I come from a jrock background myself (mostly early 00s) and British and Irish indie (mostly 2004-7ish) too, so I can relate on that front, haha.

mostly it's just a quiet little cafe with great Korean food and I don't really talk to anyone there because everyone keeps to themselves (and non-kpop fans frequent too), but it's a nice environment for a kpop nerd.

I see the odd shout out once in a while but as you can imagine there are lot of notes for EXO and the like... the notes get torn down and refreshed every now and then too. you'll have to leave your own sometime, maybe I'll see it haha. also you can see SHINee's autographs on the wall and Choi Siwon's if you're into that sort of thing...

we're not too far from each other then! everyone I meet online always seems to be in South London... yes, it's on St. Giles Street, right next to Tottenham Court Road station. it's just behind the Centre Point building. it's easy to miss cause it's so tiny, but I love it there. it's so cheap I don't feel guilty about eating there regularly. I was just wondering cause it's a bit of a kpop fan hangout haha, all the notes there are kpop shoutouts and they play songs all the time. it's a cute place. tiny though so it gets crowded sometimes. but if you go there you might see some TVXQ notes from me...

hey, I hope you don't mind me introducing myself here... I noticed some of you in other threads and I thought you seemed nice. I'm normally in the other TVXQ thread but since I like the original lineup too I thought I'd pop my head in if that's alright. anyway my name is Teru, I'm 26 and I'm from Ireland but I currently live in London in the UK. I'm a pretty recent TVXQ fan overall but I love having extensive discographies to wade through and I'm a bit of a completist with them too and it's fair to say I've been sucked in by their entire back catalogue. I don't know if you can tell, but Yunho is my bias... my favourite 5-member album is a toss-up between Mirotic and The Secret Code. welp, seeya!

though I'm Yunho biased, whenever I'm stressed out and panicked I find myself thinking about Changmin and looking at pics of him more. Yunho suits my mellow side and Changmin suits my high strung side, it seems...

also I wanted to mention that I finished a level of my weekend Japanese class recently and my teacher noticed my TVXQ clear file and has been making fun of me ever since. she also made me say "有å人ã®ä¸ã§ã€æ±æ–¹ç¥žèµ·ãŒä¸€ç•ªå¥½ãã§ã™" in front of everyone

yes, apparently he's hairy all over and gets his chest waxed for performing and photoshoots lol, my phone wallpaper is Yunho too. and my laptop wallpaper is both of them. I'm 26 and my mum constantly scolds me about being "too old for boybands!!!" too so I am probably relating to your sister who is over a decade younger than me too much... I'm from the Republic of Ireland, but I moved to London in the UK last year to try and get a job (no luck yet...). hmm, my first song. I'm not quite sure actually. it was probably through my friend who got me into them so I'm guessing it was probably KYHD or something, but I actually can't remember for sure I think Mirotic was the song that turned me into an obsessive though...
