I didn't see this posted if it was I'm sorry lol....but anyway I wanted to get y'alls opinion on this. I just watched this, now even though some parts made me cringe like hell, I don't think it was that bad. They start talking about BTS at 23:55 and it goes on till about 35:00

 

 

Someone needs to tell that kid that 'American' is not a language.

I do agree with some things that they said, mostly with Zach though, but other things just sounded like they were trying really hard to make themselves look so special and 'not like normal boy-bands'(kinda funny really, because they really were trying to make it seem like they are ok with the term but at the same time they were distancing themselves from it the best they could) and in end they just sounded close-minded and a bit arrogant. 

But I love Zach, after his interview with BTS I started watching his older interviews and really grew to like him.

I'm not 100% an Army (getting very close  ) but I immediately dived into the one written by Dr. Doty after watching their performance and finished it a while ago. It was a great read and even though the book itself wouldn't have a lot to bring to the table as a comeback concept, there is a quote that sums up the author's message particularly well and that I think the boys would very much appreciate and would want to spread among Armies:

 

“We are on a journey of connection. It is the journey of opening our heart to our fellow beings on this earth and recognizing that they are our sisters and brothers. Recognizing that one act of compassion leads to another act of compassion, and so on across the globe. In the end, how well we love each other and how well we take care of each other will be what determines the survival of our planet and our species.â€

This is a beautifully written memoir about beautiful human connections. I would definitely read H. G. Wells' novel (or short story?) now, and from what I've gathered I think that one might serve as some comeback concept material better, at least aesthetically.

 

Wells' The Magic Shop is a short story, only 10 pages long, is party of the book 'Twelve stories and a Dream'.

I'm planning to read Dr. Doty's book next, I just watched his

The book seems to really be about stuff that the boys have been talking about and living (to some extent), I can see how they could tie that to the Highlight Reels and make it a concept, or maybe they will mix both books? I honestly have no ideia. I'm just enjoying the literature and hoping for the best. lol. 

So I finished reading HG Wells' The Magic Shop and was reading more about it, then I discovered that in 1964 during the second season of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour there was an episode of the same name that was based from Wells' story. The link to the episode for those curious. It's quite interesting... 

As for the short story, I enjoyed it. I could see the boys using the story and changing the 'magic' theme for love seeing how Wells kinda gives two sides for the whole magic thing, one being seen from the kid perspective of magic being real and all and the other from the father as the shop and everything there being a little creepy. Then there is the whole sense of wonder and amusement in going to the Magic Shop but then the empty feeling after leaving...

I just finished watching all the performances and I'm in love with DNA live band version! It's everything! 

Spring Day was beautiful and I love that they did the "oh oooh~~' part in the end. And the little dance medley was so heartwarming to watch, like a little walk thru their journey so far. 

Lost & Cypher 4 were nice as usual. 

After their last performances I don't see how antis or anyone can really come for them with the whole lip sync agenda...

I just woke up to some of the saddest news I could possible wake up to. I’m still trying to process everything and can’t stop crying. I’m not even a shawol and I can’t stop crying, I can’t imagine how some of you might be felling right now…

I’m so very sorry for your loss and please remember that you guys are not alone.

I didn’t know much about him and yet he still moved me so much with his music and personality. He truly was an amazing human being.
