I would be curious to see some other members write some songs for the album, but I don't expect them to write any title tracks. The pressure for those must be incredible. They trust GD and company to write hit songs and ensure their popularity. I could see the other members writing good songs, but it's a lot harder to write a good hit song. I love a lot of GD's lyrics. I appreciate him mocking himself like he does in stuff like OAK and CDT. Also, his back and forth thing of saying he wants/feels one thing in one part of the song and then immediately contradicting it makes his lyrics feel complex emotionally. The cool thing about the disbandment issue is that GD said it was all good for now and the problems he was anticipating are still years away. They're already an old group so this is heartening.

Not trying to be argumentative- but what do you see that's different in that regard from how BB are now? There's still certain members that outshine other members but, looking at those debut videos it's seemed that they were pretty coherent as a group. To my eyes, everyone who stands out more now (I think they're all great but some still stand out more) stood out more then too. Relating this to the Win groups, the members who don't stand out as much in both groups may improve, but if I don't see the chemistry with the other members straight off the bat then I don't know if it's possible for that to appear just from improving their skills after debut. I kinda wish both teams would be joined with the strongest members. They're both really lacking at this point for an immediate debut.

I totally lost hope when I saw the empty picture frame up in YG with the name "Winner" already on it. I really hoped they would change it.

I have to say that this is the first time I've enjoyed Jinny's voice. Such a great start to the song! His tone sounded really on point here. Plus he was stable. Has he been singing outside his range before or what?

I've heard a few people saying this, but to check, I went back and looked at Bigbang's debut stages. Comparing that to Team A- they still have a longggg way to go. I think they're better dancers but as far as singing with stability while moving, stage presence, chemistry with members, and sheer charisma, I haven't seen them do anything like what BB could do back in the day. Of course, this group isn't trying to be the second BB, but personally I really can't stand them not having chemistry and charisma. They have other talents though, so if they debut maybe that will be what their known for.

Maybe it's a chemistry thing? KSY and Tae had truly awesome voices on this performance but I thought the harmonization was really awkward. That's one of the reasons I like B. I was actually impressed by their harmony on this craptastic song. I was sorta half-believing the theories that YG was purposely hamstringing the B-boys in order to debut A, but after seeing him choose such a classic song for A and Justin frickin Beiber for B- he definitely has in it for them!

From what I saw on the stream, Team B did surprisingly good with Baby but the energy was a little lacking compared to past performances. They really worked with what they had vocally though and their harmonization was great. Team A had some great showings by KSY and Tae Tae- really awesome vocalists but the harmonization for the team sucked donkey balls. I really can't wait to hear what the judges comments were.

Although I'm a Team B fan, I just wanted to say that I like some A boys too. Tae Tae is awesome! I didn't like him at first and still don't think he's cute but I really like his eyebrows, singing, and the way he always has good opinions/ideas- this is not in any order btw.

Is this a serious concern for everybody else? Before I was into kpop, I could have never imagined having people in groups where they live together and are so buddy buddy all the time with these crazy hyung- dongsaeng- leader, etc. dynamics. It's seems like a lot of stress, if they guys don't have good chemistry. But maybe it depends on how successful they are. If they do well then they'll have more incentive to stay together. If they do poorly or just alright then that will cause more stress and I could see a blame game erupting between members.

I wanted to come out of lurkdom to agree with this. Personally I've never become a fan (including buying whole albums instead of a song here or there) if the artist doesn't have an exciting live performance. I really respect them more if they can move me during a live performance. It's such a rare thing. It's way more uncommon than good vocals. I value vocals as well but if I like their vocal tone and it's a group as young as this who can improve, then that's not a huge barrier. I tried to get into other kpop groups besides Bigbang but I didn't like their music and a lot of the performances were regimented and sorta lifeless. (side note: watched a couple of music shows and surprisingly this group Teen Top had great energy. Don't know anything else about them but they made me realize how few groups have any kind of life in their performances) I really agree with Daesung's comment. I thought Team A gave a great performance. They improved a lot. But I didn't care because they didn't move me at all so I had no urge to watch it again. Really, the vocals are good but they aren't good enough for me to be blown away. Team B's energy is infectious.
