Ep 500: Kind of average episode for me. They've had a nice run since the switch to Bopil PD but this one kind of fell flat. Wish they went big for ep 500 but it's understandable given the current climate and also Somin's health. I'm sure they will have a big project later on when the time is right. Funniest moments came from Sukjin in the second game. From "Kwansoo" to being too lazy to move the cushion. Best guest was probably Bomi to no surprise. Highlight is probably how they incorporated Somin into the race. Glad she got to participate and the prize itself was very Somin-like

Surprised with the amount of Mimi. I feel like she always gets the short end of the stick. The song is cute but not title track worthy

I've loved every single one of Chungha's singles thus far but this one just isn't doing it for me

The episode seems far too short. It's nice that they're giving each girl airtime to show their training backstory but at this rate we're going to be watching the first mission for 3 episode straight. So far Miihi > Rio > Akari Rio: Everyone be pointing out that glow up but she was already pretty af in the Be My Baby performance. Her skills are still rough around the edges and her singing was definitely unstable but she knows how to work the stage. I would say that she would be a better pick than Ayaka to fill the visual spot. Akari: This just wasn't her day. I think she has potential to be a decent singer and a potential good addition to the group. But her dancing and facial expressions were also all over the place in the performance. She seems to lack confidence and her nerves definitely showed. Miihi: She will undoubtedly be the Nayeon of the group. She already gives off the same vibes. Given that she has had formal training, it is to no ones surprise that her performance would be a lot more polished than the others.

Definitely. I do feel like the vibe is getting progressively calmer as the seasons go by. Might also be because they don't have a social personality to lead the group this time round so it's taking longer for everyone to get to know each other. Season 1 had Kang Sungwook (who ended up being absolute trash but that's a different story) and season 2 had Jaeho. Both outspoken and knew how to build the group atmosphere. The studio cast hasn't really impressed me yet this season. I feel like something is missing and I preferred when they were able to make their own individual guesses. They would naturally split into teams instead of forcing this team effort thing they've been doing. Sangmin is weird but I can see why they keep him. Him spouting his weird nonsense keeps the show entertaining. Eana and doctor are the show's veterans so no complaints thought doctor seems to be underperforming a bit this time. P.O is the only new cast member that naturally blends in for me. Siyoon and Hyejin haven't really offered much to the show. They are kind of just there to fill seat numbers I guess.

Much better episode this week. I didn't want to be that person but Jihyun seems like a lovely girl and all but she just doesn't make for good tv content no offence. Euidong & Minjae: Sweet couple. They are very calming to watch. Minjae really is such a charming girl the more you see her. I like them together but I can sense that they are each other's second choice which is a shame. Inwoo & Gaheun: Most entertaining date. They had the longest airtime for a reason. Gaheun went full force and even managed to make Inwoo flustered with how direct she was. I would say that Inwoo is still interested in Jihyun most but Gaheun might just pull a Hyunjoo if she can keep it up. Hangyul & Jihyun: Boring date. I think they just aren't compatible. Hangyul tried to suss out Jihyun's feelings for Inwoo but I think that was a bad move on his part.

Ep 499: Lee Dohyun MVP. Didn't think much of him on the first guesting but you can see that he found his footing and he performed well this time round. He just got himself a new fan.

Nekkoya is the true masterpiece. You bet I'm still going to jamming to it at the age of 70. Produce did release a bunch of good songs though. P48 and PX101 concept songs are just back to back hits. The final songs from PX101 are also excellent. Still have them all on my playlist My personal favourites are: S1: In The Same Place S2: Never 48: Rumor X: Pretty girl - This is competing with Nekkoya as my all time favourite Produce song. It's just so simple, pure, and quintessentially kpop. Not even Seungyoun in To My World could make me swerve from this masterpiece. I'm actually bitter that Cravity didn't go down this route when their boys practically owned this song.

Any thoughts on the new PD? I think he is doing well. The episodes so far have been pretty funny. But the real challenge will be how he does going forward. Running Man does often fall into the trap of rehashing games and ideas over and over. The female guests from the latest episode (Lee Jooyoung and Ji Yisoo) were so pretty. It was nice to see some new faces guesting, no shade I love Hanna as well. It's just nice to see some lesser known celebrities once in a while.

The song has grown on me but I'm still part bitter that Minhee debuted (again) with a lacklustre song.

This was not very good. I was expecting the group to be more boyish(?) but they just went with watered down Monsta X. Not even all those Minhee parts could redeem it for me. Surprised that there was so little Hyeongjun. I mean I know his voice is grating to listen to but he is a good dancer and popular so it feels like they underused him. I do like the rap parts though.

Nooooo just when things were going to start getting interesting I backtracked to see if any of the current cast members were the ones who are rumored to be controversial. I am down to participate in voting. I'm not active enough and an old fart in terms of these things though so I wouldn't know how to OP the thread. Not that many active AB6IX fans on the forum though so I don't know how it will go.

Never realised this before but all these groups are quite large in number... I wonder if they got to pick the songs themselves. The Boyz weren't even on my radar but the fact that they performed Taemin and didn't go for his most famous song Move gets bonus points from me
