Both Itzy and TXT's debuts were disappointing for me and it made me think if big companies are half-assing everything because they think fans will buy it anyway. And it disturbs me so much. You can like Dalla Dalla or Crown that's not my point but you can't deny that both of their concepts, songs and choreos were nothing special. A messy song and the badass "I'm different" girlcrush concept that been made by other groups for 7798980898778 times already. And I gave these 2 groups as examples but you can see it for other groups too. Y'all are hyping the bare minimum and companies are doing even less.

Funny how people are saying if a nugu group released Dalla Dalla everyone would hate it or love it. No, y'all just wouldn't care.

Idk what made people think Chungha is only successful because she's solo. Like hello girl has talents, visuals, charisma, stage presence, "promo", GOOD AND PUBLIC FRIENDLY CATCHY SONGS. And not everyone can pull a successful solo career like her just saying

NF is the best rapper and y'all don't give him the credit he deserves.

Also TUN wasn't a good song but it was better than 7 rings. Both were disappointing tho

For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to lurk on twitter especially since Minhyun was trending and I found a tweet about the minhyun bio situation and the comments made me feel a little hurt. They didn't understand where we were coming from and acted as though we were really bad, saying that Minhyun was coming back after 1.5 years and that we should be happy and that if we were going to act like this Minhyun should just remain a wannaone member;;;
The comments were really hurtful, and I know we were the ones in the wrong but I just wanted to protest so much in that moment bc it isn't true! In the end I forced myself not to say anything bc I didn't see what the point was in me saying anything.
I feel like I should be happy but yet I'm still so anxious. Even seeing the posts about Daniel, Minhyun and Jisung at the burn it up filming site made me feel so strange inside... I love wannaone, they are a great group of people, but I can't help that I feel the way I do bc I love nu'est infinitely more.
Can anybody understand how I feel?? I feel like I'm overreacting
I understand what you're feeling and I relate to it actually. It also hurts me how people were ready to judge us, like someone even made egg accounts and tried to look like LOVEs (And that's what most of the hate comments came from), or took things out of context. When we said "We missed Nuble" because we didn't see them for a while, they tried to make it seem like we don't want Minhyun. Idk it's so strange they try to make looks us bad? We moved on from the issue (well we were mostly sad) but people still talking about it. I even took a few days off from twitter because everyone was throwing hate @ us. I'm so angry in the whole situation but anyways yesterday we got the interactions, we'll get NU'E5T, we'll get the comeback after 2 years so I guess we won? I won't care about these crackheads anymore. Hopefully

People who are camping at dispatch articles are ugly. Like these articles are about such a good and heartwarming things but all you care is dispatch revealing a couple and ruining them?

Omg hello~ Welcome to the fandom 💞💞Hi new fan here (well for 3 weeks now) and I can't stop listening this:
I knew them this month when i watched Produce 101 season 2, and I can't understand how a marvellous group like this couldn't go unnoticed until 2017, i'm glad hat now are receiving the attention and paraises they deserve.
I hope next releases have the same concept as Canvas, it's such a brilliant album.

It's actually tiresome to see some people whining how K-Pop dies (or music in general) but continues to listen to same 3 artists always lmao. You can always find good things everywhere if you want to look for it.

I don't think fandom is getting smaller. It's probably because it's December and there wasn't that much fansign. They had 4-5 (?) i think. Help Me's ULs (70-80Kish) was higher Dejavu's (49K) eventho Dejavu was way more public friendly than Help me. And I didn't seenanyone leaving like I saw after WYA era. There's so much people joining instead. We'll get better results for NU'EST cb hopefully

Companies makes dumb decisions from time to time but mostly fans overreacts to everything. Never appreciate efforts of the people behind the scenes, thinks their idol came where they're just by themselfs lmao. Accept it or not companies literally madethe groups. Yeah artists also works hard and make companies earn money but this is mutual. And some fandoms just acting like spoiled brats, whining about everything... It's definitely annoying.

Shipping is for fun. People who get obsessed over ships are ridiculous, people who are strictly against it, too.

