  1. lol, it's okay, I've had a lot of bad experiences with OT5 fans myself so I can understand soulo beat me to it. I would have recced TVXQExpress as well. you can also check Hominfatale http://hominfatale.livejournal.com/ but they're not active anymore so it's mostly older stuff from 2012 and earlier. they have a lot of Japanese shows
  2. you can watch it here https://tvxqexpress.com/2015/01/18/vidtrans-141219-changmin-was-mentioned-by-zhoumi-in-yinyue-big-guest/ but I don't think it has subs. it's called YinYue Big Guest watch out, you're talking to notorious homin stan no. 1, I might get my cooties on ya
  3. Yunho was trying to make a strawberry... he's so lame
  4. resurrect this cute ass thread too
  5. resurrect this adorable thread
  6. I heard about it on the news - glad not many people were hurt but it must be horrible to have your home threatened and be at risk of losing all of your possessions and community. wishing the best for your friend and everyone else there
  7. thank u... I will take regular fucking-around-on-the-internet breaks for sure
  8. welp my manager just told me he resigned lol... we're basically a two-person team doing the work of 4 people, now it's just going to be me doing everything I guess. hooray
  9. work was insanely busy yesterday, today it's extremely dull - I can't win
  10. yup... IR is just one big long Kobayashi Maru experiment... I can definitely see that happening tbh. I've spoken to people who have lived in Japan before and learnt so much just from immersion. quite often they become excellent speakers and listeners, but writing and reading is another story - also understandable because it's very possible to become very adept at speaking Japanese but remain poor at reading/writing. speaking will definitely benefit me most in the short term and I'll work on my reading and writing and hopefully bring it up to an acceptable level, lol. even just being there a few times helped me a lot more with my general comprehension. I find I understand people there a lot better than I expect, the hard part for me is simultaneously coming up with a response. by the time my brain has processed and understood what they're saying, the moment has often passed... I get stuck on my reply because of my lack of confidence in speaking too. so I'm hoping that improves with more time there. apparently it's not a problem when I'm drunk, so I guess the answer is to just be drunk all the time. wooooo
  11. oh duh. I forgot you're a politics/history/art student like me. my MA is in IR as well... hmu if you need to vent about rational actors or how there's no real solution to anything!! haha true I suppose. I don't really have any reason to go back to college though. maybe in the future if I change my career path... but for now I think I was in it long enough, and I just want to continue working and living. the only thing I've considered going back to study is Japanese, but for now I'm okay with tackling that in a purely conversational way
  12. thanks! yeah lol, my bf used to work in an office and was telling me horror stories of being the young lackey in a large Japanese corporation... it was interesting, lol. but I have a fair amount of experience myself already at least oooh nice one, what's your MA in? I always wanted to study abroad but I never had the opportunity, alas. I've been to Oslo, it's a nice place
  13. we use both in Europe but I'm more used to it, it's just much easier to immediately tell the time for me... I hate it when clock widgets on my smartphone don't have a 24h option, I can't use them istg
  14. lol, it's fine :p it's easy to forget where some people are sometimes definitely... I'm looking forward to it though, it should be fun. hardest part will be finding employment but I just know it'll work out, so I'm not too concerned are you going to study abroad?
  15. coming to you live from London, baby I'm from Ireland though, I moved here in 2012 and soon I'll be relocating once again
  16. also my timezone is GMT, it's 13:17 currently
  17. it's from Yunho's Japanese solo MV, Burning Down - the title track on his fanclub-only solo mini album http://www.jpopsuki.tv/video/YUNHO-from-Tohoshinki---Burning-Down/a8e33d3bda41a7d0095cc3c3d467fabf
  18. I saw TVXQ do Love in the Ice live and it was... ridiculously and singularly beautiful as for Changmin rock solos, it can't not be posted, cover regardless https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqnP-eryo4E hell yess
