Ugh that smile :( it's really nice to know that Liam left such a good impression. These kinds of things give me life when they're in the U.S. Also ranking: 1. So What This doesn't mean I don't recognize the songs lower on my list as great songs and also my ranking in terms of what seems to be technically the best on the album would be different. My ranking for lyrics would also be different (ie Magic Shop, Love Maze and Paradise would be way up there lyrics-wise). My opinion keeps changing tho, when I first heard the album Anpanman really was not a fav haha.

I think that was among my favorite Joon speeches :( acknowledging that their music changes lives like that. I'm fine, really. Also I think the Tyra interactions are great and I could definitely get behind more of this.

I enjoy the fact that every hypothesis I saw before their outfits were revealed was like "lace, deep v necks, harnesses, leather, see thru shirts" and Bighit stylists said "lol vacation" instead. It's 75 degrees in New York right now so I can't imagine it's comfy in Las Vegas, I don't blame them. I'm hoping their outfits are received okay though, that's all.

Omfg, the Vogue video was absolute gold. I'm usually allergic to vids and other media of them in America because I hate how they're treated in interviews but I'd kill for more content like this. Just them having fun in L.A. Perfect. The article is super good too and I got a kick out of "Jungkook, the youngest, is so striking in person, an audible hush falls when he enters, startling him slightly". :') and Hoseok's "tell him thank you for worrying about us!" The article even makes note of everything I / we hate in American interviews (stupid questions like "do you dance?") and ugh I'm just so happy with it. ALSO of course, congrats to the boys for another daesang!

Every single day the boys prove that they truly are good, humble people and I think it’s incredible. It could be so easy for people in their positions to get unkind and bigheaded but here they are, telling us that we’re the most precious gifts & helping to foster a more healthy relationship between us and them. For seven 20 somethings to willingly forego getting more gifts is something else imo. I think this whole thing was 100% the right decision and all of their statements so far have been perfect.

I strongly relate & would like to add that the cards in ssbts have also made me realize that Seokjin has never had a bad era. The man has looked flawless consistently through their entire career. How does he do it.

Ah yeah, peachboy’s translation was posted here & it said “photoshopped†so that’s why I said it, but they actually took it down & wrote a new translation using the word “combined†just recently. I hadnt originally thought he’d done anything to the picture myself. Anyway the fact that he has an R of himself amuses me greatly & I hope he has it set as his beloved card.

i'm dying at the fact that he's really playing this game. he's really out here buying packs and trying to collect cards of all his friends. he's literally the cutest. EDIT: omg... he photoshopped these pictures because he wasn't getting the R's he wanted. what a dork. the point still stands, he's playing ssbts and he's bein cute about it. suffering with the rest of us over trying to get R's.

it wasn't a US interview, actually, it was a UK interview and a documentary. bts interview: documentary: the documentary's about kpop but apparently has a lot of bts in it? i haven't watched yet and idk if i will honestly. this is just a general note, but i briefly caught a second of it while linking this and they're talking about how hard it is to get into the korean bts fanclub (needing to own a certain amount of merch, etc) and i don't like the emphasis being put on owning the lightstick and etc. i think it's portraying being a fan as something way more materialistic than it has to be. i also saw this article (here) talking about "what we learned from the kpop documentary" and literally the first point is about owning stuff to be a "true fan"- i hate that that was the takeaway. but maybe that's just me. aw! i'm glad you got to know mang through me, then. i love hoseok and i love mang by association.<3 (even though my mom just saw my mang plushie and told me she didn't like him and i should've gotten chimmy... haha)

this is one of the members of forever in your mind, a western boy group who was interviewed recently. they were asked about bts and he was generally pretty closed-minded about them. members of the group said things about how they'd never gain lasting respect in america without a song with "american lyrics" (yes, they said american, not english- i'm not over that) and other stuff. there was one member, i don't know which, who was open-minded and defended bts. here's a bit of the video- https://twitter.com/makeoutjimin/status/953518583698436096 personally, i just found it funny that he thought he was relevant enough to say some of the stuff he said about bangtan with as much confidence as he did.
