  1. gaon and hanteo work differently hanteo is actual customer sales from hanteo certified stores. while gaon is total amount shipped to stores. more copies are shipped to stores only if they need more. japanese sales and non-hanteo store sales don't count towards hanteo but they would contribute to larger number on gaon.
  2. views arent important just for breaking records. when it comes to pop music a lot people just follow and pay attention to what is popular and the most common method people use to measure popularity and hype is to look at youtube view numbers. a lot of people don't want to follow a flop group with no hype and an uncertain future. straykids new mv without the boost would have got like 2mil views. its not a good look. with the extra views they at least look like theyre gaining traction. its a little less important for a group like twice who people know is popular but still jyp would want to avoid making it seem like the hype is dying down and that theyre falling behind the rival group.
  3. not trying to attack anyone just explaining why there was suspicion. wasnt just that they got more views than they did before
  4. DDDD reached 250M at 11:59PM KST congrats
  5. Click here to view the Tweet a fish in the tear puddle lmao
  6. inkigayo has 3 wins max rule. all the shows have differemt rules
  7. spotify monthly listener count is determined by how many unique listeners an artist had in the past 28 days regardless of how many songs they listened to. spotify updates the number every day
  8. 19M difference at end of week 4
  9. the ad timer shows how much longer there is left, not how long the ad is. in this case 2min. go to the real fake love mv and in that scene there really is 2mins left.
  10. dddd has the highest 24hr unique listeners currently. looks like it will hold onto #1 on daily
