I'm good! I'm not really following KPOP these days* but I still visit out of habit and to procrastinate.

* In part because most groups/artist I liked are inactive or disbanded, but perhaps the main factor in driving me away was how negative the atmosphere is. The tipping point was Jonghyun's death, I decided I'm better of not spending time on something that's making me sad.

So nowadays when I visit, it's mostly for the J-pop section and a bit of C-pop. But those sections feel more active in Hallyu+ (another forum) so I spend more time there.

 

How are you doing? It's so rare to see someone from the early days of OH!

Sorry for the super late reply! Yeah, the passing of Jonghyun was really hard on my sister too especially since she's been a huge fan since their start. Sulli was another huge blow honestly, that one made me feel angry/sad at the same time because of the hate she got before it happened .

I still casually follow Kpop but not as much as when this forum was first created. I can no longer be bothered to know the members, I just listen to the music. I found a discord group (Twice) full of newbies that reminds me of how I excited I used to be lol.  I came back here to see if anyone I knew still comes on, you're the only I found! I'm glad you're still active. Most everyone has left, I think? 

Don't worry about that! I'm usually quite slow at replying too.

Yeah most of the people from the early days of the forum seem to have left by now. A couple of years back there were still quite a few left, but during the last year and a half OH experienced tons of server issues, with bugs and the forum being down for months. 

Not to mention people leaving when their favourite groups disband/become inactive. But it wouldn't surprise me if there are still quite a few left, just that they've changed their usernames and are now following new groups.

Yeah the first period is special, it's exciting and a bit overwhelming. Now you get to play the fandom elder 

I think I'm mostly on this forum out of habit and procrastination if I'm honest. I'm more on H+ (another forum) since it has a slightly more active Japanese section (and importantly the Momoclo thread moved there). But BEG's "comeback" did make me more active here for a bit!
