Regarding Jennie and the whole situation, one thing that has really annoyed me is people implying it is a publicity stunt. Not just antis, I have even see Blinks trying to say that as well. Granted most of them seem to be people who took their Jensoo or Jenlisa shipping far too seriously, but it is beyond disrespectful. The poor girl had her privacy completely invaded by Dispatch, they even went to her house! Can you imagine how she must be feeling? It’s especially ludicrous to make that suggestion considering how dating news is often received by the public. I’m just glad most people have been mature about it and want her to be happy. People need to accept she is dating, respect her and Kai’s relationship, and get over it. She did look sad and nervous at times and no wonder. I’m glad she had the girls there to support her.

I’m sure she was nervous, it was the first time she was out in public since the dating news came out. I hope she is aware most fans are happy for her and Kai Anyway, congrats to the girls for the awards they won! They all looked gorgeous too.

I hope Jennie and Kai are ok. The reaction has mostly been positive which is great, but the levels which dispatch went to must freak them out, it’s so invasive. I also hope people don’t hound the girls about it. It is Jisoo’s birthday soon and I would hate for her or Jen, Lisa and Rosé to feel they can’t post for fear of people hounding them about it.

I’m glad that the reaction from both fandoms has been positive. The only negative reaction I have seen from Blinks is a few Jensoo and Jenlisa shippers who took things way too seriously and are having tantrums! Most people just seem to be angry about the invasion of privacy, which is how it should be. If the Jisoo dating rumour is also true, then I support her as well. They could all be dating for all we know, and frankly it shouldn’t be an issue. They are human beings, and deserve to be happy.

I support Jennie and Kai. I think it’s crazy that dating is still seen as a big scandal in the K pop world! I am worried about the reaction, and any negative repercussions the news might have, but so far what I have seen has been mostly positive.

I saw another video from today in which poor Jennie looked terrified, and someone said Lisa even got hit in the face by a phone! They should never be made to feel scared or unsafe, people need to respect them. Anyway, on a lighter note, some cute photos from today. Chaesoo look like they are plotting something haha

This is just unacceptable. Lisa got bumped into really hard! People should respect their personal space, they are human beings! Security should be even tighter as well , especially considering Lisa got death threats this year and all the Jennie hate.

The girls are definitely not happy doing the bare minimum. They have all stressed many times that they are happiest when it is the four of them on stage together, and have all expressed their desire for a full album. They have made subtle hints about not being content with the situation, like on Star Road when Lisa made a joke about Blackpink not being seen in the studio etc. I don’t think they would have trained for as long as they did and worked as hard as they did if being an idol was just a stepping stone for them to be models! They have said many times that the support from Blinks and from each other is what keeps them going. I really don’t think it’s fair for people to doubt their desire.

I was expecting them to perform more than just DDDD but I’m sure they will still give it their all and put on a great show!

I’m glad the videos were taken down. I am not against Jennie or any other idol getting constructive criticism, but this is a witch hunt. I’m also a Red Velvet fan and it reminds me of the treatment Yeri frequently gets. If people think someone can put more effort into their performances, fine. But if people use it as an excuse to do a complete character assassination of someone then it’s disgusting. I wish people sitting behind their computers would think how this negativity could hurt the person in question. It has been relentless! Have I noticed a change in Jennie’s performances? Yes. I’m not going to deny sometimes she is lacking, but there could be so many reasons for that. When BP debuted I’d argue she was second only to Lisa in terms of energy, so something had changed, but none of us can say what it is. I know she got very down during their hiatus and I know she has stamina issues, though obviously I’m not going to diagnose her mental health or physical health for her. That is something personal that only she can speak about, but people really should bear in mind that calling someone lazy or spoiled is dangerous and unfair when there could be other things at play. Some Blinks want her to step up her game, and that’s fine. But A LOT of people commenting on this don’t care about or know anything about the group, they are just using any excuse to insult Jennie. For example, people questioning whether Jennie even likes the other girls. Any true Blinks knows that she is extremely close to Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa, there has never been any awkwardness between them or any doubt about that. YG didn’t appoint a leader because of how close the group are! So people inferring she is trying to sabotage the group and only cares about herself are out of line, and have no genuine interest. I just hope she has been able to enjoy her solo success, and I’m so glad she has the other girls there! They have been unequivocally supportive of her

I have been really busy recently so I’m not up to date with the thread, but I wanted to mention the fact the other girls all got up so early to support Jennie. I’m sure you guys have probably talked about it but it shows how supportive they all are
