someone in the bashing thread said that YG's problem is that they only really have 1 sound and while it wasn't noticeable when they had two main groups - BB and 2NE1 - it really is now that they have several and they all basically sound the same. this is the same thought I've had for a while as well I wouldn't mind the sameyness if that sound was a good one (I mean I'm sure ppl could accuse SM acts of similar, but the nu-house EDM vibe happens to be a sound I like, so perhaps I'm just biased), but YG's output has really nosedived post-2012 imo. they've gone from my favourite agency and groups to being some of my least favourite, an alarming fall from grace

there's no shame in being emotionally affected by something that involves a person you care about. I hope you all are able to get the rest, nourishment and comfort you need in this distressing time. I know that some things I say may not make you feel better, even contribute to your sadness, and while I'm sorry for that, I can't help but feel how I feel as well. I just want you all to know that whatever our individual opinions on this case, I hope it doesn't come between us personally. like I've previously said, the last thing I want to do is to make any of my friends feel worse than they already do and if it ever seems that way, please approach me and express yourself honestly rather than bottling up any resentment or hurt. now that DC JYJ has withdrawn their support, Dispatch's article lends credence to my own long-held suspicions against CJeS and a third woman has come forward... to put it simply, it's not looking good. I personally feel I cannot lend any support to Yoochun anymore because the accusations are stacking up against him. I know not everyone will share my view but for me personally, I'm not comfortable supporting someone in his position currently and that's where I stand. I know I'm fortunate to be a casual fan, so it's probably easier for me to reach this decision than most. I don't begrudge more dedicated fans having a difficult time coming to terms with what's going on, or letting go. it's not an easy thing to do. that said, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and you won't feel bad about this forever. as someone who has struggled with mental illness, depression and anxiety since childhood, I can attest to this. bad times don't last. if you want to talk to somebody, please do; don't feel like you shouldn't say anything because you fear what friends or acquaintances may say.

it's understandable... I think a break is a good idea. I hope you feel better soon. this whole thing is a nightmare not only for the alleged crimes and potential victims but also seeing the toll it's taking on my friends... just wish it would all end soon

the dirty homin stan is me. my obvious bias, hatred for JYJ, true colours, etc. don't trust anything I say either, of course yeah exactly. I won't tell you who or what to believe but I had to say something in this cause because she's caused so much trouble over nothing before.

I've made these posts before but as I said previously, I would not trust ohmyjunsu. she's notorious for spreading rumours and straight up making up stuff and causing people to swallow all sorts of bizarre things. she's always finger pointing at somebody and she's made it clear she intends to clear Yoochun's name by any means possible, thus she's not a reliable or unbiased news source. Paulisteu aka Ria is fine though... she's a friend and I generally trust her trans though I don't normally rely on her for news personally for obv reasons (being a dirty Homin stan, etc) so I have no issue with her though of course I would exercise caution with any fandom translator since they're naturally going to be implicitly biased no matter what. combine your sources, people

it's the same info that's going around lately - that the hallway of the bar has CCTV, but the private rooms don't. there's no use scouring the web for straws to grasp at - I know it sucks but all we can do is wait and see what information comes out, and try not to only see what we want to see

terrible, shocking news. I hope for the sake of the victim, Yoochun and everyone that it didn't take place, but I prefer to err on the side of caution during times like this. innocent til proven guilty etc but so few people report sexual assault in the first place, and a female sex worker has little to gain from it and will be raked across the coals by society no matter what happens in this case, so I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt until further information is released. while it's understandable to feel defensive, I couldn't live with myself if it turned out that I dismissed a valid claim of assault just because of fan bias. I'm not interested in fan speculation or etc since none of us were there, so I'll wait for more news from official outlets rather than kpop fans and sites...
