Here is it: Describing his feelings and then he cries. Heart wrenching moment but I couldnt help roll my eyes at Mnet's poor translations. And so how he reacted all along to this situation and treated his fans makes me think Hongseok is the type of person who looks the glass half full not half empty. A positive person who treasured most the bits of love he got from those who didnt bash him. Maybe also held dear to him the friendships he formed, the growth from competition, and most of all that he finally got a taste of the real idol life...meetings fans, traveling, being part of a idol group, singing, etc. Whereas we saw Mix & Match as sinister, he remembers it as the most memorable experience of his life to the point that he cried for the first time (in front of the cameras) about leaving all of it behind. He auditioned for JYP. Im curious if Hongseok would consider going back to JYP and YG would hand him over. Have fun.

I think emotionally Hongseok copes well. Despite joining a competition where the other trainees had years of experience and he lacked any, getting cursed, booed at, ignored by fans and criticized by YG, he tried his best. He didnt let the harsh situation affect or discourage him not only in front of the cameras but also behind the scenes. He stayed true himself- that was being a kind and nice person. What he said in that interview was not about his frustrations. He didnt cry because he finally released his stress. Rather he cried because he was sad about leaving behind the experience of Mix and Match as well as iKON. He said it was the best moment of his life.

Life goes on. We may not even see JinSeok debut together so its best to start getting used to the idea that they will go separate ways.

Exactly. The audience that didnt watch Win last yet but watched Mix & Match this year or were not Team B fans to begin with were not attached to Team B. Those fans have a hard time adjusting to the idea Jinseok won't be part of iKON because thats how they came to know them as.

Trainee costs? They pay that themselves.

I dont agree with people criticize those who choose to leave iKON because JinSeok didnt make it. We have become attached to JinSeok as part of iKON just like Team B fans got attached to OT6 last year. They didnt want to see OT6 break up just like we hoped OT5 + 2 would stay together. We like the new friendships formed (Bobseok, JunSeok, Bi x Jinhyeong, etc) just like they fell for OT6 bond.
