  1. I think the song needed a climactic moment towards the end, it's frustrating me a little bit as I listen because it feels like it's building and building and building and then -- Nothing. It ends on an intake of breath instead of an exhalation, you know? Eh. I can see how this will hurt its replayability for a lot of people, which is sad because it's great in every other way.
  2. Okay, but guys, imagine if we get this live with a FULL ORCHESTRA???? I may actually expire.
  3. I'm excited to hear this live. I do wish there was more harmonies in the back end though -- but I think if that little intro they did at MBC Gayo is any indication, the live version of this will have a few more harmonies thrown in in place of the instrumental on the actual track.
  4. Ah, that's very true. I'll check it out on Spotify in a bit.
  5. Ah, never mind. The official video on 1theK has translation.
  6. Someone holler when there's translation up. They look really beautiful though.
  7. Me: *found clinging to life by a fingernail in a ditch somewhere* I can't. They all look dreamy. I'm not sure I'm ready.
  8. When did this come out? It's a bop. Thanks for the edit.
  9. Someone made a full edit with all the teasers and the spoilers from MBC, and honestly, I'm drooling like an idiot waiting for my ears to be blessed by the power ballad of the century. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnxRuA3F9UU
  10. I was thinking about this earlier (because I was rewatching Sampo, Wonderful Confession and Delilah) and it really did strike me that those performances are when we really see them cut loose, vocally, creatively, performance-wise and their enormous range as artists (well IS and obviously the moosicals, but only the fans get to see those so it's not the face they present to the public). It makes me really excited for this era to get to see them show these dimensions that only IS audiences have glimpsed, and us fans who follow them closely really know.
  11. Hwasa's soulmate and one of her three BFFs, Wheein!
  12. Also, Hwasa has never looked this beautiful to me. This is already her best era visually. I audibly gasped when I saw her in that soft-focus group shot.
  13. Looks like we'll have two (maybe three) outfit changes. I'm in love with Moon's outfit. I love how they all have a distinct style and vibe in and of themselves. Man, much like Little Mix, it's such a treasure to have a girl group that is so distinct and full of character as individuals and as the whole. They don't come around often at all. The rollout of this single is immaculate.
  14. Well they've killed me. Byul sounds gorgeous, she has such a rich timbre to her voice. Guh, and she looks bloody amazing. And then Hwasa coming in with her characteristic voice. I'M NOT READY FOR WHAT THIS SONG IS GOING TO GIVE US. This is a whole other level for MMM, I just feel like that's what it'll be and it'll be huge for them. So fitting that it's now when Byul has found the confidence to share her lovely singing voice with the world, this era they are all coming for our blood.
  15. Guh at those Solar and Hwasa pics. All of their make-up has been so on point lately, they finally found the right foundation for Hwasa (I hope), it's not so greasy and her highlight on the cheekbones is so great (personal headcanon is she's using Fenty Beauty since she's Rih's biggest stan, lol). They're so gorgeous, help.
  16. Hwasa and Solar's memos are breaking my heart a little bit. I wish all four of these wonderful women an amazing 2018, may they only grow more successful and achieve everything their hearts desire. Excited to hear that Mix9 song.
  17. Oh, the first few harmonies in that medley have to be a spoiler for Paint Me, right?
  18. YASSSSS, THEY KILLED THAT. Oh my god, I felt like an idiot just grinning throughout their performance and hooting and hollering like I'm at a horse race. They're brilliant. Utterly brilliant. I wish their medley and the opera one were longer!
  19. Guh, she looks so hot. I'm not going to survive this.
  20. Edit: Does this mean they won't be at the festival tomorrow? This list has them for tomorrow, so I'll go with that.
  21. One thing I'm digging is the hairstyles they're currently sporting, particularly Hwasa with the long hair. It took me a minute to come round to it because I love her with the chin-length bob. But she looks so glamorous with this hairstyle, it's beautiful. And it plays off her features really well. Wheein with the bob is magnificent, it really suits her, she looks so chic and sophisticated.
  22. Also really thankful to all the Moomoos who've been dispelling the many lies people have been spreading about Mamamoo on 'stan Twitter'. Some sour people tried to straight up make up a whole list of things Mamamoo has done (they've done blackface five times! they're evil and racist!) -- and while we all know they have made some bad missteps -- they have at least apologised when pointed out, or made those mistakes in complete ignorance, and have hopefully learned. There's nothing more tiring than seeing fans of groups that regularly do things like sport cornrows, have used the N-word and appropriate African American culture (and never apologise!) attempt to come for Mamamoo. So BIG thank you to the people who calmly and thoroughly laid out the facts so people could have an informed understanding of Mamamoo's past mistakes etc. I think they brought even more people into the radish field.
  23. Not performing Sleep in the Car - at least the first verse - was a big missed opportunity.
