Of course.  If there should be updates, please provide that to us in the Awards Ask Thread.  Also provide the necessary sourcing for that change as well and we work to update them.

I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that the season is officially  over!  We made it!  Took some time to go over everything to make sure submitted badges weren't missed and make appropriate corrections where completed!  I want to say thank you to everyone that participated and worked to help make this as smooth a process as possible!

With this announcement the temporarily closed custom and marketplace forms will be restocked again.  Those that are waiting to submit any new forms are able to do so again.  Non-season voting can resume again if stopped for the Awards Season.  New purchasables have been added to the system and are available!

Some things to outline for the Awards Season:

You must submit your OP Approval BEFORE hosting an Awards thread, or PM voting. This is to help us, as well as the users know who is in charge of the voting for a particular group/soloist/etc.  It also helps fellow fans and/or holders have input as to who they think can fairly run the voting process.  We also eased up on how many threads a user can manage, but strongly urge user to know their limits and not bite off more than they can chew.

This time around, while we are still implementing the steps process with the threads, we also tried to lessen the amount of necessary threads by consolidating them where we could.  So, if you notice fewer threads, it is because we tried to group a few of them.

IMPORTANTLY

For this year, we have decided to try out having the Badge Approval Thread serve as the final step for submission.  So, once you have received approval, that will serve as the final step in the Awards Season process for OPs.  We wanted to try this process out for this year's Awards Season.

Some of the consolidated threads listed below:

• How To Become OP + OP Approval
• How To Make Mock Badges (Tutorial) + Mock Badge Request
• Badge Approval (Final Step!  Not doing PM Submission this year!)

Voting WILL NOT be allowed to take place in artist threads. All voting will take place in the Awards Voting subsection or via PM. For situations to fall under PM, it has to be a non-group badge (meaning, soloist, OTP, actor/actress, or comedian). Group badges and their individual member badges take place in a voting thread. There should be NO PM votings done for them, unless approved by the team.

Ex-members may hold separate voting threads from their groups. Ex-members will be treated as soloists. So the individual thread and holders can decide if they want to hold voting separate from the group they were in or not.

OTPs will hold voting separate from the group thread. If a badge is under the OTPs/Pairing sections of the Awards Listing, voting will happen in its own thread.

Purchasable Badges will have a voting thread managed by the Awards Team. Voting for Purchasable Badges does not always happen at the start, but will have announcement threads stating it is coming and when voting periods will be taking place. So no need to ask when. It will happen!

No bribing for votes. This was something that has become a problem for some threads. While there is no harm in getting people to participate in voting, it does get to be a problem when you try to buy votes for a particular option. It's not fair to those participating in the voting appropriately and just makes the process an unpleasant experience for everyone involved, so please do not do it. If we do catch such behavior, we will take action.

SOME BADGE GUIDELINES
No fantaken images - official photos only.
The artist's face must be clearly visible.
Selcas are only allowed for OTP badges.
No low quality images.
Screenshots are allowed if they are high quality and not from fantaken videos.
No overly edited images.

*Failure to follow any of these rules may result in your badge image being rejected*

This year, we decided to expand to a 6th group as well as push some of the larger groups into that final group, to provide more time for the voting process.

It is almost time for Awards Season!  As always, we have a theme for it.  This time, Animal Crossing!  Instead of showing us your islands, show us your pretty badges!

This thread is to let users prepare, visit the important threads, as well as read up on the details needed.  Especially, if they are planning on becoming OP.  In addition, with this notice, we will not be accepting any new badges or marketplace item requests.  Our primary focus will be set on changing the current badges in the system.  The awards that are up for change can be found in the Awards Listing as well as further down in this thread.

The season will officially start on Sunday, July 10th, 2022, so keep an eye out for my thread to officially announce and start up the season on that day!  The section where voting will take place can also be found HERE

FAREWELL

We say goodbye to another member.  A Coordinator in fact.  She has been with us for a long time (practically OG status) and has always provided the team with good vibes.  She did her best to make new recruits feel welcomed and filled the group chat with so much laughter.  She started out as team member and when she thought she was done, I said na, you ain't.  She made a glorious comeback to be Co-Coordinator, but...unfortunately...her time has officially come to an end with this team.  No more gotchas in the pocket.  I can’t help but be appreciative for all her help as Coordinator and assistance with helping with Awards duties.  It has been a joy to have you on the team.  Keep being the fly bish I know you to be!  Help me in saying goodbye to katt.

We wish her the best with her future endeavors and all that she has done for us!
