yeah cuz i've seen boobjob scars on armpits before and that place on chaewon was a strange place to put an incision on you know? also hyuna for sure had one done and i never noticed anything on her armpit area. maybe she put on make up or had scar fading laser on that area, or maybe she had her boobjob done through a cut around her boobs instead of a more visible place like her armpits.

It's kinda weird how Chaewon's supposedly boobjob scar was there though? Isn't it normally be under your armpit or some where under your boobs so that the scar can be easily hidden? But yeah I won't be surprised if her current size change is due to a boobjob. Many think that having boobjob = increasing your boobs to the size of two melons but seriously a lot of people just choose to do a slight enhancement that suits their body type well. Both Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid had it done and their boobs are not crazily big, they suit their bodies really well. That's how plastic surgery should aim to look like tbh, a slight enhancement that harmonizes well with the rest of a person's face/body.

I think Hendery has the thick double eyelids with thick sagging skin kinda eyes (like me!) and once in a few years he'd have a plasma eyelift to tighten up the sagging skin on his lids to make them appear more prominent. This particular kind of surgery is not invasive (or not super invasive) so their benefit is not permanent like an actual blepheroplasty. I think in the award pictures above, Hendery just got the eyelift recently done hence the super tight look. I guess it'll appear more natural over time. (and then i'll get saggy in a few years and he'd have to do it again)

Gosh this is so unhealthy? And triggering to read about too. Also according to her profile she's 162cm tall and even if she's adding a few cm it she'd still be at least 158cm tall to me. I'm 158cm at 44kg and everyone around me (I live in Asia btw) is telling me I need to eat more because I look too skinny. I can't imagine being 38-39kg like even my 150cm mom is not that light (she's a few kg heavier than me in fact). I know each person stores fat differently and that might affect how they look irl (as in, some people can look real skinny but still fall into the healthy category in term of general health) but I don't think this weight at this height is ok at all? And to think a veteran like Sandara still succumbs to unhealthy beauty standards like this and even open talks about it like it's no big deal... No wonder all the kid idols these days are looking like stick figures. It's just sad.

From some ex trainees' stories (If we can believe them), the company would suggest fixing certain features on a trainee's face (like with Akmu Suhyun she was suggested to have a nose job which she declined) and it's up to the trainee to agree or not, but generally they'd agree because the surgery fee is paid for by the company (if it's a mid tier and up one) and they're desperate to please management to debut. Not sure about parental consent but PS is so common in Korea they prolly don't care if it's just some double eyelid or minor nose job surgery (which LeeSeo had - still fucked up that she had ps at such a young age but the work she did wasn't that severe).

I talked to my friend about this thread last week and said "the only person this thread agreed to have never been under the knife is Shuhua" and she agreed, saying that Shuhua and Sulli are the two beauties that's so unique that any severe touch up could've seriously ruined the harmony of their faces. She said their features induvidually aren't "top notch" (ie they don't have the biggest eyes, tallest nose, smallest faces etc) but together all their features blend so well to give off this soft, soothing-to-look-at feeling when you see them. It's the kinda beauty that no surgery can re-create.

As a Viet, I'd have to say that Vietnamese people don't have the best rep in Japan atm so it's safer to not include Hanbin in their Japanese group. Also Hanbin has a massive Viet + SEA fanbase so it probably works better for him (and BH) to focus on those markets instead.

Well the the new rule was just established last year, so it left a lot of 89/90 liners who still abided by the previous rule (which allowed entertainers to postpone until 30 years old). The Korean government is slowly trying to get everyone to enlist by 28 now and I guess by 2020/2021 everyone will do.

The contract would probably end in late summer 2024 and seeing how "random" enlistment notice is now (the enlistment can come in January or October and artists have to enlist as soon as they receive it), I think 96-liners are still a risky choice for Mnet? Didn't both Xiumin and Jisung have to enlist this May? I don't know, I just think it'll be super weird if the group's final concert doesn't have full 11 members in it... Or maybe if older trainees got into the final group, Mnet will make them enlist in the non exclusive latter half of their contract so that they can have all 11 members for their last comeback/promotion/concert? Edit: Enlistment age is now 28 years old (international age) for everyone.

With the contract being 5 yr long this time (which means it'll make the most sense to only choose trainee who were born from 1997/1998 upward because they won't be 28 by the time the contract ends), do you think Mnet will try to weed out older trainees as the show goes on? Wooseok, Sejin, Suengyeon, etc are doing really well right now but I'm afraid Mnet will try to pull some strings to get them eliminated, sooner or later...
