Why do people keep pushing this narrative? What proof do you have other than being upset your faves did not make it? Last week majority of the girls in the Top 10 were Japanese; Koreans saw that and made sure to diligently vote for Korean trainees to outvote the wotas. This thread has BEEN known that showing girls with a lower ranking tends to make their fans/casual fans vote for them more because they see they need the extra votes. Just like Mnet randomly showing ONLY Hitomi's rank because she fell out of the Top 12 and they likely wanted more people to vote for her. Mnet is manipulative. They know how to get the results they want. But rigging votes? No. Stop this baseless accusation. ALL of the girls are close in rank. That is why they were unpredictable.

I think this was only a problem with IOI. I think it was resolved by Mnet before WannaOne because they went on public broadcast.

It's so dumb to base this show off of individual fanbases, and then not do individual album covers. That would guarantee I buy at least 3 albums each release (Minju, Chaeyeon, Nako) + possibly more since I'm warming up quickly to Sakura and Yena.

IZONE has been trending Top 10 on Naver since the episode aired and were #1 for a few hours. I think people are exaggerating a bit

People are just caught up in their feelings. Once IZONE actually debuts, if the music is good then the unnecessary hate will go away.

Hyewon is about the same. Both incapable even towards the end of the show. Sohye did show improvement towards the end of IOI so there is hope that Hyewon will improve as well. She just needs to the drive to improve and hopefully she has it.

Also does anyone know why on NB I saw something about rotating centers? Wonyoung would just be the certain center for their debut song. Is that true? I'd love to see them all as center at some point

I can understand why certain girls are disliked, but Yujin is pretty and can sing and dance. Like WHAT was there to hate about her? She was maybe a bit too extra at times trying to be 4D but like that's it? I never understood it. She looked SO pretty with long hair too I hope she keeps the extensions!

Yeah I thought she was really funny so wanted her in the line up anyways, but I never paid attention to her in performances. But dang her in the center really showed she is capable. This is one of the reasons I hated how people in the main thread dismissed everyone all the time in favor of "Fan favorites" like some of these girls have never had the opportunity to really show their potential. They will all have a chance to shine in the next 2 years and I can't wait to see how they all grow and improve even more

Yena dear lord. I can't get over how amazing she is as center in this. I've needed a new group to stan for a while! Can't wait for their debut! The show itself was hell but the Top 12 is great to me

Lmao I was gonna ask if that was Sana's nickname or something -- I hope the variety show includes a lot of the girls teaching each other Japanese/Korean! By the end of the 2.5 years I really expect Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi to be decent at Korean as well as the Korean girls to be decent at Japanese.

Why doesnt the first 24 hour milestone just be removed. Honestly, it's pretty clear that first 24 views are not accurate for anyone because YouTube has not had enough time to validate the views. It wont be for 2-3 days before they finally get everything normally updating. What is the point of having a chart when you gave no idea if its accurate?

I wasnt too big a fan if Sakura, but seeing her interactions with Minju is the last episode made me warm up to her a bit more. I do think they'll have good chemistry in the group

I've been into Kpop for almost 10 years now. I know how this whole thing works. I said from the get go that many of the Japanese trainees ranked high due to fanbase, but the finale ranking would be much different because it was live voting from the public. J-girl fans were SO cocky last week that they set themselves up for disappointment. I said countless times that last week's ranking had no reflection on this weeks rankings, but everyone kept assuming it did. Despite my disliking of certain members always trying to drag specific girls, ALL of these girls deserve to have their dreams come true. While I do think Miyu's fanbase is a little too vicious sometimes, I really hope that she can rise in AKB rankings now and people appreciate her more. She seems like such a nice girl, I was just against her aggressive fans. I hope all the AKB girls who didn't make it and aren't popular in their original group can rise in the rankings a bit now and prosper more. Despite my bias towards the K-girls because of the J-fans in here that rubbed me the wrong way, I actually did like many of the AKB girls and hope they a lot of success in the future. That being said, I support this line up! I wish Juri could have made it, but well, the rest of my faves did so I can live with it.

Both Mnet and AKP used each other. There are TONS of more people who know and are interested in AKB48 now and their sister groups.
