yeah I think they started really being close during 2nd evaluation since that was when Kuanlin started being confident and he mentioned about Jihoon helping him with his confidence. We also had pics of them from that evaluation together. I doubt Jihoon wanted or even expect Kuanlin to be in dance nor the latter expect Jihoon to choose rap. Kuanlin choosing dance would have been him committing P101 career suicide Yep ~ And the ship rose so much because of that kiss. The impact it had was quite huge. Fans of both have speculated PanWink might actually be close but since we pretty much didn't get any legit interaction at all that would show them as more than just P101 acquaintances, the sudden very tight hug from Kuanlin to Jihoon when he was announced sorta surprised everyone. Then the unexpected kiss happened.
