I preordered TIME ltd edition dvd on CDJapan for myself as a reward for submitting my thesis... but my thesis still isn't submitted yet lol....

i like and care about politics to an extent, it's just such a mentally exhausting topic lol. i chose IR because my college only offered three masters courses in the history school and it was the only modern one, because I'm not interested in pursuing medieval or Irish history... so yep... not exactly an inspiring reason lol

haha thanks! it's actually extra difficult because I deferred submitting it for a year, so I've been out of my "student brain" and living as a Jobseeking Adult for so long. I can't get back into it smoothly. college was so difficult but looking for employment is harder.

that's so cool... haha I don't think there's any way I could slip a reference to them in, sadly. the closest I'll get is referencing some documents from JAXA. space is cool at least.. but... politics isn't......

I'm looking forward to catching up next week then ^^ I wonder if they'll get another regular cast member after Dalhwan leaves? I'm amazed at how effective this show is at getting people into sport... I'm awful at most sports, especially as I'm visually impaired, so I usually have no desire to play anything (except bowling, so I loved those episodes very much). but watching this show makes me wish I was so much more active. I even considered looking for clubs to join... such effective propaganda..

haha no problem. I'll be over 30 by then myself, so I'll just study middle aged subjects... naturally...

lol if I was in a course that would let me write such a thesis I totally would. maybe someday

haha yup. it's about international politics pertaining to the uses of outer space and such. the space race and the cold war and all that... it's actually a very interesting topic to me but my brain is so worn out on it... wow that's practically a whole day in the air... I love travelling but it's so exhausting. I don't know how idols do it.

it's on Outer Space and International Politics... haha... such a long flight. the furthest I've ever traveled is from Ireland to San Francisco. I can't even imagine what it's like going on such a journey.

I'm technically no longer a student but I'm finishing my MA thesis this week (I deferred submitting it for a year, long story). I studied International Relations at postgrad after finishing a joint BA in History and Art History at the same college. I dropped out of two colleges before that (first doing Graphic Design, then Film & TV Production...) so my academic road has been bumpy to say the least... will be glad to have it all finally done with, but I'm not really enjoying "the adult world" so far either. jobhunting is way too depressing.

I also got Yunho with my KYHD album I keep the card in my phone case... I don't have much else since I'm a recent fan. just the TONE album and live dvd. no cards with those alas... when my thesis is finished and printed and bound and sent off I'm preordering the TIME dvd for myself as a reward...

I got a Yunho card btw! so I'm happy I got Changmin with my OCEAN cd+dvd so now I have both!

it's so bad, lol. I'm awful at working at home too. there are too many people around to distract me. I should go to a coffee shop and work there but it's "meh" out so I don't feel like going outside... booo

I haven't caught up with the last 2 or so episodes yet, but I'm going to miss Jongsu so much... his friendship and chemistry with Changmin was so adorable. I wish they'd make him a recurring cast member like Dalhwan :'( actually I'm going to miss Dalhwan too. I love that such a normal dude suddenly became famous through this show lol.

I wish I could switch my brain off... I'm trying to finish my masters thesis so I can send it to my college this week but my SCREAM single just arrived and I'm so distracted now...

I really want to draw something for the anniversary but I'm so rusty... I think I'll save money so I can buy a new tablet, though, and that'll give me more motivation to do it.

oh my god, that karaoke room. I want that big flask cup... I have a Changmin flask irl (I'm drinking tea out of it right now) but that one is even fancier... I think having two separate threads for the anniversary will be fine. that way, people can comment in either and move between both according to their needs. I like DB5K years and some of the ex-members, so sometimes I want to talk about them too, but I also understand when is appropriate to discuss them in relation to TVXQ history. I think it'd be good to have a thread just for TVXQ as we know them now so that nobody veers off topic or diverts attention away from the praise they're due for their perseverance over the last few years. but a separate thread for reflecting on DB5K history on the anniversary would be nice for people who want to discuss that as well, if it's their thing. I'm not an OT5, but I don't like "taking sides" either, so accommodating everybody at the same time seems like the most diplomatic way to do it.

a few pages late probably but I just wanna say I don't mind some bitching... I know I bitch all the time. speculation is one thing but like someone said I like to put my faith in Yunho and Changmin themselves before I believe anything. there'll always be gossip and worrying and I don't have the heart or energy to deal with all of it, haha. I think one reason I was drawn to TVXQ is because their relationship reminds me of my own relationship with my irl best friend of 15 years. she's 3 years older than me and we've done everything together since I was 11 and she was 14 (so I guess I'm the Changmin, lol). we're still extremely close now and we also live together. that said, I'd be lying if I didn't say we had arguments or disagreements sometimes, or if we didn't annoy the hell out of each other regularly. but we're close enough for those kind of altercations to not be a problem... we move past it because we know each other so well. I don't know if it's the same for Yunho and Changmin, but I like to think it's similar because I see a lot of me and my best friend in them when I watch them interacting onstage, in interviews, etc, throughout the years.
