A friend of mine mentioned that in all the pics you can’t see both of them together because the photo has been cropped or taken (by the hacker, as in the hacker took a photo of a photo on an iPhone with his iPhone) in a way that always cuts out or obscures one or both of their faces. The pic with the MacBook jpeg files is the only one where you can see them both but they’re obviously far too blurry and pixelated to actually tell. none of this is saying it’s not them or the pics aren’t real, by now we know it’s them cause contextually it’s too obvious. But perhaps this new leaker is trying to add fuel to the fire by “proving” taennie is real while also avoiding legal trouble by obscuring their faces

agreed but i dont expect people to want to talk about it in the taennie thread since thats everyone just talking about the leaker/hacker. and i want taehyung to be bi lol, i just dont think its reasonable to say no matter what that he is when it doesnt appear likely, like we have to cover all bases here.

nah yall dont get it, i am bi and before this i was the leader of taehyung bi advocacy. the issue is jennie, like nothing against her as a person but she comes across as so heterosexual, like particularly heterosexual. the kind who would be very grossed out at the idea of a bi man, the kind who would say he's just gay. the kind who would say love is love for the likes but would also say gay people dont have to kiss in front of her. for taehyung to be dating her and actually be happy in the relationship not only means he's straight, it means he's that kind of straight. its giving me a brain aneurysm to believe, but i've seen the pics. idk what else to think. unless he's secretly unhappy

this entire experience has thrown the weirdest cog into my perception of taehyung's sexuality. a month ago he practically came out in paris. ive never been more confused

as much as i get most or a lot of people are trying to ~debunk~ the pics for ridiculous reasons in ridiculous ways i think it's fair to acknowledge that the pics are legitimately weird. i cannot get over a hacker apparently having access to either jennie's personal insta or her icloud and of ALL the options this is what they chose. this either means the hacker thought these pictures were the most convincing (possibly) or that these were the only pictures of them at all (within a timeline that presumes they've been dating at least since jeju, so months now). without even getting into the pics looking edited (not saying they are, just saying they're odd looking) the total lack of chemistry is weird, especially for a new relationship. the whinnie the pooh one is so fucking funny because if you look closely taehyung is holding a bar or rail behind jennie instead of putting his arm around her. in the second pic he's on his phone, the first one they're 5 feet apart. in all of them jennie is the one taking the pic. they both seem wooden. i know they're just pictures but i can't shake how funny and dull they are to me, for 2 of the hottest kpop idols in apparently a new whirlwind romance these were the options? its just sus to me, it's hard to me to just shrug and accept it because it's so odd. if they had of released pics ala edawn and hyna different story, if they were even looking at each other, had relaxed and close body language, anything else, it would be a lot more undeniable. but so far after 3 pics i feel like for the most part people are the on the fence. the stuff that convinces me the pics or relationship is real aren't the actual pics but rather the context of yg, hybe and "i want to shoot them with poison darts" taehyung being silent as well as all the accessories and clothing that were matching on them + taehyung's apartment picture & the pics of them in general not existing elsewhere. that's what convinces me, the surrounding stuff, not the actual pics. it either means something fishy is going on and these aren't real or jennie and taehyung were really together in those pics but they either aren't dating, are fake dating for pr or are dating but probably shouldn't be because neither of them like each other lmao (for whatever reason)

the hacker changing their mind is possibly the worst outcome cause now i can't get closure as to whether they're entirely real or not and it's driving me mad lmao

is anyone else still struggling to understand whether the pics are real or not then? the behaviour of the hacker is so confusing and makes it seem like a hoax, but there are a lot of sus coincidences in the pics for them to be fake

this entire situation is so puzzling and feels off in every way. if i decide that it's faked, it doesn't add up - the pictures may look fake/weird/uncanny but there are too many coincidences and clothing items and stuff that match, there aren't convincing source pictures for each of them, it's of taehyung's apartment without a doubt and they're all mirror selfies that jennie took (meaning someone had to have taken the photo, not taehyung). and why havent yg or hybe said anything? but then if they're real, why was the leaker so weird about all of this? why be so slow to leak photos, why insist on getting their og twitter account back instead of releasing them all at once on a throwaway, why build up suspense and make polls? why promise that you definitely will release another photo within a given timeframe and then suddenly change your mind? why are the photos so dull and devoid of a shred of chemistry? neither answer adds up.

i need to know whether he posted this announcement because he was paid off and no longer feels a need to leak more OR because he was bluffing and didn't have anything else

are they clearly them lol. sure, it does look like them and the clothes & accessories they're wearing all add up - but if he has access to her whole insta how can there not be videos or clearer, more damning evidence. all these pics have been so odd and dull and uncanny and even though they're almost certainly real both because jennie is the one taking the pics in mirrors and it would be so much work to edit that (i.e. if not jennie, somebody else would have had to have taken the photo since taehyung isnt), and also the reaction from hybe is sus and so on, they look so fake and edited. so if this is the best he has his excuses about not caring to supply more or not needing to because "its obvs them" and "im waiting for hybe and yg to respond" is not convincing to me. i just think if they are in this new-ish relationship together and this is jennie's priv insta there would be way more pics to leak than these ones
