From the chilled/laid back R&B of My Type&Airplane, the mid tempo pop/R&B of Welcome Back & Today, the Hip Hop/Gospel track that is M.U.P, the power (Rock?) ballad song that is Apology, to the trap/hip hop beats of Anthem and Rhythm Ta....iKON's trying everything and i'm so happy about that. There's something for everyone, but I guess they'll have to try some rock, metal, reggae, soul etc for that to fully apply .... Oh but I don't understand why you guys are crying at the lyrics of apology though ?? So the guy basically was a selfish idiot, who wasted the girl's time,energy and love, but still has the audacity to say, "I hope are memories are short and beautiful like the sunset"??? I always knew iKON were doing well digitally, but I don't think I fully processed it until now (the Pann post) Especially considering the short amount of time they've had to chart and how many songs they've released. They're seriously incredible..and they're a rookie too! So grateful and very proud of them, I can only pray for more success to follow. With all the spazzing on twitter on the day of the MMAs I forgot to post here :/ I was so proud, to the point of tears, when the they won the award for best new male artist, even though I expected it. I guess iKON will always have that effect on me Their performances were really good, not excellent but still good. The poor sound system really annoyed me, but Idk why I expected any different since it's always a shambles Still, they handled it like pros (Yunhyeong is a saint..my baby) and they performed like veterans. Poor Jinani though, he must have felt really embarrassed when fell lol but he came back from it well Too bad anything good that comes our way is short lived, but i'm not one for self-pity, so i'll leave it at that. & yes I believe Hanbin's neck is still injured and he wasn't just being "Hanbin". This just confirms my sentiment that this has got to be one of the worst promotions I have seen from a YG act ever. I am astounded and it's for a freaking debut...I just can't. When YG actually stood by the 9/15 release of my type, underneath my excitement and happiness of seeing the boys again, I was undeniably disappointed because I wish there debut had been delayed (For obvious reasons) Everything about this debut (besides their chart performance, sales and music -which is relative) has been an absolute shambles So rushed, so messy, so chaotic.. &I'm really happy For the J-Konics, but I can't help but feel sad for the K-konics, who are working really hard for iKON in Korea :/ They've been so lovely and understanding of the lack of promotions thus far(probably because of the promise iKON made to them) but if YG continues like this...I wonder how long they can keep their cool for. I'm trying to look at the positives here, because it's always good to focus on positives but I just dk Time to rest? Not really, they may not have fan meetings but they have extra pressure to perfect this album, filming etc. But I guess this extra time lessens the likelihood of shitty as MV's. Amen The future looks hazy and it's making me nervous. I trust the boys and ikonics but I don't trust YG. I just hope all goes well for them and nothing but success comes their way because they deserve it. Oh yeah, but what a beautiful sight it is to see the girls up in arms about this delay. Blaming iKON and YG's favoritism for their lives problems. iKON, nor his supposed favoritism to iKON are the problem. Him and his whole management team are the problem and have been for years. The fact that he wasted 4 (?) months at the start of the year, is the problem. Where were all their complaints when BB's come back was pushed back? How very transparent. Just another opportunity to take jabs at iKON (They wouldn't dare try that shit with BB, Vips would've put them in their place real quick) I initially sympathized with them, since what rookie goes more than a year without a comeback (not even 2ne1 did) but then I remember they're all a bunch of ass wipes, who have wished death and all types of evil on iKON.
