  1. Source U.S. and North Korean negotiators broke off high-level nuclear talks after months of negotiations between the two countries. Reuters reported Saturday that North Korea's top official present for negotiations with the U.S. told reporters that the U.S. had brought nothing to the table for the latest round of talks. “The negotiations have not fulfilled our expectation and finally broke off,” Kim Myong Gil said. "The U.S. raised expectations by offering suggestions like a flexible approach, new method and creative solutions, but they have disappointed us greatly and dampened our enthusiasm for negotiation by bringing nothing to the negotiation table," he added, according to Reuters. In a statement Saturday afternoon, the State Department said Kim's comments "do not reflect the content or the spirit of today's 8 1/2 hour discussion," and added that the U.S. had accepted an invitation from Swedish officials to return in two weeks for more negotiations. It was unclear whether North Korean officials have formally declined the invitation. "At the conclusion of our discussions, the United States proposed to accept the invitation of our Swedish hosts to return to Stockholm to meet again in two weeks time,in order to continue discussions on all of the topics. The United States delegation has accepted this invitation," the State Department said. "The United States and the DPRK will not overcome a legacy of 70 years of war and hostility on the Korean Peninsula through the course of a single Saturday. These are weighty issues, and they require a strong commitment by both countries. The United States has that commitment," a spokesperson added. The halt in negotiations came a month after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un invited President Trump to Pyongyang, the first time such an invitation was extended to a U.S. president. In early August, Trump told reporters that he thought another meeting with Kim was possible, but U.S. officials have not yet announced plans for a third summit between the two leaders.
  2. So much has happened...where to even begin? I want to talk about Dongpyo from X1, but he's still a kid and we all know what happened last time...
  3. This thread needs to be archived or something, or continued elsewhere maybe? I'm not quite sure what to do about it. Is Hallyuland reliable?
  4. He also said he was a regular on a big radio show.
  5. Why are you still acting like you were a victim here? As far as I know, nobody made you respond to the fake complaints in the gay thread and delete all but the actual offensive posts there. You also said on the shawol discord that you were going to ban whoever kept taking screenshots of your conflicting posts and told them to die in a fire, which makes you seem both disingenuous and unprofessional af. And I'm still waiting for receipts that anyone ever threatened your family. If that were true, why was the offending account reinstated?
  6. This is the thread's new theme song I guess, so I put it in the OP under the mod declaration.
  7. It's nice to know that the mods in the ask a mod thread would rather talk about anime than reply to my post. Here's what I posted (in response to Darkchao45) Darkchao45, on 16 Mar 2019 - 2:03 PM, said: Gee, I wonder? You only called us all the equivalent of crazy tabloid speculators spinning fantasies and implied that we were victimizing minors by talking about them in an LGBT friendly space. We've heard this kind of BS from trolls in the thread for years, and from acquaintances and relatives who push this heteronormative BS in real life as well. You clearly do not read the thread and are making a blanket assumption based on years of misrepresentation of what the thread contains and is about. Also, to top off how silly and embarrassing this all is, the 2 idols mentioned that began the debate weren't even minors. You can say this is some sudden response to years of complaints you've been putting off about minors in the thread, but I know that isn't true. I and many others have complained for years about people breaking the thread rules, harassing users, going off topic, etc, and nothing has been done about it. The very best we get is a mod coming in, deleting everything (except the offending posts, usually) and then leaving like nothing happened. We're treated like an embarrassment that you guys barely even want to acknowledge exists. And people aren't that upset because you're trying to tone down discussion of minors, they're upset because this is, whether intentional or not, a misrepresentation of what is discussed in the thread and chillingly reminiscent of homophobic stereotypes that suggest that gays, especially gay men, are all pedophiles and only ever care about sex. We've had years of double standards of other threads speculating about the sexualities of supposed heterosexual idols (minors included) and never heard a peep from you guys. Your comment about the offensiveness of "pushing labels" is also a joke, because again, discussion of supposed heterosexual idols never provokes those kinds of responses. The thread has always been meant to be a safe space for LGBT kpop fans and unlike what your comment suggests, does contain years of people sharing their experiences and stories. We kind of had to make it that after you guys kept redirecting or merging ANY gay content on the site into the thread. This was a wrong move on your part.
  8. Remember when Kangmin from Romeo more or less came out during an early interview and we were shook here at his bravery for doing such a thing in such a conservative and heteronormative society? How we found it inspiring and hopeful for the coming generation? He then went on to wear clothes for girls and kiss other members when he thought he was off cam. I guess we were all really just pedophiles back then. Not the interviewer though, because they assumed he was het. We may not have known, but the mods...their MINDS!
  9. If the search function hadn't been broken for a year I could provide tons of instances of the majority of users in the thread telling others not to ship or sexualize. But like I said in the ask a mod thread, BECAUSE of the mods, this thread more or less became "the gay thread" where everything gay was redirected. It wasn't just what it says in the title anymore. I wouldn't have minded if this thread had remained a strict speculation thread, but according to Darkchao, speculation is bad too apparently, even when we are basing it on things that are publicly available. You gays and your "fantasies!" Shame on you! Smh

  11. It should be unlocked now so you can even give us a chance to respond to the twisted narrative he was creating. He even asked us to explain.
  12. Unlock the gay thread. You guys went way too far this time.
  13. Broduce is finally starting again...I hope we get tons of gays.
  14. These familiar faces...the Discord may not have worked out the best, but at least we can agree when OH pulls this BS on us, lol...
  15. People can be gay at 16 and earlier, lol. This thread is for discussion and speculation on who might be gay. As long as minors are not sexualized, they can be discussed. People don't get all pressed when heterosexuals talk about minors dating or being interested in the opposite sex, etc, so the homophobic double standards here are quite obvious...
  16. He also said he doesn't believe lesbians even exist and are only pretending because they hate men. He's not exactly a gay icon.
  17. I expect the name to change. I trust YG will continue to roll this out as messily as possible....
  18. ...Or you could just keep this as the thread for the show since there are hundreds of pages of discussion covering it here and it's what people seem to want...
