I really like Ringa Linga too, and I agree with your assessment. I think the choreo for the top 3 are pretty strong. I haven't watched every fancam so can't really tell how it is as a whole. Excuse me while I fangirl a bit. Sehyoon had to add the hump in swag, and I LOVE IT. I totally didn't expect that. I like how he always has some killing, memorable moves in his performances (the dance break too, not just the hump).

I feel like their audition as a whole did not make them stand out. I couldn't tell they were good at dancing. Not sure why YG chose the weaker members though. This was just my impression. I don't know their talents since I don't follow them and the episode only show a few minutes of the performance for us to judge. Perhaps you can post vids of their choreo and dance.

I think the outcome will very likely be based on popular members, not the performances themselves. Like the results for the girls. Not that their performances aren't important, just won't factor into voting that much. PS. I just don't like how the system works, popularity >>> talent. It doesn't make popular contestants less deserving, just more advantageous. No hate is meant towards anyone. Please don't take it the wrong way.

I hope Ringa Linga pulls through. I love the killing part at the end. But I think the winner is going to be Paradise Lost, then BBB, then Ringa Linga.

Are are kidding me? ACE members are some of the best dancers in this show. Donghun is one of the best vocalists. Boys top contenders are more talented and well balanced.

I get it, this is a popularity contest, so obviously #1 does not mean most talented. It means popularity. So there's nothing wrong with saying someone is overrated (obviously in terms of talent). I don't get why people are getting defensive and saying she gets hate, when you all admit it's all about popularity and not much talent.

That's all I needed from this thread, that popularity =/= talent. It seems to me that most are convinced Ryujin lives up to expectation, meaning she is the most talented and deserves the #1 position in this survival show. She can be #1 and she can be the most popular, but she is still overrated in terms of talent. That was my point. I know it's wishful thinking, but I hope other talented girls get attention and screentime too.

Ryujin is not hated on, not within this thread or outside of it. If there is anything negative, it's probably like 1% of the usual hate most idols get. I don't really care that she's popular. Of course popularity does not equal the best. She is definitely falling short of people expectation though. This is a TALENT COMPETITION. Although we can't all be objective, we all would like the most talented to get the screen time, attention and votes that they deserve. Her talent =/= the screentime, attention, votes that she has garnered. That is why she is considered overrated.

I feel like I really have to restrain my voice in this thread it's scary. 1. Ryujin is so overrated it's annoying 2. Girls performances were very underwhelming. I have nothing more to say.

It's not a reversal moment where she overcame the flaws. She's not going to gain votes with this attention. It's YG's confirmation that she's not good enough.

isn't it too much? they focus on her shortcomings a lot. I'm sure a lot of other girls have bad moments that are never aired.

I'm impressed with Soomin. I haven't paid enough attention to know her vocal ability. What's shown on the episode is very important because most people aren't going to watch extra/bts clips unless they're very interested in the show or a particular contestant.

I have to agree with Kfans preferences. The top 3 performances for boys are Ringa Linga, Bang Bang Bang and Paradise Lost. I'm anticipating the full performances for them the most. It's You is a great song but the team didn't take advantage of the beat for better choreo. They're probably the weakest. Can't rank yet because it's still only a sneak peak. Ringa Linga is a standout to me. But since voting is based on popularity, either BBB or Paradise Lost will win it. For girls, I thought I would like Genie because of the beautiful photos of their red outfits but the dancing was a bit awkward. I'll hold my judgement for later though.

I think all 5 are very skilled and capable of being leaders. It doesn't diminish Jun's role as leader when they come together.

Looks like ACE members are the respective leaders of their teams. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sehyoon - Ring Linga Donghun - Bang Bang Bang Byeongkwan - Paradise Lost These were the 3 performances that were praised too. I'm shook. So much respect for these boys. I'm so excited!

It's just what they chose to do. Just like how rankings only for girls or video clips of only girls are posted in this thread. It's funny that the division thing is brought up when something only boys is posted. I'm just a bit bothered by that. Nothing against your comment.
