Never would I have expected IZ*ONE to make it onto Running Man I just hope this episode isn't boring because that's usually what happens with a bunch of idols

I had low expectations for this "special" episode but it was so nice. They gave us closure on their stories and the way they structured it was very fitting to this season. The interviews were so calm and aesthetic. What a great way to end a great season. Also I can't believe they cut off the legendary hotpack scene. The unreleased longer cut is even better.

None of the final choices surprised me after everything that unfolded earlier in the episode. Looks like Heart Signal always gives us 2 couples and the 1st catfish that enters always ends up in a couple. Can't believe they're going to do a special episode next week without giving us a reunion. We need the tea on GH, IW and the Ikea picture. Well this has been a good season. Was off to a slow start but there were so many great moments after. I was reluctant to get too invested because I didn't want to enjoy watching all these controversial characters but Kangyeol's story was one of the most interesting and I can see why the network powered through and continued broadcasting him. This might just be my favourite season thus far even though the housemates were on the quieter, more reserved side. I mean even Dogyun had his little popping stint. But Inwoo? Imagine him partying it up lol. That would be quite a sight to see. I hope we don't have to wait another 2 years for the next season.

Thank you for breaking my streak. It was getting lonely in here. I was absolutely convinced that Somin was the mother zombie with the way she was acting. That was a great move to pull on her part.

HGxMJ: Loved their date. Cuteness to the max. I think I get Hangyul now. He hadn't sorted out his feelings yet and did not want to give Minjae a definite answer until he was sure which I respect. Hence the vague answers up til now. I think they're going to be the cutest to watch next week. KY: He rejected Anna with tact. God I'm so jealous of people who speak well. JH: She did the right thing by straight up telling him that she picks Kangyeol. I remember people dragging her before for just being the "smiley girl" but she seems level headed. Man that progress. The way she handled the situation with upset Kangyeol was also good. No more hold up. We're getting the finale next week. Hopefully a special reunion after as well. Are we going to get 3 couples? That's a Heart Signal first. Both Kangyeol and Inwoo are running somewhere so I'm inclined to believe that they ended up with the person they picked. And I don't see Hangyul and Minjae changing after this week especially after what he said on the date.

I've been trying to update a post a week but the covid pandemic made me a lot busier rather than the opposite which is slowing down the rate at which I'm updating. And.... a new king emerges! G-Dragon, the long-term #1 placeholder, has now been dethroned by Ravi. Yonghwa also re-emerges to crack the top 10 once again now that he is back from the army.

Not one bit surprised with the lineup. I'm just super glad Mayuka made it. But the group name on the other hand... Nizi would've been cute but they just had to sprinkle some classic kpop in it and throw in an extra letter to make a pun. I wonder what's going to happen to Yuna. I feel like she would've taken the elimination the hardest. Her expression when they were announcing the final member was just heartbreaking.

Sorry Hyunwoo honey but Kangyeol has taken the crown for the most legendary catfish. KYxJH: I'm going to be flabbergasted if they don't end up picking each other. Kangyeol had luck on his side the whole time and hasn't texted anyone but Jihyun. He is pretty much upfront to her about it. None of that wishy washy stuff Inwoo tried to pull. I think she is pretty much set especially after he held her hand at the end. So if Jihyun ends up picking Inwoo I'm just going to ??? HGxMJ: The date was cute af and they seemed to have a lot of fun. But then the mood was killed when Minjae asked Hangyul about how he feels. I don't know if it's just how he is as a person but Hangyul always seems to pick his words carefully and speaks in a round about way. He seems to like her as a person but the romantic attraction just seems to be missing. And that is not his fault. I just hope they don't force a relationship just for the sake of it. IW: He had a good start but fate really f-ed him over with the catfish. Or maybe... fate was trying to direct him to Gaheun but boy was just too blind to see. Is next week going to be the final episode? Or are we going to get Jeju trip day 2 in ep 14. Then the final in ep 15. Will we see G&I pick up their cups?

