Though the verses are Mino-centered, everyone can relate to the hook. Also I admire Zico as a producer, he only had YB in mind for the hook and YB was perfect for it. Mino says he raps for his loved ones. BN says he's alone and all he has is rap. Yet both of them are talking about the same thing. Enduring the same hardships. lol. They're a great dichotomy imo. I loved Mino's perf and the hook was addicting. Composition is a good too. BN lyrics was very well-written and personal. Didn't feel hook/Jessi feat much tho. So imo, Mino > BN, by a slight margin. I'd love to see Mino/Basick hype the crowd next week.

Maybe he had to go audition as a formality? YG favored SH in kpopstar and offered him a contract yet Hoon also talks about auditioning. ^^ Noone in winner was from public auditions. I just watched the round 1. I love that both performances are of the same quality that people can't tell who won. Lil boi, I get that he's trying to revamp his image but there must be an area between Geeks and bo$$ that wouldn't have been as awkward looking -- clothes and choreography wise. His first verse had more impact than the second swag/fur/moolah part. The concept of being a boss was more genuine from Loco and (gdi) Jay Park. I feel like the producers could've done something about those things. I stan Mino and it is only in my opinion, that lil boi could've crushed him given the perfect set-up. Also that "mino is winner" takes away from the performance and is manipulative af. moneyflow's beat is great. Good job Zico. Crowd had more reactions. But it is repetitive and not much emphasis on rapping, more the hook. Mino had a bad throat too -- but his stage presence and perf is topnotch.
