Welcome to my page!  I'm a big KPOP fan, but I also love JPOP and JROCK just as much.  Here are my favorite soloists and KPOP groups along with my current biases right now:

I also follow a few soloists and groups when new releases come out, such as Lovelyz, Heize, Sunmi, Hyuna, Chungha, SHINee, T-ara, NCT groups, Twice, Pristin, Seventeen, EXID and AOA.

 

For disbanded groups I loved KARA (my 1st bias group and Hammie is still my UB), Rainbow (Jaekyung), Sistar (Bora), and 2NE1 (Dara).

 

For JPOP, it's all Hello! Project groups, Namie Amuro, Arashi, Yamapi, Kame to Yamapi, DAOKO, Ringo Shiina and Perfume.

 

For JROCK it's SCANDAL, Hello Sleepwalkers, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, The Oral Cigarettes, Frederic, BAND-MAID, Unlucky Morpheus, Gacharic Spin, HITORIE, Sakanaction, indigo la End and Gesu no Kiwami Otome.

 

My ultimate favorite music artist and performer of all time is the goddess Maki Goto.

 

 

​She has it all:  god-tier visuals, an excellent singing voice, a great dancer, stage presence and charisma.  When she was introduced as the only 3rd generation audition winner for Morning Musume as a 13-year old, she instantly started buzz within the idol community and as a result they because a National Girl Group with the million seller Love Machine.  She followed this up with another million seller with her subgroup Petitmoni and Chokotto Love.  After several singles and albums with Morning Musume she graduated from the group in 2003 and became a successful soloist in both Up Front and with her Sweet Black project in Avex.

 

Her success as an icon came at a heavy price, she had many personal issues and scandals which are best summarized with the following link:

​Gomaki has been on hiatus from the music scene since 2011 but has made a couple of live appearances with the Morning Musume OG's in 2012 and 2014.  She has since focused on her family life as she has married a non-celebrity and has two beautiful children.  She still has work every once in awhile, she was involved with Night1 in 2017 as you can see here:
