i think it's generic af just picture any non-Wanna One group singing this. it's crazy to see how little creative effort is put into a group with this much potential if it were up to me, i'd axed this, not even a special release, just a bside for the fans would have been nice pre-releases kind of lower the anticipation for a group's comeback. hope the title track is a good song if not, I don't see this doing well with the public, at all

Tea! But really, you make great points and I agree. I hope no one takes offense to this, it's just a discussion for discussion's sake but she really has a point. Wanna One's career span is too short for any of this. The goal is for them to have only hits if they're to get Daesangs before they part. I'm also one who never got the craze about idols' involvement in production, at least the way it's paraded around as a bragging right in the kpop community. Self-production =/= good music by default. The only thing I'm wishing for is they work with grade A producers, the hit-makers in the industry because YMC sure as hell can afford it now.

How do you know about a repack? I don't think it will affect music charts tbh. And if it did, less releases during that time = less competition for them.

BTS peaked musically during the HYYH era and their Young Forever compilation album. No wonder they started to really explode in popularity during that time, because compared to their previous material, it was well-crafted, unique in a way and just overall more interesting musically than what was being put out by popular groups at that time. What's funny nowadays is how people rave about what they released after as some sort of master level or idol artistry while imo it's been downgrade after downgrade. WINGS was saved by Blood Sweat & Tears, a good title track but listen to the album and you'll notice how hollow and uninspired it is. The solos are way too premature and the only decent song in it is "Lost" but then again, put that song in YF album and it would rank bottom half. LY:her basically killed my interest in the group's music, sadly. I won't go to the details as to why it is their weakest work by far.

watching the BTS of the special track confirms it was intended as the title track when it was filmed @the comeback stage set that was shared, that would be for Gold right? hope it's a BOP