All the talk about how groups will never blow up if they're unknown for their first 3 years and the fact NU'EST blew up after five years... Makes you think

The promotions were short, yes, but they have MAMA and Final Concert next week so it was predictable. I think we'll have more varieties after promotions just like Dejavu era and that's better imo. I wish to have more Help Me performances as well but we'll get that award shows I guess haha.
Anyways this era was totally the best, their outfits, hair & makeup, stages everything was perfect. And they enjoyed this era so much, they were so happy and that makes me happy, too.

People who generalize others by categories and say "I hate this and that" are annoying af. Even the reactions of the same person for same situations can change, how can y'all just be this ignorant and put people under same category? The worst cases of this are sexism and racism but the others are bad, too. You can't know how one person will act even if you spend your whole life with observing them. All people have flaws, all of them are different. Just learn to accept that. Acting like you know everything about everyone is just arrogant.
I hate people who says "Men (or any gender) are trash, I hate them, I don't trust them"
I sexually harassed by my male cousin, but I also bullied by females both physically and psychologically.
I'm just giving this as example. You can't blindly blame someone just because they're male or female.

Just gonna rant a bit here
It just annoys me that everyone is guilt tripping each other. I wasn't okay with that event and never going to be, past traumas aside, my priority is member's health. J-LOVEs have every right to see them of course, but that wasn't the way. Pledis created a mess and just made it a bigger one instead of cleaning it. Fandom shouldn't have to be dealing with this in the first place. As I said I'm not okay with that event but they would have just promise another thing like concert or fansign. But it's Pledis, trash as always. It's also annoys me how some internatinal LOVEs are blaming K-LOVEs for everything, saying their concern for J-LOVEs or Nuble is fake and it was just about Korean/Japan thing like y'all don't even know Korean or Japan what's the point of adding fuel to flame?
I don't even know, this whole thing is making me uncomfortable. It should've been much better if we respect people's opinions, everyone has perspective. Not "you're thinking like that you're cancelled". Everyone makes mistakes and everything has its cons and pros. Continuing the war won't make anything better. Also if some people even think of leaving the fandom just because of a cancelation of an event it's overreacting for me. Ina LOVEs also endured this kind of thing, some of us don't even have the chance to Nuble but we're staying. I totally understand, they're worried because of NU'EST's future in Japan, they're sad because they can't see Nuble but if Pledis didn't announce this kind of event with this kind of timing, if they didn't do the mistakes they did in past, if they replied to the complaints on fancafe, then this mess wouldn't be here. It's not right to say K-LOVEs are against to all oversea promotions, because they never say anything to Double You concerts nor MAMA Japan. If there was Double You concert in Japan I'm sure they wouldn't be against it either. It's injustice to say that they're racist, they don't want any oversea promotions, because this ain't it. Losing our trust to each other won't solve anything. I don't know if there are a few people with bad intentions, but generally people just thought of member's well being. Even JRs noona liked and commented a post which means even their families were worried about this.
I saw some people said J-Loves were the ones who kept NU'EST's head above water all this years (and I'm thankful for that) but also don't forget NU'EST is still here because of K-LOVEs. They were upset because they weren't here when NU'EST was struggling and trying to do their best, we are all trying. You can think they did wrong, people do mistakes in general, but don't bash and blame them for everything. Idk I just want people to stop fighting and enjoy the cb. If we continue this we'll hurt the members further, and I believe nobody wants that.

The Unpopular Opinions Thread (Read OP)
in Random
Posted · Edited by #Waiting
I hate it when people who only listens to popular groups and popular songs say things like "K-Pop is getting boring :(" or "Music is dying :(" then not giving a chance to actual bangers and talented artists. You're hypocrites sorry not sorry.
I don't understand how y'all find underweight people attactive. It's an unhealthy obsession. (I'm not talking about underweight people who have health issues but people who starve themselfs to death to be that thin)
They should let Lisa sing more. After hearing her vocals in Don't Know What To Do I actually think she might be the best vocal in group. Also I don't get the hype with Jisoo's vocals.
KTL could be a banger but they've really ruined a good sample.
Kyle Hanagami is a good choreographer, his choreos are quite good, but idk he's giving BP those mediocre choreos. His K-Pop choreos in general isn't good actually (except for Flashback and Face)
