  1. idk it's a weird situation because on one hand the issue is just cultural difference and how she was raised back in china and on the other hand she's promoting in korea which in their culture they kneel down to show gratitude and i saw a lot of idols do it. so maybe she could've done out of gratitude and nothing else even if it's culturally different than hers.

the more i think about it the more i think she's somewhat at fault here because it wouldnt have hurt? but i wouldnt cuss at her like how those xenophobes would..

want to bet if he debuts he most likely will still be supported and protected mainly by girls/women?

I know some girls (especially younger) will still support him which is pretty sad and will reinforce his misogyny. I hoped (before his 'apology') that he would be kicked out as he's just a trainee but i think not. disappointing but not surprised. but i'm pretty sure it'll stay a stain on his reputation and the next scandal he falls into will probably be his last.

how can someone be so low to gain fame and money from a crowd they hate? i'm shocked

  3. i just watched a performance video from pre-pandemic and realized how much i hate fanchants/fans screaming. it used to be jarring to me how silent the performances were at the beginning and even felt dull but not anymore.

as much as they show excitement, they show favoritism and rude fan behavior; like in some got7's music show performance when yugyeom was center everyone screamed and cheered but crickets when mark or youngjae were center. i hated it so much not only that it was downright rude but it would have definitely made the idols feel less like they made the idols know they arent that popular or loved.

or when a group is performing at year-end shows and the camera shows another popular idol/group, the fans would start to scream and the go back to silent when the group who is performing is back on the camera, i found it to be sooo disrespectful and i'm now fine with silent performances because at least it's not so glaring who is the most popular person/group is and everyone else has to be reminded every time

kinda a rant but i had to say it.

  4. i'd say nct for worse; i was soooo into them at first and for a long time but recently i began to dislike some in-group dynamics, some members' way of thinking and lastly the earthquake comments made me stop checking them completely (except for ten). i was especially disappointed in johnny

blackpink and twice for better; i used to dislike both groups because twice was too cutesy for me and blackpink didnt feel like a idol group to besides other issues but i like them both now.

itzy txt; i'm kinda neutral about them like i used to be a fan but now not really.
