I like her challenging herself, but I feel like doing it on a live show was a risky move on her part... Many people think Jihyo can carry the role of the main vocal, but most of the songs she picked were in her comfortable range, and when she had to hit high notes she used falsetto pretty often (see some of her falsetto notes in the Nobody performance). It was a risk that looks like it didn't pay off for Minyoung... But her tone is so amazing... Its so rich, and smooth to the ears I wish we got to see more of her singing throughout the show tbh!

I just rewatched it!!! I love her voice so much too!!! She was so so so great till the ending of her belt but it wasn't obvious so whoever says she ruins the entire performance is clearly waiting for her to screw up and point it out... And I'm so annoyed, they showed other girls when it was her turn to sing her part of the chorus the second time! >:( I do hope she gets a chance to get proper vocal training... Most of JYPE's best singers (like Jun.k, Jimin, Yerin, Kwon, Changmin, Yeeun etc.) didn't become good from training at JYPE, they were either great when they joined (like Jimin and Changmin), or got external training (like musicals for Jun.k and Yeeun)... And tbh, I've been a bit irritated at people assuming she wants all the high notes to show off because we don't know who does the line distribution for the songs (aside from Girl of Fire). And even if she did say she'll sing the high notes, it may be because she's the only one that can hit them in the first place, even if she can't hit them properly 100% of the time... #defensive

She didn't crack in the hands up performance... I think thats the performance she looked most happy and comfortable and sounded great and I want to see that more 😢😢😢

I'm a Minyoung stan but at this point whether she makes it or not isn't my main concern... I just want her to get a proper vocal instructor (unlikely to be from JYPE tbh)!!! #wrongpriorities People always drag her cause of her cracks and I'm sure she's aware of that... And everytime her voice cracks she's likely to get more worried = more nervous the next time she sings = increased chances of cracking again... Its like a self-reinforcing problem... I just wanna see her sing freely without worrying and being nervous about this ;A;

Is nobody else going to talk about the disparity in air time? Basically, based on who kept getting interviews etc. Oh and who got their comments from JYP aired.

She'll reply everything at one shot when she goes on. When that is, nobody knows.

Am I the only one wondering how they split Jihyo / Minyoung into Major / Minor for the last battle? Minyoung would have benefitted from being on the same team as Nayeon and Jeongyeon... While Jihyo would do well regardless which team she was on...

Nobody was eliminated solely based on poll results. Minyoung has been in Major since after the first group round, ie safe from elimination.

I hope you guys read shmesm's fanaccount. It says the same thing as all the korean ones I read. Honestly, I feel like mnet's editing single handedly ruined her confidence, and I hate them so much for that. While Jiwon's hate comments stopped after the teaser, Minyoung has consistently been receiving hate since episode 3 aired. The top comment of their episode on naver (episode 6 if I'm not wrong) says "Minyoung must be eliminated." There are people that go around downvoting comments that praise her. And adding the fact that she's basically been at the bottom of the milk poll for the longest time, I can understand why she doubted herself this much. And as a fan I feel bad because I couldn't do more. There aren't enough of her fans to shield her from hate comments, not enough fans voting on milk... Not even many people writing her messages of support on fans compared to the other members...

No, the rumour is unlikely to be true but I'm preparing myself for the case where she doesn't make it... And if she does make it, I will be so super duper happy, but then after that I'll be so worried about her haters, about the fans of other eliminated members who might become her haters too... I just want her to be able to do what she loves happily~

Just wanna say that in the event Minyoung doesn't make it, I hope she leaves JYPE. No point trying to train for another idol group when she wants to be a singer-songwriter. Just spend all the time that would be put to dance and rap and whatever other training into singing and song writing... And when she finally debuts, she'll be amazing...

Since nobody really translated any Minyoung fanaccounts, let me share one I saw... I'm not sure how true it is but it was interesting so... Apparently, Minyoung has a lot of fanboys, and they came carrying placards and everything. When she came out they were super excited! And she also has ahjumma fans, apparently. XD I think its cute

I'm sort of disappointed too... But I guess mnet's edit of her turned people off because everyone just loves *bright and happy people*!!! And they chose to highlight her being sad... Its okay though, as long as she knows her fans exist and will be supporting her! I'd rather people be her fan for her musicianship and talent anyways~

I think some of the girls (especially Minyoung and Jihyo) put on some weight before the show started due to stress... I can't wait till this whole thing is over tbh, so those debuting can prepare for debut and those not can have a break before they resume training.

I've gotten 5 replies to date... Because not many people write to her... So do write to her, she says she reads all the messages to her in To.Sixteen!
