omg the coercive nature of kpop fandom and the toxic culture in general is so messed up and it's the vulnerable/sensitive fans that suffer the most from this, like especially those who end up too attached to their idol, too affected by fanwars/antis, maybe worse even neglect themselves/their responsibilities cuz they found "emotional solace" in kpop. which hey it's good that your fav artist helps you with depression and other struggles but if it becomes too much to the point you're wasting money, your life is all about supporting your favs, idk.. nah, that's unhealthy. like this is the second time i come across kpop stans writing tips how to save up for albums and im sorry but some things i read are like the most out of touch with reality bullshit ever. you cant be claiming someone who uses social media can definitely afford an album and you cant be guilt tripping random people on the internet to make buying albums/voting/streaming their priority in life. just cuz you can do that doesn't mean everyone else gotta become a zombie too, lol. smh most kpop fans are young, naive impressionable teenagers, how tf are they gonna manage their money that comes from parents anyways. i cant with the guilt tripping tho, i understand urging your fandom to be dedicated and do a little bit of sacrifice, but shading ppl for not bulkbuying or whatever is dumb af. like that's when you know you're going too far and need to realize people have a life outside kpop and you don't have to act like you're in a cult to enjoy something.
