But I didn't watch anything about her so I can't really say

It's just sad that people have to change themselves just so they can hope to have a career...
