  1. It's nice. I agree that it really suits her and her voice.
  2. Well there's been the rumor of an English album happening so I'm willing to bet the August date might be for that. The June date is either for their lead single from that album or a Korean comeback
  3. Eh, considering how crazed kpop fans can be with doxxing, threats etc. I don't necessairly view that suspicious per say. Regardless it's best HYBE/ Source address this soon.
  4. I get that it's not HyBE's ot BTS' fault this guy is a 'alleged' ( and i say that because his case still appears to be going on) sexual predator. But given the situation is still on going, they could've either just left the off the album all together or record a new version of sorts where he's not involved. That way it likely eliminates the chance that he could still profit from the song.
  5. That's a fair point and I don't entirely disagree. it is important to remember that A) it's just one side of the story and B) it's still 'fiction' in a sense that some of this info is likely embellished/change for either dramatics or to protect her and her team in case someone would want to come for them legally. But at the same time, I don't necessarily view this as her being bitter? Like, I'm certainly open to the possibility that there's a great chance other factors played a deciding factor in her departure. I also believe for all we know, there could be some truth to both/all sides of the story. However, I do think she has the right to share her own feelings or experiences of what happened, even under the guise of 'fictional' work. SM and certain insiders/fans where very quick to lay down their side of the story and throw their power around after she announced she was kicked from the group. Unless I've missed things (which in fairness I haven't kept up with Jessica much these last few years so i could be wrong), she hasn't had much of a chance to 'defend' herself so to speak. So while I think it is important to keep in mind some of this is likely not a 100% representation of how events took place word for word, using it as an 'outlet' of sorts for her experiences is fair game unless she's revealing information that she has no right to.
  6. I agree with @Your Biggest Fanthat it's possible that creative differences could've led to her decision to leave JYPE. But also, I feel like by the time WG disbanded and contracts were up, the company had already began abandoning solo actives, not just their idol group members, but even their soloists as well. I mean, they had Beak Ayeon and Baek Yerin who had digital hits under JYPE and even 15& were starting to gain some traction as well, but JYPE was barely putting in the bare minimum effort when it came to their soloists. Sunmi probably knew that when she left. Also going back to the point in a previous post, I do also believe the Suzy-Miss A situation did play a big factor in how they choose to neglect or hold off on individual activities at first, especially for Twice. But I also think after JYPE found success of building fandoms bigger with their 3rd and 4th gen acts, they have adopted a 'if it's not broke, don't fix it' approach. Of course, that's not exactly a 100% great approach because their management still is quite questionable and increasing individual activities could help boost followers, but they don't seem keen on changing much anything soon.
  7. That's terrible. Hopefully he'll get some type of justice
  8. They all look so cute Come on, don't do that to poor Momo lol
  9. I was thinking this, plus they're edging closer to their 10th anniversary next year. In a way it makes sense. But tbh, I'd feel ripped off. Doing a best of album separately wouldn't be so bad. But after waiting a couple of years for a new album, I would at least like a mini album of new material if nothing else.