This has been a crazy season. I don't think I can say I am 100% certain about any of their final choices. For now I'm thinking: Jihyun -> Kangyeol????? I thought that she had her feelings sorted out but ep 12 threw me off. That crying moment between her and Inwoo for sure would've left a deep impression on her. In my head I'm actually leaning towards her picking Inwoo but I want her to pick Kangyeol. Gaheun -> Inwoo. She has proven time and time again that she is the type of person that can drop you in a heartbeat. But I think in the end she will follow her heart. There's no doubt that she still has residual feelings for Inwoo. Minjae -> Hangyul. I see her as the type that will follow through with her heart even though she is hurting. Anna -> Kangyeol? Whoever she goes on the final date with? I don't see her picking Euidong. She seems like someone who seeks a thrill and sweet & calm Euidong just ain't doing it for her. Inwoo -> Gaheun. Only because of the rumours or else I would be guessing Jihyun. Maybe he does pick Jihyun and she doesn't reciprocate and Inwoo & Gaheun became a thing post-show. Hangyul -> Gaheun. He seems more natural and comfortable around her than Minjae. Euidong -> Anna. Same as Minjae. Kangyeol -> Jihyun. He has practically been going all-in on Jihyun this whole time. Seems like it would be hard for him to have a change of heart. Kangyeol & Jihyun still remain my favourite couple. I really do hope that he is a better person now.

I was wondering how they were going edit Youngmin out of a song without making it disjointed and they legit just replaced the audio with Woojin lol I love Donghyun's little groove during the chorus and that hairstyle is a major throwback to P101. Definitely his best look and reminds me of why he was my one pick

Lee Dahee is a babe. I love her even though she stans Mamamoo Final round performance (yes I'm still ranking this shit): Pentagon > ONEUS > ONF > The Boyz > Verivery ONEUS: Come Back Home is the best song. I speak facts only. Camera shots were kind of all over the place but the performance was what I expected for a song like this. I was thrown off when they said vampire concept earlier because it doesn't match the song but it barely even had any elements of it which was good. Leedo should really stick to singing. He sounds so much better. Verivery: Couldn't get into the song. It's got to be borderline cringey like super special girl super natural girl for me to bop along to songs like this. But the stage and concept just screamed Verivery so it was nice to see them play to their strengths. The dancing was on point as well. The Boyz: I'm 50/50 on the song. Kind of like it but kind of don't. It wasn't their best performance but it was definitely very clean and pleasing to the eyes from the outfits down to the stage design. Pentagon: I think everyone can unanimously say that this was their best performance. It always felt like they were trying to be something they weren't apart from the Shine performance but this finally screamed Pentagon. The song and concept also matched well together. Hui really is the heart and soul of Pentagon. He's practically carrying the group now in terms of the singing. ONF: I actually liked how they didn't go into gimmicks. Due to the lack of an audience all the other groups still tried to make use of the 360 stage which I found interesting given that it is a live broadcast and all. The dancing was very clean cut but the song is just not for me. Welp I just rewatched this and they did make use of the stage as well so I was wrong I'm glad The Boyz won because they deserved it especially with all the quality performances they've been putting out

Line distribution has gotten better on this mini Welcome: Such a magical intro. Usually fairy queen Chaewon snatches with these but Minju came for her title on this one. Secret story of the swan: All their title tracks are so similar yet so different. I like how each of them have their own charm. Pretty: I was expecting not to like this one because Wonyoung's tone is so jarring but wtf I love this so much. Such a bop. Merry-go-round: I thought this was going to be my favourite because it sounded like WJSN's Miracle in the preview. I love the chorus but the verses are a bit dull. Rococo: The verses and pre-chorus are The only part that is throwing me off is the Rococo part. With*one: Cute but nothing special. I know it's supposed to be a fan song ok don't trash me Decent mini. But Bloom*iz and Heart*iz still reign superior.
