You feel that way because he's not used correctly! Jackson is literally the Amber of GOT7. He's rapping because WHY NOT and more often than not it sounds corny. He was ace in "Good Tonight". I truly have a severe issue with JYP and how he utilizes people, it's like he's trying to bring back a second coming of 2PM but tbh even half of 2PMs choreography was corny af because he had them trying to rap all the time too. He truly gives me the aura of a greasy old man that wants to be some young hoodlum running around with swayguh~ and he tries to model his male idols after this same image. Bambam is beautiful though so I don't mind his rapping as much. What can I say? I'm shallow af.

WHY I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED~ For GOT7, it's more a matter of untapped ability and potential. Whereas I absolutely detest how basic, vanilla, and overblown Twice is, I actually think GOT7 is very talented and yet for every 1 song they get that lives up to it, there are 2 or 3 that sound like songs that would have gone to 2PM at one point. GOT7 are capable of choreography that is far above what I've seen them get, and when they finally DO get choreography that lives up to what they can do with Fly, the song just sounds stupid. No one's voice is used properly, JB sounds like an idiot in the beginning, and they keep making Jackson posture like some hard ass rapper and I'm not feeling it. I'm not feeling any of it. In my opinion, songs like "Like Oh" and "Good Tonight" were far closer to what I should be hearing from them. Fly is just cheesy to me. I think JYP has an issue with giving his male artists songs that he wishes he could still do, as showcased by the cheesy shit he himself goes on to showcase.
