  1. The other 99 members on PD101CN are also Chinese. lol BTW, Big Bang does not have a Chinese member neither does TARA. Those are the two biggest KPOP acts in China by revenue.
  2. Something to get off my chest, just saying IZ ONE sounds goofy. Almost as bad as Rocket Girls (but at least that is easy to say and remember.) The two PD seasons this year had kinda marred their products with poor names unlike S1and S2 tbh.
  3. You talk about Sakura’s or AKB’s fandom in China but KPOP as a whole and Produce 101 as a brand are far more bigger in China than Sakura or AKB. Fandoms of WJSN members Meiqi and Xuanyi spent over $2M each to get their KPOP biases into the debuting lineup. Also Rocket Girls sold over 1.5 million copies of their first single (in spite of 3 members being out on contract disputes) which is an indication of PD101’s popularity. You think IZONE won’t get at least a fraction of that? IZONE will sell among Chinese fans more for the KPOP and PD 101 branding than AKB or Sakura.
  4. LOL. Sunnee and Yamy look kinda awkward in skirts. But OT8 is really attractive in that picture. Liu Danmeng and Sunnee! I miss Danmeng. I thought she was so fucking sexy beautiful in the show with vocals and dance skills to match. China was stupid to drop her so early.
  5. 1. Minjoo (BEAUTIFUL) 2. Wonyoung (BEAUTIFUL) 3. Yena (cute, lovable and funny) 4. Eunbi (beautiful and STACKED) 5. Nako (super cute midget)
  6. All this was expected, right? After the $ millions spent during the voting, I think the accountants and finance analysts could chart a pretty confident investment course. It takes money to make money but if you know there is demand then making that initial investment is easier. The huge volume of work that Tencent has lined up even with the MeiXuaNing drama is indicative of company confident in its product.
  7. The IFans can go fuck themselves. Disliking a kid?! Koreans like her and she’ll be the center of the group so go stan something else who cares
  8. It was never “global†in the sense of the world. It was named PD48 with direct reference to the AKB group so it was always just Japanese girls being allowed into a Korean show. A Korean show that was ALWAYS meant to pick the Korean NATION’s GG. Maybe in the future we’ll have a Produce World. But who knows? Allowing the world to vote would mean the countries with biggest population will inevitably stack their girls into the debuting group. Just as allowing Jaoan to vote would have stacked IZONE full of Japanese. The format might just not work fairly cross borders.
  9. Amazing! Zining is a main vocal with top notch visuals. She’s a complete package. But on this group, she is behind two other power vocals who has OSTs already. LoL Talking about power vocals, I’m becoming mesmerized by Aojuan. Sixteen years old? With those pipes? Even before training? Two years of training and growing. I can’t imagine how beautiful both her voice and visual will be when RG is done.
  10. Gooks? Fuck you. That’s a racial slur used on all East Asians, you racist retarded piece of shit. And here on a Hallyu forum and on a Korean show? Get the fuck out of here, you racist piece of shit.
  11. Are you kidding me? Two of the top three visuals did not even make the finale. Skillwise, other than Miyu’s vocals, the Korean trainees were far beyyer than the AKB veterans and that was established from day one.
  12. IZONE. Still pronounces it as one no matter what they say. I like it though. I hope Eunbi, Yujin, Yena and Minju all make it. So far, this is less stressful than lask week for some reason.
  13. Well, Amber is uncommon in Kpop. And she’s Taiwanese. Just like the trainer on PD101 China, Ella. I heard that one of the stars from the China’s “Super Girl†survival show was like Sunnee. Short-hair tomboys is more of a CPOP/Chinese thing than Korean to be honest.
