https://onehallyu.com/topic/565252-latest-info-news-jyj-yuchun-ms-discharged-thread-china-mickybaidu-bar-bus-support-21st-aug-3rd-sept-yuchun-comeback/?p=23752032 this poster has a point... the OP's thread is full of content which really belongs either in the group thread and/or the individual artist's thread but has been lingering around the current news section for weeks now. she also has two other similar threads which are similarly pushed to the front page of the section every day and which few other people seem to actually post in besides the OP who has made thousands of posts at this point. if any of them were about current projects or breaking news regarding the idols I could understand, but the content posted is primarily stuff of interest to fans rather than general OH users, and should really be posted in the artist thread like every other fandom does here. one of the idols is currently enlisted and not even active in the industry right now, so there's nothing to urgently update on. people might be reticent to report it because the content itself is certainly benign and of interest to some, but ultimately it's spam and belongs in the artist/group threads where people who want it can easily find it. what do you think?

I'm glad to see fans' appeals re: ticket scalpers is starting to show some effect. seems like lots of scalper tickets got cancelled and were freed up for actual fans to buy. if you're from overseas and trying to buy a ticket, please do it through Yes24 or SM Travel. the former will put cancelled tickets on sale for you to buy online (just keep checking their site) and the latter has a waiting list for global packages freed up by cancellations. do not buy from reselling agencies or dubious individual accounts who swear they'll transfer it for you. in response to fans' demands, the concert organisers are going to do more thorough checks than usual, and you won't be admitted if your name doesn't match the buyer's name on the the ticket no matter how far you've travelled. I know getting tickets from overseas is grueling and hard, but please do every fan a favour and do not give scalpers and reselling agencies your money. it only takes a few people thinking "well it won't hurt if I do it this time" to make things more difficult for everyone in the long run

thank you but nobody wants someone like me in charge of anything lol I'm sorry you experienced that. I find that the majority of people don't really intend to hurt others because they think they're sort of yelling into the void and nobody is really going to take it to heart, but it unfortunately happens. it's easy to experience disconnect with people online and that can cause you to say things you don't really mean because you have nowhere else to vent and as soon as you close the tab and move away from your computer you don't really have to confront what you just said. that said, it's not fair to inflict that on unsuspecting passersby like you, and it's selfish and inconsiderate to treat what is essentially a public space as your own punching bag. I know a lot of users here are young so it may be their first internet community experience, it can really be a learning process, but after all my years online all I will ever say is that I wouldn't say anything here that I wouldn't say in real life. I think that's a good rule to live by when using the net. it's so simple that people forget themselves imo.

I don't know the details of what happened at all but I have to say that the overall attitude of this forum has grown increasingly nasty and hostile to an alarming degree, and I think it's about time people realised that their words and actions have an effect on others around them. yes, this is the internet, and you can cut loose and have fun and make great friends, but it's not a virtual playground for you to just do and say anything you want or live out your fantasies or whatever without taking responsibility for the consequences. it might be "just kpop" but it's never "just the internet." it's been around long enough for the majority of us to know this. we all expect a bit of gentle ribbing, good-natured joking around, disagreements, the occasional terse argument over a given topic, etc... all of that can be taken in stride and good fun. there is no need to bully people or hold grudges or go out of your way to do harm to someone over a forum. I'm not saying we all have to join hands in e-kumbayas every day, but there are real people sitting behind all of these user accounts, each with their own feelings and experiences, and you should think before you choose what to say to them just like you would to anyone in front of you in real life. if you wouldn't say it to someone standing in front of you, don't say it online just because you can't physically see the effect of your words. life isn't a fucking Mean Girls movie. treat others as you would want to be treated.
